The Moon of My Life

Hyacinth was facing a massive problem now. After he banished nyx to nandi hyacinths ministers have been trying to make him depose nyx and remarry or produce an heir with her. Hyacinth knew his most important duty was to produce an heir. He needed someone to lead the empire of he suddenly died. But he refused to depose nyx. His ministers then said he had to fulfil his duties as a husband and as an emperor. He had to go to Nandi to produce an heir. Hyacinth said with time he will have an heir but he will not yet produce one at the moment. Hyacinth demanded they drop it. But the ministers saw it as hyacinths incompetence. In their minds hyacinth was unable to perform in the marital chambers. That he was not capable to satisfy a woman and produce an heir. In all truth hyacinth didn't know what to do at all the day he got married. He didn't know what to do in the marital chambers because he was afraid he would overstep and make nyx uncomfortable. So he didn't try to touch her and respected her decisions not to be touched. He was a man of honor after all. He was very attracted to nyx the first time he saw her. But he said to himself he was a man and he should act like a man. Hyacinth then started to think if he should take in concubines or if he should depose her. He just decided to drop it and forget about it. He was still young and he was still in his prime. He felt very lonely though. He kind of missed her. Though it was just a short period of time that they've spent he liked spending time with her. He remembered whenever they'd have dinner. He remembered how excited she was to try new foods.

Flashback:

Nyx: Look at all these food! ᕕ(՞ᗜ՞)ᕗ

Hyacinth: What?

Nyx: There's so much food! Look hyacinth those desserts look so delicious!

Hyacinth: Is it your first time eating these?

Nyx: Yes... Am I weird? ╥﹏╥

Hyacinth: No! Not at all! You just seem very excited around food and it makes me feel comfortable seeing how you like the food. (´^ω^`)

Nyx: Hehehe! You should try these! They're so good!

Hyacinth: Oh you really like them?

Nyx: Yes they're the best!

Hyacinth: Oh that's good then. (*n´ω`n*)

Nyx: Why what's wrong???

Hyacinth: Nothing it's just that it looks like we have the same taste in food. That's also my favorite. (≡^∇^≡)

Nyx: Oh really?

Hyacinth: Yes. You know nyx I love spending time with you. ᐠ( ᐛ )ᐟ

Nyx: M-me too hyacinth... I actually enjoy being with you. Like a lot. I feel more comfortable when I'm around you. (*´꒳`*)

While hyacinth had to deal with those problems he still had to act like an emperor. He decided to try to make his empire more secure. He made trades with other empires. He funded the military camp. He made a foundation to feed the poor. He gave away food to children in the streets. He was even more loved by his people. He was praised by his people left and right. They sent him gifts and letters. They sent him their concerns. Whenever he'd get those letters he immediately sends men to help. Whether it's to rebuild a boat that got destroyed because of storms. Or aiding the people who is in an unbearable position. Whatever the empire needs hyacinth solves their problems and gives them their needs. Hyacinth was known as a generous ruler. But the people still feared the fact that their emperor still had no heir. But they respected their emperors decision and kept their mouths shut...

Back in Trystia empire princess amaris was still being urged by her father to marry already. Again and again he refused. Eventually emperor kishendren just decided to give up. They just made a compromise and amaris agreed to marry but her father needed to wait until she turned 18. Her brothers agreeded with her and sided with her. Emperor kishendren was so annoyed. He was being played by his 4 annoying children once again. But it also made him very happy seeing them all get along. He knew once he was gone his 3 sons would be able to protect his one and only daughter. He just wanted to see his daughter happy. But he also wanted to see his sons getting along. But he still needed to make sure whomever his daughter was gonna marry he has to be perfect for her. And to him lucious was the perfect groom for his daughter. He talked to armista about it and armista was so confused. Out of so many men who want to marry amaris why would emperor kishendren want lucious for her. Lucious had no intention whatsoever to marry right now. All in lucious's mind was to just see his sister and he had no time for women at all. Emperor kishendren just said that even if lucious and amaris don't love each other he was sure that lucious would treat her well and with respect. He stated that he also knew that if amaris asks for a divorce armista would help her. He said he just wanted to secure his sons and his daughters to be safe. Armista just let's out a sigh and agrees with emperor kishendren. He truly felt his friends worries. But he also knew that marrying lucious to princess amaris would be very beneficial. Once lucious married into Trystia's Imperial family he'll be able to garner the support of Kishendren's sons and ministers to his side. He wanted lucious to be the next emperor of Amora. He needed lucious to be the next emperor of Amora. After all the horrible things phobos has done against his wife, his son, his family...
