10,000 feet above ground

Landon woke up a few hours later. His head was heavy from the fever, he sat upon the seat and looked up. He was in an unfamiliar place that he didn't recognize. It was not the room that he was offered by Ara. He looked around to see if he could get any clue of where he was but nothing there looked familiar.

He got from the seat and walked to the door, he opened the door and was pushed back onto the room by a strong wind. He fell to the floor, the wind was still blowing into the room with great force. He held on to the seat as not to get blown away by the wind. The other things in the room were flying left and right because of the wind.

The wind lifted him in the air and was trying to blow him away but he held on to the seat so tightly that and refused to let go. His eyes were teary from looking directly into the blowing wind.

A silhouette of what looked like a man entered the room and locked the door behind him. Landon fell to the ground with a thud when they don't stop. He got up from the floor and looked at the state of the ones so organized room to see how destroyed it was. He turned to the man to ask where they were and met with the prince's angry face.

He wondered how the prince moved from the door to right next to him without him realizing it. He was standing close to his anger and hatred wrote all over his face.

"We are flying 10,000 feet above the ground at full speed and you go and open the carriage's door. Are you trying to kill yourself?" he asked angrily. Landon was surprised at what he said and had to confirm that he had not heard him wrong.

"Did you say 10,000 feet above the ground?" he asked imagining what would have happened if he had taken a step outside the door. He would have become history.

"Yes, little wolf we are that high off the ground so I advise you to advise the doors and windows locked until we arrive in golden city. It will probably be another eight hours," he explained arranging things back to the way they were.

"Where is a golden city and what are we going to do there?" he inquired taking a seat and holding his head to calm down.

"It is questions like that make me wonder where it is you are from little wolf," he said turning around to face Landon.

'Little wolf. Why is he calling me that?' Landon asked himself in his mind?

"But to answer your question, the golden city is the capital of Arcadia where the palace is. And we are going there because the queen called to inform us that the princess selection has been pushed to tomorrow," he said shaking his head in the room.

"Noted."

"This room is destroyed. You can't stay here with so many broken glasses around. Come you can stay in my carriage," he said and took Landon in his arms giving him no chance to refuse his offer. He stared at Landon and he couldn't help his blood boiling. He recalled what he discovered about Landon and felt like dropping him out of the carriage but falling to his death no matter the height seemed like an easy punishment for what Landon has done.

He opened the carriage door, Landon wanted to look down to confirm how far off the ground they were but couldn't because of the strong wind. He hid his face in the prince's chest, he was curious as to how the prince planned to take them both to his carriage when there was no way to walk on clouds and he couldn't see a thing out there.

The prince held him close to him and jumped off the carriage. He released his wings and flew away from the carriage and headed to his which was the second one to the front. He flew fast to catch up to it as he understood the air was probably not good for the delicate being he was holding in his chest.

Due to how fast the carriages were moving his one set of wings was not enough for him to get to his carriage. He released his second pair of wings and together they pushed him so fast that with just one flap he was almost surpassing all the carriages. He retracted one of his wings and held on to the door of his carriage and opened it. He went in one swift movement a d locked the door. His wings disappeared before Landon could see them as he let go of the male.

Landon opened his eyes and was in awe at how beautiful the room was. It was decorated with purple and gold curtains. The furniture in the room was one that he had never seen before and all of them were either in gold or purple color.

"Take a seat. It is going to be a long trip," the prince instructed and he obeyed. He sat down on the most comfortable chair he swears he has ever sat on. He leaned his head back on the seat and relaxed into the softness of the seat. With his eyes closed, he smiled at the life that awaited him at the palace.

His eyes weren't closed for long as he opened them when he felt his chair vibrating. He found the prince pressing some buttons on the arms of his seat. "What are you doing?" he asked enjoying the massage from the chair.

"The red button is for a massage, blue is in case you are hungry, green for a pillow and blanket in case you feel sleepy, brown to turn the chair into a bed, orange if you want to move around the room, orange for entertainment if you get bored," he said and walked away from Landon. He took a seat on his chair and pressed a few buttons at the same time.

Different compartments in the chair opened. He took a pillow and placed it behind his head covered himself with a blanket and a red drink with a straw which he placed on his lips and closed his eyes and drank from the glass slowly.

"So cool," Landon said in mesmerized by the technology of the chair. "If only earth had such a chair, people would kill for it. It is practically a ticket to be lazy" he thought and leaned back on the chair and went back to relaxing.
