6 The witchers are back

Bella and Jezebel were alive.

Everyone thought they were buried deep under the ground. Not yet.

Fire may have eaten up the entire mansion. By the stroke of luck, the bad witches stumbled upon a secret sanctuary in the banquet hall while ducking from the huge fire that was eating up the place. It was a place surrounded by a stone structure, like a cave that was built under the ground.

They were laughing. They knew that the fight wasn't over yet with Tatin and Isabella.

"You will have to endure our power," Bella said, looking at Tatin and Isabella in the mirror.

Michael was five years old.

One day, Isabella told Eleanor to take him to school, so she had his backpack and uniforms prepared; had him eat his cereal, and off, nanny and ward started to walk to school which was a few kilometer distance from home.

Isabella was playing tennis and Aaron, Josh, and Suzy had left for work.

Michael enjoyed walking to school because he knew that he would be passing by a public library and that there were many children's books there that nanny Eleanor could read to him. He had been learning to read. He knew that they would pass by a public park where he loved to run around and play hide-and-seek with either Ellie or Eleanor. He would do all these things after school. He would ask nanny Eleanor to drop by. He would come to know other kids who frequented the library or the park. He was excited. He had always been happy meeting people.

The class wasn't that long. It took three hours as usual. Before time was up, other parents or guardians of school-children waited at the lobby to fetch them back home. Others had school buses. Michael wanted a school bus but dad preferred that he be attended to by Isabella, Ellie or Eleanor. Sometimes, Aaron drove them. Sometimes, Isabella drove them. Sometimes, they walked depending on Isabella's instructions.

Eleanor and Michael had been walking in the park. School was a walk-in-the-park. Michael loved school. It was second home to him. However, the sky was overcast today. There were not many people and kids like him.

Michael was in the swing when a beautiful woman appeared.

"Hi."

"Hello," Michael replied.

"Would you like me to swing you?"

Michael was hesitant, but he said anyway: "Okay."

As she pushed and pulled the rope, Michael was enjoying, but later, he noticed that it was becoming stronger—and too stronger later on that he had to tell the lady to stop, but she wouldn't.

"Eleanor!" he shouted.

Eleanor was catnapping, but was nonetheless jolted up by Michael's voice.

"Eleanor, help!" Michael shouted the second time. The woman had an evil grin this time as Michael held tight to the iron rope.

Another woman not far was laughing harshly.

When Jezebel saw that Eleanor stood up to get Michael, she and Bella disappeared. Eleanor took his ward off from the swing and hugged him tightly as he wept.

"Who are they nanny?" he was still crying.

"I have no idea… some mischievous people maybe. Let's go."

Isabella was home when they arrived. She really waited for them every day as she would ask Michael what he learned from school. But that day, he wouldn't answer. He neither hugged her upon arrival. He had no appetite to have a snack. She asked Eleanor what happened and she told her.

Isabella went to Michael's bedroom.

"I am your mom. I would do everything in my power to protect you."

She came closer to his bed. "Look at me." She held and straightened him out on the bed. "Give me a hug." Michael was hesitant at first. "Starting tomorrow, I will be the one to take you to and back from school."

Michael smiled. "Who are those women mom?" He asked, curiously.

"I really don't know son. Eleanor was right. They were maybe some wicked hags."

"Hags???" His eyes widened. He only read that in fairy tales.

Isabella chortled. "Well, the first thing that dad thought you was to be brave, right, even as a boy?"

He looked at her smiling and said, "I am."

She took him downstairs and had him eat his snack.
