4 TO BREAK THE CYCLE!

Vampires could not reproduce if not for the magic womb, a blessing in disguise created for the vampires by the witches whoever wanted to have their own offspring but it was too expensive for the commoner vampires to afford.

Hence, the less demography of the vampires. Celeste saw the humans as useless in her army.

And soon to empower the vampires more and make them more stronger than before, she allowed them to be fed human blood directly from the source.

When the humans were reduced to the second class citizen in their own land, dissent arose, riots took over the land, peace had bid farewell long before the battles of the enemy could land.

Yet the Queen being ruthless, she showed no mercy, no consideration. She claimed that the humans seek protection from the vampires and so they must pay a tax for their protection.

Every day, one human had to be sent from every village to the town pub for the vampires to donate their blood.

Ambrosia watched her mother going nuts right before her own eyes in tension and fear.

She had no idea, why the fearless Queen was being so paranoid. In unity they could really push the forces of the enemy away but this injustice showered on the humans could divide the land.

She understood it and wanted to throw some sense in her mother's mind but it was of no use. She would not listen.

Years passed by and the nights kept nearing. The Queen grew to be more anxious, spending more time in her chambers than her throne.

And when in the fourth night, a howl was heard from a faraway land, it was the first signal from the enemy side.

"Do not stay up late in the grazing ground, try bringing the battles home before the light it out."

Mary advised Ruqui, the boy, her husband had bought home that night after the Ten years of great battle had ended.

The boy had grown up to be an excellent helper Round the house. Even though Mary treated him just like her other children, Ruqui was always bullied by his adopted siblings.

And Ruqui had gotten used to it by now, pushing and pulling by his siblings around, dropping their chores to be done by him.

So raring the battles became his favourite job, as it helped him to stay clear from his bullies.

"Will keep that in mind, madam!"

Ruqui joked and landed a swift kiss on his mother's cheeks and walked away from the village towards the grazing ground.

He always chose different spots and roamed around the kingdom, touring with the herds of sheep.

Every day, he would pass by the edge of the Mirror forests and would hear the weird noises and whispers coming from the mystical forest, he would give a deaf ear and walk by.

But today was different as he saw a figurine, standing right at the edge of the forest entry wearing a red cloak.

He was stuck in his position, watching the figure, standing on the threshold of the forest entry ground in deep thoughts or whatsoever.

As Ambrosia was about to step into the Mirror forest, she heard the creak of the dry branches and looked around.

She had seen and remained silent for too long her mother going crazy .It was about time, she had taken the matters in her own hand and be the rightful people's Princess.

It was over when her mother had thought of joining an alliance with the biggest army kingdom of the humans, The Land of Mortals.

The Alliance was to be formed under the ground if marrying her daughter, princess of Saunder to the underage prince of Mortals for the famous magic womb trait.

She had promised that if the King of Mortals would agree to land their half of the army to her, she would give away her daughter's hand to his son and she would bear him an hier that would be immortal and as powerful as a vampire.

The King was at first hesitant but then coming to deeply think about this proposal of having an heir that would be immortal and powerful, the Mortals gave in.

And it was when Ambrosia broke inside her mother's chambers and a high fight broke down between the mother and the daughter.

Ambrosia was against her promised marriage to a mortal human being. That too to an underage prince.

Because of being a vampire, she was quite older than any human born child and yet look younger in appearance.

She could not come in terms with the fact that her own mother was selling her away for an army to fight her battle.

Celeste was adamant about her decision and would not change a thing even if it meant for having a wall of argument between her daughter and herself.

After being tired of trying to inject a sense into her mother's mind, Ambrosia started looking out for help from somewhere else.

She had a belief that if she could help her mother in keeping her kingdom secured from the enemy, then she would be allowed out of this shame of a marriage alliance.

After months of trying to find a solution and becoming unsuccessful, she had no option but to come looking for one in the forest of the witches.

And that was the very reason why she was here in the very morning, standing before the Mirror forest where there could be possible solutions to all her problems.

The witches knew the remedy to every problem, every hardship and Ambrosia hoped that the witches knew her problem's cure too.

In particular, she was out to find the witch who had drawn and lifted the curse of the night...the Witch of the full moon.

She had no idea if she would be meeting her, but it was a starting. She herself had never gone inside the Mirror forest.

Nobody ever did. Not even her mother, the Great Queen who claimed the forest to be under her subject.

Not even her father or anyone else ever saw the insides of the forest. And she would be the first one to break that cycle.
