"So, Sam just said that we're going on a roadtrip" Mom said.

"Yeah, and are we inviting someone in this event?" I asked.

"A beach sounds good..." Mom said

"We're going on a beach?!" I asked

"Yes, and we're inviting your friends, Sam" Dad said

"What's wrong with the beach?" Spencer asked

"What do you mean?" Mom asked

"Cause every time we're going somewhere it's always at the beach" Spencer asked.

"It's our decision, if you both Lia got married and celebrate you can decide if at the beach, or somewhere else" Mom said

When do I have to say I'm really Samantha Shay?

"Okay, if you want my friends to be there... but it depends on their decision" I replied

"Sam, your friends will say yes, you don't have to be worry about it" Mom said

"I already know that" I replied nonchalantly

"Okay, then" Mom said

"Oh I gotta go, my table is full with homeworks" I said

"Why didn't you tell me about that? I should have rescheduled the dinner" Mom said softly

"No, it's okay, we'll meet you on Saturday" I said while getting my things quickly

My mind was thinking about Mr. Johnny.

Sitting at his desk, his jaw tightened. His eyes flashed heatwaves at me. The words erupted in his mouth "What did you do yesterday? I know it's your brithday yesterday but I want to talk you after class" The final hiss in his voice warned me...

And I just realized Mr. Johnny understands people's feeling, and be always there when someone needs him. But I'm not gonna miss a one homework... he'll be disappointed at me

TOMMOROW MORNING

I was awaken with my phone alarm at 6:30 AM. Pressed the button three to four times as I remembered but I pressed the snooze instead of off. My morning was quickly ruined

Woke up at 7:00 with a class at 8:00 is hard...

I quickly walked to my mom's room and...

She's not there...

"Mom?" I called

My apartment was then filled my voice in echo as I called my mother inside my apartment

I tried to call her several times but she didn't respond. And I was also afraid to text her 'Cause what if one of my brothers reads the text and BOOM!

But then I realized I changed my number...

RING! RING! RING!

~ON THE PHONE~

"Hello?" I said

"Sammy! Are you still in your apartment?"

This is Amber... 'Sammy' is the proof

"Hi, Amber! Yes, I'm still in my apartment. Why do you ask?"

"I'm with my mom right now and she wants to meet you so I'm giving you a free ride... Well, it's always free"

"Okay, and I'm also eager to meet your mother" I said

"You can get ready, but don't worry were still in the house so, you have time to get ready... we'll be there at 7:45"

"Okay noted!"

Well, luckily someone is picking me up today

TIME CHECK: 7:19

My heart was beating like a drum when I heard the clock ticking... I quickly did what I need to do.

MINUTES LATER...

DING! DONG! DING! DONG!

"Coming!" I said in chorus

When I got outside of my apartment, I saw Amber's mom staring at Amber or something

"Amber, is your mom okay?" I asked while looking at her mother

"Oh, she's just excited to meet you" She replied

When her mom saw us both she quickly got out from her car and start running to us

"Are you Samantha Shay, my daughter's been talking about?" Amber's mom asked while panting

"Mom, why did you run? We can just go there at the car" Amber said

"I'm just excited to meet her, you're right... she's really beautiful" Her mom replied while touching and sniffing my hair

"Your hair smells good!" She added

"Thanks." I replied

INSIDE THE CAR

"So, how long did you live here on Seattle?" Amber's mom asked

"Since I was kid... like 16 years?" I replied

"You only lived in Seattle? You didn't lived in Colorado, San Francisco, Los Angeles?" She asked

"I do lived in California and LA" I replied

"Oh, so where are your parents?" She asked

"They're in California" I replied

I'm not sure, to be exact

"Oh, why didn't you study there since your family is there?" She asked

"I did, I studied there... 4th to 6th grade. But then I transferred after I graduated elementary" I replied

"But why? What happened?" She asked

"Mom, what are you doing?" Amber asked

"What? I just wanna know her past" She replied

"Can't you just ask her what's important?"

"So, your name is Samantha Shay, is that only your name?" She asked

"No, my name is long but I usually use Samantha Shay than my real name" I replied

I covered my ear after I said my word

The car stopped...

