8 Pure Force

Isabella was seated on a bench in her garden. She suddenly had a vision of a male spirit vanishing into thin air. It zoomed to the sky like a rocket, then, came back to earth, bouncing and gliding in the air as it flew and settled beside her in the form of a man. The transparent figure embraced her tightly. Then, it glided slowly and bounced off towards heaven. She wept quietly.

She opened her eyes. The vision was gone.

It was time to take Michael to school. Parents were invited for the homeroom. They were voting for officers to lead the class. The school wanted the parents involved in the welfare of the school-children.

Isabella knew she had to be early, but market time was always first. She'd drop by a market or a grocery store. Walking along a side street, she chanced upon a charm vendor who had a gifted tongue. She liked the rainbow bracelet. But as she stood up watching the woman packed the item, she thought she saw her gnawing her nails with her pointed teeth, sniggering. Isabella shook her head. She thought she saw Jezebel. The vendor handed the bracelet.

"Do you mind putting it around my wrist?"

"Oh, no, not at all, I'd be glad to," the woman replied.

Once she wore the rainbow bracelet, the sun hid behind thick nimbus clouds. Isabella looked around. Then, she looked at the vendor. She assumed a formal expression on her face.

Then, Isabella looked up at the sky and it opened up again; sun smiled as it cast the clouds aside.

"Thank you," she heard herself saying.

She started to walk to her car. That was when Jezebel moved. Isabella was trying to open her car. She heard it bolted inside. She got her key, forced it on the car, but it remained locked. She looked behind to ask for help, but was stunned to find Jezebel across the street looking at her. She waved her hand, pointed to the rainbow object in her wrist. It shone, but, then, the opposite happened. The bracelet had the power to make Isabella weak. She felt the world turning around her. She tried to grab the handle of her car so she could get a grip of herself, and remove the bracelet. She managed to—and she removed the beautiful, expensive item in her arm.

Isabella stood erect, facing Jezebel. So, this was between the two of us. She looked straight at her. This time, she was going to vanish her. Jezebel had gone the limit of her patience.

In one swoop of her hand, Jezebel slammed on a wall, her buttocks hitting the ground ahead.

She never knew that Isabella was that powerful. She was looking for help. She was looking for Bella. Bella must be somewhere, buying.

There—coming towards them was Bella with her cheeky grin. Sure, she shopped. This timeline was good. There were many new items they didn't have at the wolf-dom. She was amazed at the evolving infrastructures, and so, she lingered in her shopping.

When she saw Jezebel, her eyebrows raised.

She wasn't at all surprised at what she saw. She had sort of expected a showdown. And she kind of laughed at the sight of Jezebel on the floor because of the impact of the force by which she was thrown.

Bella had prepared for this.

She dropped her shopping bag on the floor and looked at Isabella. Then, the bohemian waved her hand, casting a spell.

The luna wolf did not have to transfigure into her wolf form. She had natural magic born out of her mother's womb.

Isabella's arms were wide open. She was looking down, whispering a prayer.

Then, the dark force that was supposed to engulf her whole being was blocked by a beam of light, so bright that the dark object was unable to penetrate. It slowly moved backward to where Bella stood up. As it swallowed her up, the witch burned, and vanished into thin air.

Isabella looked at the thin dark spirit that spiraled down under the ground.

There's only Jezebel that was left.

Jezebel had managed to stand up. Her evil eye stared in the direction of Isabella. She had to be better, she knew.

Now, she positioned herself for another fight. She set her legs apart, the right foot forward. Arms akimbo.

Another spell--It hit Isabella in her stomach. She was falling, but she tried her best not to fall.

It was time to vanish Jezebel. She wouldn't give her another chance to intrude into her life, not in the life of her family.

Jezebel was preparing for another spell, but Isabella was quicker. She spread her arms wide, then said her quiet prayers.

As Jezebel poured her dark spirit in the market, a radiant white light covered the gas-like grayish particles that emanated from the witch. The sky again darkened. The spirit hovered around.

Isabella and Jezebel stood against each other.

There was a commotion. The fire alarm sounded and people tried to run for their own bucket of water to at least help quell the fire.

However, as soon as the white beam of light replaced the spreading dark energy, the fire alarm stopped blaring. Fire had been contained.

Sooner, Jezebel became another thin dark air that spiraled down under the earth.

The parents' homeroom meeting was almost concluding when she arrived in the school and she could see Michael's anxiety on his face as he waited for her because she promised she would be early. The homeroom was Michael's last class.

"You failed again."

"Sorry sweetheart, mommy, not perfect."

The teacher told her and Michael to stay a little so she could brief them about the meeting. They had all agreed on holding a fair. Different rides would be allowed to operate inside the school campus during its anniversary. Parents were invited.
