ALEX INSTRUCT DIANDRA CONCERNING THE GATE

Sitting up on the bed Champ hold around her neck as she stood up holding his leg at the both sides. "Let mummy fix her baby his favorite food."

"Honey, is it safe for you to carry him down the stairs?"

"Yes, I will be all right," leaving Alex still lying on the bed and walk out the room. In the kitchen Diandra rest Joash on top of the counter to sit.

"Let mummy see if it have everything to make your pancake."

Taking out the ingrediencies resting it on the counter top, hearing Champ saying. Flour, sugar, mummy what is this?"

"That is salt."

"And this mummy?"

"That is baking powder."

Opening the refrigerator taking out eggs, milk and butter. Hearing him repeating the ingrediencies.

"That is very good Champ, now tell mummy did my baby pray this morning?"

Hearing him laugh, "No Mummy, Mummy, Papa did not pray?"

"Okay, but you have to pray now for your Papa."

"Yes, mummy and Granma and Granpa to."

"Yes honey, you go ahead and pray now."

As Diandra mix the pancake mixture, she listens to him pray. Glimpsing Alex standing at the kitchen entrance while he prayer.

When the phone rings, seeing him silently walk away to answer it. Hearing him asking, "When did that happen?"

Diandra realized he had closed the door, so she won't hear his conversation. 'Well, they must be letting him know what had occurred during the night.'

Ten minutes later he enters the kitchen. I was halfway through making the pancake. His face looks a bit disturb, but she wasn't going to asks? She could be completely wrong and say or ask the wrong question.'

"Alex, what will you prefer scramble eggs, or omelets for breakfast?"

"What are you having?"

"I will be having pancake."

"Then please fix me an omelet, if that is not a problem."

Finishing the pancake Diandra said, "I have one problem."

"And what problem might I ask is that?"

"I don't have any toothbrush, do you think Melissa bought any for us?"

"You could use mine." He smile knowing he ask her to buy toothbrush for the both of them. When she leave the cooking, and went to store away the groceries.

Hearing her saying, "I only hope Melissa bought us toothbrush."

Alex stood up and came assisting her to store the supplies. "Honey, I will store the supplies and you can finish fixing the meal."

Busying herself preparing the vegetables for his omelets, hearing him say, "Oh dear, look here the problem is solve."

"God bless Melissa, she is a life saver, and I see she thinks about everything." Diandra replies, then turns to him saying, "Alex, can you take him and brush his teeth while I finish up here?"

"Honey, I have never done that before."

"It is not hard he will follow you, only you will have to help him rinse his mouth, and wash his face."

Completing the meal, Diandra hears the phone ringing. Alex calls out, "Honey, I will get that, and my son is coming to you."

When Champ came, "Honey, let mummy see your teeth." As he opens his mouth, "That is excellent, it looks clean did your Papa help you?"

"Mummy, I brush my teeth like Papa."

"Okay, you did good my little one, now you can eat."

Putting him on the chair and cut the pancake adding the syrup. "Look sweetie, mummy have your foodie ready."

Taking her breakfast and covering Alex's plate on the counter, Diandra, sits at the table next to the child and eat feeding him now and again.

We had finish eating and was drinking our milk when Alex enters the kitchen.

Seeing their plate clean and they were drinking their milk. "Alex your breakfast is cover on the counter." Diandra said.

"Thanks," taking his plate then sit with them. "Alex!" noticing him look at her, "Alex, is everything alright?"

Seeing him smile saying, "Yes, this omelet is delicious, you know it has been a while since I have tasted a delicious omelet like this."

"Alex, I wasn't asking about the food, you seem distracted has something happen?"

"No, no, everything is fine, I was wondering when did you went and bought clothes?"

"Yesterday when the both of you was asleep, but why do you ask, I thought you knew that?"

"Look as you know, I don't have the van, but if you need something or want to go out, you can call Melissa at the office, and she will arrange a driver to take you around, and do your errands."

'He isn't saying anything, but it seems he is aware of what had occurred last night, and he is worried about us.'

"Alex, there is no need for that now, I already get the few pieces of clothes I needed, and I was just out to get the vegetable for the soup.

It was good that you get Melissa to make the groceries though, so I have no need to leave the house now."

"Papa eggs," feeding him Alex realized this was not strange to him. 'He has been feeding the child for almost three months.

Making sure that every day it had bean and macaroni in his box. In-fact this is not new, but a joy.

This is my son and now he is home with me.' Stroking his face then look at Diandra, Alex notices she seems so lost in her thought.

Completing his meal, then said, "Honey, I have to run an errand, so I call Melissa and she will send an officer with one of the company vehicle.

They will be here in a while to take me to the office. When I leave please don't open the door or gate for anyone."

"Alex, I am expecting Ken to visit."

"Okay, but let him know to call before he rings the bell, so you can switch of the alarm."

"As you wish."

'What is the matter with her?' "Honey, while I was preparing the room for Sam. I decided to get an electrician to ensure that the property is secure."

"That was a good decision, now I feel much more safer inside."