"Samantha Shay is not your real name?!" They both asked in chorus

"My real name is Samantha Kira Nicole Shay" I replied like nothing happened

Well, nothing happend actually, but I'm calmed when I replied

"WOW! That's the greatest name I've ever heard" Amber said

"What about our names?" Her mother asked

Amber looked at her

"Mrs. Cooper, we're getting late" I said

"Oh yeah"

*Engine starts*

AT THE SCHOOL

"Sam, are you done with our group homework?" Alex asked

"Yes, why?" I asked

"Like, all of it?" He asked again

"Yes, why?" I replied

"wooh! we're saved" He said

"Can you tell me why?" I asked

"Shayne had our most reports for today, thankfully you're there incase of something and his back hurts and his head and also he got wounds on his arms... I guess it's because of the earthquake yesterday and is your foot okay?" Alex replied

Poor Shayne... His back hurts and got injured because of me. But for what I remembered he only got hit with my books... maybe he also got hit somewhere while I'm not there

"Yes, but where is he now?" I asked

"He's in the same hospital where we put you yesterday" He replied

"Can we go there?" I asked

"His sister is there, and we can go there after class, his sister had a work" He replied

RING! RING! RING!

"Class starts, let's go!" Tyler said

AT THE CLASSROOM

"Good morning, class. Did you felt the earthquake yesterday?" Mr. Johnny asked

"Yes, sir!" We all replied

"By the way, Alex" He said

"Yes, sir?" Alex replied

"Is Shayne okay?" He asked

"Yes, he's in recovery right now" Alex replied

"This is all my fault" I said

Alex looked at me and replied "No, it's not, Sam... stop being so dramatic"

"Why? What happened?" Mr. Johnny asked

"He covered me when after shocks happened... but wait, where's Elle?" I replied

"Oh, yeah where's Elle?" Tyler asked

"Maybe she's at the hospital with Shayne" I replied

"Yep, that's what couples do, always stay by their side no matter what happens" Tyler said

"Okay, before that I have someone coming here and she will be your new classmate" Mr. Johnny said

"Wait, isn't that the girl we've talked about yesterday?" I asked Amber

She nodded

"Ms. Roberts, you may come in" Johnny said

As the new student came in, the room was totally silent, all the boys were staring at the girl...

She's cute by the way...

Her ocean blue eyes glistened with joy, her blonde hair bounced in each step and the boys were staring at her except Tyler and Alex... the two were staring at me and also Johnny but he's looking at his phone...

"Did I do something?" I asked

"Nope, we can't love another girl, it's only you" Alex said

"So, Ms. Roberts, you may introduce yourself" Johnny said to her

"Hello, I'm Jerrah Marie Roberts, nice to meet you" She said

"Jerrah? not a bad name" Amber said

"Her ocean eyes are catchy!" Amber added

"Yep, but Sam is beautiful than her" Tyler said

"Guys, stop! I know you both had a crush on me and hearing your thoughts at me is much appreciated" I said to them

"Ms. Roberts, you can sit beside Ms. Shay" Johnny said

When I raised my hand she smiled and approached to me with excitement then started to giggle and said

"I'm Jerrah Marie Roberts, you are?"

"Samantha Shay" I replied

"Nope, Samantha Kira Nicole Shay" Amber interrupted

"Yep, Samantha Kira Nicole Shay, nice to meet you!" I replied to Jerrah

RING! RING! RING! (Phone call)

"Excuse me, Sir" I said to Johnny

He pointed the door and smiled as a response

AT THE HALL

Sam: "Hi, Elle! Why did you call?"

Elle: "Is the new student there?"

Sam: "Yes, her name is Jerrah Marie Roberts"

Elle: "Okay, but is it true your name is-"

Sam: "Yes, it's true"

Elle: "Is she cute?"

Sam: "Yes, she got an ocean eyes and she's blonde"

Elle: "Okay"

Sam: "By the way, how's Shayne?"

Elle: "He's okay now, He can go home tomorrow"

Sam: "Really? Okay, that's a relief!"

Sam: "Yeah, but are you okay there?"

Elle: "Yes, were fine and Shayne wants to talk to you"

Sam: "Okay, I'm waiting"

Shayne: "Hi, Sam!"

Sam: "Hi, Shayne, how you feeling now?"

Shayne: "I'm feeling good right now"

Sam: "What did the doctor said? What's the cause?"

Shayne: "Just back pains, we moved to a new house and I bend too much while carrying big stuffs"

Sam: "How about the wounds in your hands?"

Shayne: "It's the knife"

Sam: "KNIFE?!"

Shayne: "Yes, and we'll talk later after class, Johnny might be looking at you"

Sam: "Okay, bye, Shayne! take care and we'll meet you there after class"

Shayne: "Okay, you too take care"
