TO THE FUTURE!

"They will be back!"

"Back to take their position..."

"And this time no one could be able to stop them!"

"Time will turn and victory is written on their forehead!"

"Nights will return and bloodshed will be the only colour, people of Saunders will see...howling in the full moon will be the only sound be heard in this evergreen land..."

"What started out as a fight for power, has become the future of this land!"

"Fine! Fine! Stop it! "

"And no one can...no mountainous size army could stop them..."

"Stop this old witch's mouth!"

The Queen slammed her fist on the wooden table, shaking the ball of spirit that woman was dancing her fingers upon.

Every human and vampire in the hall went silent as the Queen and the witch from the Mirror Forest had eye contact for the first time.

"Is this the real Aradia of the full moon??"

The Queen questioned to her guards who she had sent to the Mirror forest to forcefully bring the witch who cursed her kingdom with nights, coming under the influence of Jamal.

The witch laughed out loud at the Queen's intervention. Celeste narrowed her eyes.

"I m my Queen, is the one who cursed this land with night and who can also lift it...."

The witch spoke out. Her white hair was dancing in the air in lines. Her nails were longer than the men's pinky finger in the hall. Her black clock was faded like the night sky.

"Then what are you waiting for, witch? Lift the curse if you value your life!"

Celeste ordered, snapping her fingers. Her beautiful, golden crown with rubies, ivory, sapphire and several gems stone embedded in it, screamed of power and dominance, seating on her redhead.

"My life is not yours to take, my Queen! "

"Every life in this land is mine to take and mine to protect, witch! With Jamal, being defeated to death by my husband, and your land being the helping hand to those traitors who destroyed the peace of this land, you all are my subject now...so indeed your life is rightfully mine to take."

Celeste spat out and the witch smirked at the foolish Queen's foolish words. She had made a fool out of everyone.

"Name it my Queen! Name what you want!"

Aradia bowed before her highness. Even when she already knew what the Queen wanted.

"Lift the nights and bring us the sun in the day and moon in the twilight!"

And in the Queen's command, the witch raised her hands up in the air, closed her eyes and her body floated up from the floor.

Everyone watched her silently as she cured the night to the daylight. Bringing back the natural cycle back.

When she opened her eyes, everyone looked outside the glass window and saw the hummingbirds coming out of their nests and flying around.

The first ray of sunlight penetrated the land of Saunders after a decade long night.

People came out of their houses, rejoicing this moment. Tears in their eyes, they looked up at the sky, the bright sun, giving light to them, the vampires, glowing under it.

"But my Queen, as the enemy will come closer, the sun will fade, days will become shorter and the nights will take over the land of Saunder again...that is when you will know...that they are here for revenge!"

The witch warned the Queen and Celeste did not give any reaction to the warning, concluding it to be some words to make her fearful and feel threatened.

The peace returned to the land of Saunder with the first sunrise. Humans and Vampires went back to living in harmony and solace.

Celeste watched the sunset from her balcony of the palace, breathing the fresh air in, eyeing her precious kingdom.

When everything felt like falling back to places, the young princess, Ambrosia did not feel so.

Her eyes and ears still could see and hear the dread and scream for life as they slaughtered her friend, Lucia.

Not more when she had heard the witch's warning. The one her mother and every other people were taking it so lightly about.

She looked up in the sky and closed it as the sun shone brightly. Hay of dust danced around in the air as the sheep ran in circles.

"Stop playing with the sheep, boy!"

The old man yelled and the young boy stood, straight on his spot. He rubbed his eyes with his hands due to the dust.

His grey eyes looked up in the sky, it was just too hot today but he had to wait and be with the cattle until the end of the day.

Yet he did not mind the tiredness of being out with the cattle all day long because in the night when everyone is asleep, he could still see the girl being killed in front of the eyes of another girl in terror and blood.

It had been five long years. Time passed too fast and smooth. The Kingdom was celebrating the Queen's hundredth thirty five birthday.

The people were in a joyous mood. Songs of merry sung by the woman as they decorated the streets with flowers and painted the beloved Queen's face on their homeland.

The chief's and the ministers danced in the palace hall, drinking vine and singing their glory song of five years of peace.

Ambrosia had gone to collect water lilies to gift her mother in the forest, edges away from the Mirror forest. It was what her father would have gifted her mother if he were here.

The Queen, dressed in her golden gown, swiping the floor, the crown, the symbol of the sovereignty of the land of Saunders resting on her head, walked towards the pedestal to greet her people.

The clock stroke four in the afternoon and just at the nick of the moment, the sun started to fade away, darkness slowly seeping in the land, swallowing the light.
