Worried About the Princess

Armista and Maximus had arrived in nakusa. There they were received by prince Rahim himself and prince Damien. It turns out prince Rahim has decided to stay with his older brother to just assist him in nakusa away from their father. Though both princes misses their father and their siblings they figured it was best for them to stay. With them there the borders actually became stronger and more fortified. The crime rates were also massively lowered. Armista and Maximus tried to pursue them multiple times to come back to the capital to help the emperor recuperate but each time the princes refused. Maximus and armista stayed in nakusa for at least a month trying to persuade them but all were in vain. There was nothing they could do but to return back to Trystia without the two princes. But the princes did promise to send a letter to they're father and they're younger siblings. Whatever may happen now Maximus and armista didn't even know what was happening to Trystia at this point. Both of the dukes were tired and restless each and every night they travelled back to Trystia's capital. They're bodies were weakened because they weren't used to the food and temperatures of nakusa. The temperatures kept changing day and night. They were all so frustrated. They forced they're selves to travel day and night but their bodies weakened even more...

At the capital lucious made sure everyone bowed and respected him. He was very strict with the ministers and made sure to give harsh punishments to them if they didn't listen to him. But he recalled something from the book "Emperor of Hell". At page 411 the late emperor Alaric stated his advice for his defendants.

" You must show your might to your subjects and make them kneel before you. But you shall also be generous and kind. If you can not just be one but have to be both. Failing one of these will make an empire fall."

So lucious just became a little more lenient and generous to the minister's. He was rather a little less strict but he made sure they knew their places. He did give them high praises if they did their job well. Once lucious took charge at the imperial Court the empire was actually getting more and more wealthier. He ordered the empty land's to be made into farms to produce food for the empire and he also ordered 5 free saplings to be planted for every tree cut down so that the empire would never run out of wood. Many other empires purchased resources from Trystia so the empire was gaining more and more funds to help feed and cloth the poor. Everyone was being aided by the lucious's smart decisions. But lucious also made sure to reward the nobles and minister's who listen to his every command. He knew that rewards are to be given when it's due. He was still very cautious though as many people was still vying for his position. Lucious did have to come across princess amaris though as lucious was always at the imperial Palace. Princess amaris was rather very quite. It was as if someone had sealed he lips shut. She wouldn't speak at all but she would eat and spend time with her brother but she refused to speak. Lucious couldn't help to be worried about the princess even if he didn't want to admit it. Lucious did care about the princesses well being so he went to emperor kishendren to tell him about what's happening to princess amaris.

Lucious: Greetings your majesty.

Kishendren: Ah lucious! What news do you bring me boy?

Lucious: Your majesty the news that I bring you today is not about the empire.

Kishendren: What? What do you mean by that?

Lucious: The news I bring to you is about your daughter princess amaris.

Kishendren:... Amaris... I haven't talked to her since Rahim and Damien left... Tell me boy what has happened to my beloved daughter.

Lucious: Your majesty I think the princess needs your attention.

Kishendren: What?

Lucious: Your majesty I think the princess has been lonely because of her brothers not being here in the capital. The servants might have not reported you the princesses condition because of fear.

Kishendren: What wrong with my daughter? Did something happen to her?!

Lucious: Not really your majesty. But princess amaris hasn't spoken a single word in months.

Kishendren: I'm sorry what?

Lucious: The princess hasn't spoken a word in months your majesty. It's as if someone had sealed her lips shut. Your majesty I my self is getting worried by her highnesses condition so I am seeking your help.

Kishendren: I have neglected her for so long... Lucious send a servant to relay a message to my daughter as I will have dinner with her later. Make sure they make all her favorite dishes understand?

Lucious: Yes your majesty. I shall take my leave now.

Kishendren: And lucious thank you for telling me about this. I shall reward you something in return. I heard you've been coming here day and night to read the book of my ancestor emperor Alaric. "The Emperor of Hell" is the books name right?
