29 The speech begins

As I arived at the inn I saw Valy waiting for me with a sparkling smile.

,,Welcome back father, I have finished the preparations for today evening which means that we can now get somthing to eat.''

,,Very good then we can go order somthing from Lia, afterwards get ready and go to Crane.''

,,Yayy lets do that'' Valyria happily replied'' before heading to Lia and sneak suprising her by jumping on her from behind and telling her that we wanted to eat somthing.

They sure have gotten close I thought before also joining them and sitting on the table to order my meal.

As soon as both of them had ordered and received theyr meal Lia sat down next to Valy and started to talk with her.

About half way through our meal she suddenly asked Valy and me if we by chance know what the announcement today evening is about, which I replied with that we can already guess what it will be about but without telling Lia anything else. As she couldn't get any information out of me she tried to pressure Valy, but after noticing that I didn't want to tell Lia anything she also stayed stuborn and just said, that Lia should expect a little suprise.

Still not satisfied with our answers Lia changed topic and we finished our meal.

After saying our goodbyes to Lia we went to our room and got dressed so that we could head towords the towns center where the event would take place.

Valyria got dressed and put on her forest green dress, the silver necklace embed in it a small dark blue jewel and the fitting bracelet. Stuck in her hair a single white rose which Aton just had attached to her.

I wore the outfit that Valy had chosen for me, a black shirt with black trousers and a dark blue vest. I put on the golden ring with the red jewel in it and let Valy attach the red rose to my vest.

With both of us ready we left the inn saying goodbye to Lia and telling her that this would be the last day we stayed her.

Sad but not heart broken she wished us farewell but not without making us promise to hang out with her later at the announcement as there was a festival scheduled afterwards.

Arriving at the Towns center we were greeted by a big stage and massiv audiance despite there beeing half an hour before the announcement would be.

Me and Valy headed threw the crowed to the back of the stage were whe where greated by Jean Crane the Lord of Breston. He a quick briefing what would happen during the event we both got ready to appear.

After half an hour the whole audiance was packed. Jean Crane at exactly 18:00 headed onto the stage and started his speech.

Dear citizens of Breston, dear travelers and also dear immortals, I want to welcome everyone that is gathered here tonight a night that is going to go down in history. Jean Crane paused a moment to let his words sink in a bit and raise the excitment of the crowed.

The crowed on the other hand that was loud just a few seconds ago quieted down as soon as Brestons lord entered the stage. Everyone wanted to know what the announcment would be espacialy after witnesing a new temple beeing build in under a week.

Jean Crane continued his speech ,,Today is a day of joyce, today Breston will finally regain its independance. As many of you may or may not know Breston is a neutral trading town inbetwen the Termes and the Asamon kingdoms and can only florish because both kingdoms agreed that Breston should stay neutral. But this is over. One of the kingdoms attempted to overthrow Breston to gain more power over the other kingdom. But not knowing which kingdom to trust I was uncertain what to do, to ensure, that Breston stayes independant and a week ago the World itself sent out a message that would seal Brestons fate, it was none other then the arrival of an Angel in our mortal realm.
