1 Chapter 1: The Dark truth-1.

Somewhere along the sea of the Indian Ocean, there lies a huge island hidden away from the world, the satellites can't trace it and the ones journeyed it never came back.

In 2000, an exploration naval expedition under the news of joint exercise comprising of India, China, USA, Britain and Japan with USA at lead tried to venture into the island codenamed 'The Oak wood Island' to discover the secret, haunting it, such a deadly naval force was enough to destroy anything in its path existing in those age, all the higher members of the government were confident and had great expectations for the mission success, slowly time flew away and the members of government were stressed and worried.

They tried their best to contact their respective fleets but nothing worked, they also sent out more Border patrol ships in search for any clues, slowly the government officials were flowing in despair, they all knew in their heart that nobody survived but they refused to believe it and started to more rigorously and openly search for clues, they would have irreconcilable consequences if what they were hoping not be true was the truth.

After 2 months passed not a single ship, person or anything ever came back, just as everybody was going to give up and going to face the consequences, India announced that they have found a clue.

The despaired officials found a ray of hope and quicky a meeting was setup in India, Delhi.

A recording tape was found in a wine bottle near the Indian shore and after searching it for hours for any hidden message except the recorder or any bacteria or disease, the cleanly bottle was removed of it duct tape to show its two half and a recorder in middle.

The tape was played front of all the important leader of the earth, A badly mutilated pale face appeared and the fidgeting camera showed its torn thighs and no legs, the room was covered with blood and you could hear the soldiers shouting at back in panic voices and gunshots after 2 minutes the gunshots stopped and admiral with a face of terror and dread in his eyes, spoke with a hoarse voice, "Hello *static* This is Admiral John Backway…I hope this message was able to reach the good hands*static* everything ha- *cough* *cough* been wiped, everybody is dead, this is my final message, don't send any rescue nor ever venture here I repeat don't send anyone anymore it isn't a place for livin-AHH!" Suddenly Admiral stopped speaking and looked at the door opposite to him, He picked up his handgun and started firing *shot* *shot*…and soon after the magazine was *click* empty "Please don't…. AHH!" *static*, the video ended.

A professional analyst seeing this deducted that he put the recording tape in the already opened bottle if observed beside him and took out the tape and ducted it and put it in, he guesses a torpedo pod and pulled the leaver.

As for the enemy they were facing he had no idea, but seeing the surrounding he interpreted it to be beasts, from how the admiral legs were torn and how bloody it was with those scratch and claw marks on the background steel wall.

All the leaders had a grim face.

An unfortunate accident was announced and press was called, news was released saying an unexpected eruption of a volcano caused such a huge disaster and loss of life and decimation of the whole exercise fleet.

The media of course didn't buy it and a huge protest were occurring in all the countries that took part in the operation asking for government to tell the truth.

The government kept quiet and promised compensation for the families, people threw Molotov's, burnt government buildings, schools were closed, government official families and themselves were threatened, RIPD forces were trying to control the situation and seeing the situation detreating martial law was declared which quieted the people by a large margin.

The leaders all made a speech apologizing and stating about how the accident occurred and promised that the families of the fallen will be taken care of the government. They decided to sermonize the soldiers with full honors which no one understood why? And thought it was to console the families of the fallen.

A treaty was signed 'Treaty of Versailles' its purpose was to keep that island a secret and the place will be governed by joint forces of world, Japan after hearing of the loss of its forces got so infuriated that disregarding the Treaty of Versailles, they sent a whole fleet of ships equipped with torpedoes, fighter fix winged aircrafts equipped with Type 98, 250Kg bombs, intending to blow the island up.

"Admiral Haruto, our planes have been loaded and refueled and are waiting for your orders to initiate the attack", said Captain Fuji.

"Very well, give the orders to commence the attack private", commanded the Admiral.

"Yes sir!", said Captain Fuji while commencing a military salute before walking away.

"Brother…I will avenge you", murmured Admiral.

"Oi, get ready boys! You have the order to drop these 250 kg, Type 98 explosive bombs on these and these parts of the island and return by 13:00 afternoon.", explained Captain Fuji.

He continued, "This is a very important and highly classified mission and you guys will be rewarded plenty after this expedition, if anyone gets shot down follow the protocol explained before".

"Yes sir!", shouted the professional ace pilots before walking towards their aircrafts.

Seeing this Captain Fuji smiled, he didn't think anything will happen to them as the war has already ended and was under the suspicion that this was nothing but an exercise commenced by the chief.

The planes were ready loaded and fueled, the pilots in the cockpit were filled with vigor and could not hide the lust for battle.

The air marshals gave the sign to take off.

*Swoosh* *Swoosh* *Swoosh*

7 planes carrying the best of japan flew out for a simple task.

The naval ships aligned them in case of any fire and the artillery was ready to bomb the land into nothingness, they had brought their pride Yamato, it was positioned behind looking at the island with a shiny gleam and its nine main guns pointed at the island, loaded, once given order nothing could stop it.

Time flew by… The admiral's hands became sweaty, the hand clock in his hand stopped ticking, his ears and eyes were concentrating on the planes whirling.

He started counting 10…9…8….

Sergeant Major Hiroto checks the time, 11:00, he sighs and says, "Alpha 1, Reporting to tower, no enemy flight has been discovered, the sky is clear, inside the mission territory, 20 minutes to let hell loose on target".

"This is tower, thanks for information Alpha 1, continue your flight towards north and in 15 minutes let hell let loose".

Sergeant Major Hiroto sighs and comments, "Isn't this quite an easy mission for us ace pilots, I have done countless bombing runs but why does this one feel so sketchy? Didn't the war stop? Who are we dropping these bad boys on?"

Sergeant Major Itsuki coldly scoffed and said, "You don't have to worry much, it's just a training exercise, our Imperial majesty wanted to show our might today, if you want to stop you can abort right now but be careful of consequences!"

Sargent Major Hiroto laughed and said, "You are still as cold as before, ha-ha I was just jokin- ".

*SWINGG~*

*BOOM*

The Admiral sighed and with a saddened look said, "All ships on board, get ready to retreat, the mission has failed, I repeat retreat".

Everybody on the ship only had eyes filled with confusion and terror.
