33 A promiss for the future

The immortal kneeled infront of Valyria and answered in a slightly exited voice:

My name is Rahel, and I am at your service oh holy Angel.

Valyria was thinking what to do, she needed to reward this person for giving her valubale information, but what could she give him. She thought back and forth, but could not think of any reward she could give Rahel.

Rahel on the other hand was still kneeling infront of Valyria and was waiting to see what would happen to him. He realy wanted her to accept him.

Rahel had obtained a rare class called Temple knight. It was a strong class, linked to a religion, which religion did not matter, the Temple knight could chose who he would follow, but only once. After choosing to which god a Temple knight devotes himself he can not change it unless the god were to die.

Rahel came to Breston to meet the angel and be choosen as a paladin of its god.

Why he wanted the angel to choose him?

Simple put, power.

Not only would he become a paladin but could ascend directly to the position of god's guardian.

he would be a direct guard of the god and receive tremendous power.

Despite the death of the god of the angel Rahel still wanted to serve her, as he thought that maby the angel would take the god's place after his death.

The angel infront of him was covering half of her face with her hand and seemed to be in deep thought when suddenly she asked him out of nowhere

,,Immortal, you have provided me with information I was desperatly seeking, for this you shall be rewarded. So now I alow you to state what you would like as a reward, and I shall try to fullfill it, if it is in my power to fullfill.''

Rahel momentarily stunned by his luck quickly regained his senses and answered ,, Oh holy angel, as a reward I would like for you to accept me as a warrior of your god. I want to stay by his side, protect and serve him until the day I die.''

After saying those words the aura of the angel infront of Rahel flashed up and he could feel how intense it was, he was kneeling at the moment and was sure, that if he would have been standing, he would have been forced to kneel.

Valyria had felt a sting in her heart after hearing the mans words.

She was shortly blinded by anger and whanted to kill this man, but she caught herself again, and as fast as her aura appeared, just as fast did it disapear again.

,,Sadly my father has died, so I cant grant you your request'' Valyria explained, ,,or at least not until I have finished my revenge. As I was the gods daughter, as soon as I have revenged my father I should receive his power and ascend to become a goddes. After that I shall allow you to become my guardian knight.''

Rahel quickly thanked Valyria and pledged his loyalty to her.

As soon as he did this he received a new misaion to acompany the angel of revenge on its journey, to exact revenge.

Gladly Rahel accepted the mission, and together they both set of towords the holy kingdom.

Meanwhile in the holy kingdoom.

The pope had received a message from the world, only rarely would a single individual get a message from the world, and only when it was of utmost importance.

The message stated:

,,Beware the daughter of the god your followers have slayn. She will come and she will bring death, she will bring destruction, but most important of all, she will break the seal of the gods. Stop her by any means, or the universe will be doomed.

Time remaining until her arrival 28 days.

The pope remaind calm and simple rang a small silver bell that was placed on his desk.

A holy knight entered the room and asked what were his orders.

With a calm expression the pope told the holy knight to deliver the emperor a message.

,,The seal is threatend, rally the troops, we are at war''.
