Important to him

Landon stared at the prince with a blank face. The prince had brought him aside away from everyone else. They were surrounded by trees everywhere he looked. The forest was silent without a single animal making by noise, even the wind refrained from blowing there.

"What are you doing?" he asked the prince who was standing way too close for his comfort. Their closeness was making his heart skip a beat and his mind was becoming chaotic with the crazy thoughts that he was having.

The prince licked his lips deliberately looking at him remaining without a word. Landon's mind was going crazy from watching him lick his lips. He could think of better things that he could do with those lips if given a chance. He couldn't keep his eyes away from his lips.

His heartbeat started racing in his heart as he stared at the gorgeous lips of the demon prince. "My eyes are up here," the prince said to him bringing him out of his dazed state. He looked up to meet the prince's gaze.

He looked into the beautiful hazel eyes that had enchanted his heart and got lost in them. He had many wishes in his heart. If only the prince was a nice person and he didn't have a secret to keep that he was a man. And if the circumstances were different and the prince was not out to kill him then. They could have had a chance to be together.

The prince placed his hand gently on his waist, pulled him closer, and continued to stare at him. He couldn't figure out what was so different about the human. He had many chances and reasons to end the human's life but he couldn't. He stopped himself.

He was entertained by him but what it was that kept him in check not to kill the human was what he couldn't understand. He enjoyed teasing the human but he hated him. He hated two things in his life, things not going according to plan and lies and Landon was both. He was the biggest liar he had ever met in his life and he was changing things and he didn't like that. He wasn't planned and the adventure he was on at the moment was also not planned for.

Thinking about where he has ruined his mood and made him bitter. He let go of Landon and took a step back from him. He couldn't help his transformation. His body was reacting to his mood, his eyes turned a deep shade of green. Two big horns took form on his head and a pair of black wings adorned his back.

He tried to calm down but his body was way too tense to relax. He could feel his throat drying and his eyes burning with hatred and anger.

Landon watched him transform and moved back frightened. The prince had his back turned to him but he could feel the dark aura around the beast. His power was so strong that it brought him to his knees and made him bow his head to him. His body felt an invisible pressure keeping him on the ground. He couldn't move.

Two lines drew themselves on each side of his cheek to his ear. His skin became pale white and his hair grew longer stretching to the ground.

"Theo," Ryker called out to him making his presence known. He and the others felt his energy from where they were and came running as fast as they could.

The prince lifted off from the ground and flee away from them and went east from where they were.

"This is bad," Sly said gazing in the direction the prince flew to. He switched his direction and directed his angry stare at Landon. "She is responsible for all this. I will end this matter here," he said and charged towards Landon.

Landon backed up from the ground. Sly ran towards him at a fast speed and prepared to attack him. When he threw his blow at him, Ryker went to block his blow but was sent flying from where he stood. A merman's strength is so strong that no mere beast can block even the simplest of his blows.

Sly's blood was boiling at its highest. He got hold of Landon and lifted him with his hand and threw him away. Landon was sent flying and screamed when he hit his back on a big rock.

"Today I will end your existence," he said furiously and ran towards Landon. Zaugustus who was watching from the side decided to join the fight and protect Landon. As much as he too felt that the male was responsible for everything that was happening and deserved to be punished. He couldn't see him die.

He changed towards them removing his clothes in the process. When he got close he jumped up to the air and transformed into his beastly form. He turned into a big creature with eight feet, two big horns on his forehead, a gigantic tail, and a black line on his white fur on his back.

He stood in front of Landon and blocked him from Sly. "Stop," he growled in a deep beastly voice.

"Get out of my way," Sly demanded not backing down.

When Zaugustus refused to move Sly started laughing out loud. "Do you think that a bysing can stop me?" he asked in mockery and dashed towards.

Zaugustus hit the ground with his tail causing an earthquake. The earth trembles to cause Sly to lose his balance and fall to the ground. Ryker seized this opportunity and tired him up with a titanium rope.

"Relax Sly. We know that you are only worried about the prince but this is not the way to go about it. The fact remains that lady Lara is engaged to the prince and that means that you should show her some respect. The prince would not make her a part of his life she wasn't important to him," Ryker said to calm Sly's anger. He was well aware of the other's anger and the number of cities his anger had destroyed.

"I will no.." Sly started to say but halted when he heard what Ryker said.

"The prince loves her," Ryker spatted out. Sly, Landon, and Zaugustus stared at him with shock on their faces at the confession.
