Seventh Quest Complete

At the Adventurer's Building.

Vivian entered the main hall and was immediately greeted by Felize, Torr and Gaze who were waiting for her there.

"Priestess Vivian," the trio said and bowed.

"You're already fine?" Vivian asked Felize and Torr.

Although their faces weren't pale, their cheeks were still a bit sunken and they both had dark and heavy eyebags. However, Felize looked better.

"Yes, Priestess," both kids said.

"Priestess, are you here to submit your quest items? Let us handle it for you," offered Gaze.

"Yes, thank you," Vivian said and gave him the small sack.

Gaze looked at Torr and they immediately went over to the Quest Rewards counter and joined the line, leaving Felize with Vivian.

Vivian turned around and looked for a seat.

So found a group of seats where there weren't that many people around and sat there.

"Please let me sit with you, Priestess," Felize and bowed before sitting.

"You don't have to be that formal, you know."

"But Priestess --"

Vivian raised a hand, indicating her to stop.

Vivian turned to Pana's counter.

She was busy talking to an adventurer.

Even around this time, someone is asking about quests…?

It was already late in the afternoon, a time when most adventurers would return from doing a quest.

Or perhaps it's about something else…?

"So how's your Magic Art training? Did you get stronger?"

Felize was caught in a surprise by Vivian's sudden question, but she was able to immediately recompose herself and answered.

"Gaze accompanied me this afternoon at the forest to practice using [Fire Arrow] and I was able to kill a few monsters with it."

"Good, good. And the other boy?"

"Torr? He said he spent the whole day resting, but I think he also spent some time burning himself in order to open his [Fire Mastery] as fast as he could because my sister told me that she heard him getting scolded by his parents this afternoon while Gaze and I were away."

These kids are neighbors…?

"I see. Do you know what are the towns and villages down south?"

Felize thought about it for a moment.

"I know all of the towns but I don't know all of the villages. I'm very sorry, Priestess," she said apologetically and bowed.

"Is it common here for everyone not to know all of the surrounding villages?"

"I'm very sorry, Priestess, but I'm not sure."

"Stop keep saying sorry. It can be irritating to hear, including the bowing. You must learn when to say the right words and do the right things at the right time. It's all about balance."

"Yes, Priestess."

"Tell me what are the towns and villages you know down south."

Felize thought about it for a minute, specifically about the villages.

"For towns, there's two: Grain Town which is the nearest and then Gallow Town. Meanwhile, for the villages, as far as I know, there's Juni Village, Flora Village and Saya Village."

"I see. Do you know where I can buy a map?"

"What kind of map? This continent or this world?"

Vivian knitted her brows.

What…?

People --

Oh, right…

Yeah, I guess it makes sense…

There's no smartphones here….

"This continent."

"There are basic maps being sold at shops, but the best ones are at the Temple of Thieves and Temple of Hunters worth 5 silvers."

"Basic maps?"

"Yes, it only highlights the countries, cities and some towns. But if you want a more a map with more details, it will cost more."

"I see."

Damn…

I never thought it would be this inconvenient…

"I have more one question: Are there vessels here that can travel in the air or sea?"

Felize was confused about the strange question but paid it no mind and still tried her best to answer.

"There are boats for the sea and there are flying monsters tamed by the Temple of Tamers."

"There are no sea monsters tamed?"

"There are, but people prefer boats because they can carry more things."

"I see..." Vivian said and then thought deeply before following up with another question. "Are there dragons here?"

"Dragons? You mean, Draghorns?"

Vivian eyes blinked.

"What does a Draghorn look like?"

"It's a reptile with wings that can fly. And some Draghorns can use magic."

"Are they big?"

"According to legends, they could be as large as a castle. But now, the biggest is only as big as a house."

"I see."

Vivian noticed a female Gold Rank adventurer carrying a bow and arrow on her back along with a dagger on her thigh heading her and Felize's way.

"Hi!" the female adventurer greeted and waved.

"If it's about partying, my head hurts right now and I'm not in the mood to talk."

"So it's true what they said," the female Gold Rank adventurer said and smiled.

Vivian knitted her brows.

"Don't you remember me? It's me Sansa from the Gold Rank adventurer group Gold Dust."

Vivian tilted her head to the side, trying to remember who the woman was.

Is this another scam…?

She recalled the last time when a male adventurer tried to stage a fight and stepped in to "save" her from 2 cat-callers.

She remembered being so offended.

She wasn't offended because someone was trying to help her. She was offended because they thought so little of her intelligence.

As a Priest, she had first-hand experience of how many people, including nobles, merchants and adventurers wanted to be associated with her. And she was supposed to believe that 2 normal low-life humans would dare to harass a Priest in public and in front of many people?

To her, even a 5-year-old kid could think of a better plan than that.

Finally, Vivian remembered who Sansa was.

"You're that Hunter, right?"

"Yes! I'm glad you finally remembered! I got worried a bit thinking that I must have a forgettable face! Hehe!" Sansa said and then flashed a bright smile as she scratched the back of her head.

"Sorry, and I don't mean to be rude, but if you're trying to ask if I'm interested in partying, I have to decline because I honestly have so many things on my plate. Even after this I have many important businesses to attend to. I hope you will understand."

"No worries! Just wanted to say hi!"

"I see. Hello."

"I'm good. Okay, I don't want to take much of your time. Bye~!"

Sansa turned around and left.

Felize secretly glanced at Vivian.

"You're a Wizard, right?" Vivian suddenly asked without looking at her, causing her to flinch.

"Um…"

Vivian turned to her.

"What's it like to be a Wizard? Don't worry, I won't ask about your Class Magic or any important stuff."

Vivian recalled the times she was fishing for the Class Magic skills of Thief and Priest and how the staff of those establishments would only provide basic information.

Felize let out an awkward smile.

"Um… Please don't take this the wrong way, Priestess Vivian, but I guess being a Priest is similar to Wizards?"

"How come?"

"Most people who have multiple Magic Art Affinities would join either the Temple of Priests or Temple of Wizards."

"I see. So basically we're rivals?"

"No, I mean, yes, in some way, but I don't see you as a rival. After all --"

"No, it's fine. What I meant is that our Temples are the most powerful?"

"Yes…"

"I see. Do any of you already have Class Magic? You don't have to tell me the name of the skill."

"It's okay. We don't have any Class Magic yet. It hasn't been a week since we started becoming adventurers."

"Oh… I see."

Vivian recalled what Pana told her. Depending on the country, most citizens are only allowed to get a Class once they become 15 years old.

Hmm…

I wonder if Pana also has a Class…

Tch...!

There's so many things I want to ask but I can't afford to look so ignorant about this world…

If that stupid Zhey/Zhem God wanted to transmigrate me to another world, why didn't they give me basic general knowledge or at least make me younger…?

Like why…?

Seriously, why…?

And they even placed me inside a woman's body…!

And a broke one…!

Motherfucker…!

"Priestess Vivian," a male voice spoke.

When Vivian turned her head, she saw Torr.

"Is it my turn already?"

"Yes, Priestess."

"I see. Thank you."

"Yes, Priestess."

Vivian got up and went over to the Quest Rewards counter.
