Hello Grandfather

"Mason, Mason" I heard my name as I was being shaken.

"Come on Mason get up" I could hear Darius say.

"Ahhhhhhh" I got another jolt of pain going through my body as I began to wake up.

" I'm getting up" I say

"Are you okay" Sophia asked as she called over Marcella.

"I don't know" I said as I looked down at my wrist. It was glowing bright red.

"It seems as if you have awakened your magical abilities, although I never saw anyone feel pain to awaken them" said the old man as he was kneeling near me.

"Can you tell me what you think of demons" I asked as Marcella started to heal me.

"Why demons are the most feared beings they kill others. Although there are some who believe that they are only defending themselves. They say they look like monsters and we take them for that so that's why we kill them. Lest to say who knows who's in the right or wrong" says the old man as he gets up.

"I don't think all of them are true demons," I say as I get up and walk outside.

~ Why didn't I think of this. If it wasn't recorded as a human mark then it must have been a different race.~ I thought as I walked over to the receptionist.

"Can I register as an adventurer for the White Wolves, and can I take a mission on a demon" I asked as she handed me a paper to fill out.\

"Demon what are you talking about. You're barely about to register and you'll be an f rank, demons are c,b,a,s,ss,sss, and Divine ranks" she says with a concerned look.

She didn't say any more as I handed over the paper. She gave me my Guild card and I told her to tell the others that I need to do something and I'll be back in a month.

I walked out the guild hall and headed towards the Demon Empire To learn more about myself.

It's been two weeks since I left, and I've practiced my abilities and skills earning four skills. { Evil Eye } It exposes invisible things and gives out the true intentions of others.

{ Void } It opens a hole to store my equipment and other things rather than having it stored in a void ring.

{ Hell's fire } It burns everything it touches including other flames.

And { Automatic regeneration } It heals me in seconds when I get Injured.

For my abilities I have mastered the flight ability, invisibility, phantom creator, fast step, and holy light of the fallen goddess.

I reached the Demon Empire a lot faster when I used fast step. The guards tried to kick me out until I showed them my mark in which they bowed and let me enter.

I walked around to see that there were demons that looked a lot like humans but they all had a pentagram on their right hands and a mark on their left wrist that was kinda the same but could be told that it was a lower ranked one.

As I started to walk around many demons kept an eye on me until one of the demon knights came to me.

"Say what's a human doing in the demon Empire" He asked sarcastically.

"Get out of my way, you're just a knight, your mark is completely lower than mine" I say as I show him it.

Of course, just like the guards at the gate he bowed down.

"Get up and take me to my grandfather, King Nightmoon" I say as I walk toward the castle.

"Of course young lord" He says as he gets up and leads the way.

We walked around for a while until we got to the entrance of the castle in which I had to show my mark to the guards that were stationed in front of the door.

We walked into the throne room which had a group of people in what seemed to be a wedding ceremony. The guards And knights bowed down while I walked over to the throne.

"Tell me more about my mother" I say as I sit down on the throne. The people seemed enraged and shocked as I easily sat down on the throne in front of the demon king.

"Of course after you finish this ceremony" I say.

"Don't worry you didn't interrupt it just finish" Ether spoke and walked over to me. "Everyone I'd like to introduce you to my grandson Mason Nightmoon" Everyone in the room seemed shocked as the words went out of his mouth and into their ears.

(-note due to Mason being kicked out of the Airblace family he no longer has the Airblace name and sense he's a demon he'll start going by Nightmoon when he's in demon territory.)

"This is the son of Princess Miela Nightmoon In which she transferred his life force into the woman who killed my daughter" Ether spoke to the demons in the room.

"Wait so he's my nephew?" Said the bride who's claiming to be my aunt.

"Yes Emilina he's your nephew" Ether answered as he looked at the rest of the people in the room.

"Well then happy to have my nephew at my wedding day" Emilina says as she hugs me.

"Me too" I say, hugging her back.

"I can only stay here for a bit and the people I'm travelling with don't know where I'm at. So do you mind teaching me some magical abilities or skills" I ask Ether.

"Of course we'll have some people train you," Ether said as he called over a guard that was nearby.

"Have Deathmanta teach him some skills," ordered Ether.

About three weeks later.~It's been a while now since I left White Wolves. I should probably head back now~ I thought as I was leaving the arena where Deathmanta taught me a few dozen skills and magic spells.

"Let's try this one. Gateway" I say pointing in the air. A portal opened up as I continued "Take me to the White Wolves guild in the Mavmist Kingdom '' I step forward through the portal and end up in front of the Guild.

As I walked inside the guild and walked over to the receptionist opened up the void and dumped all the herbs and crystals that I collected while I was at the Demon Empire.

"Holy crap these are found in A ranked areas" She said as she looked through the herbs and crystals.

"Hey I never got your name" I say as I grabbed a muffin on the counter.

"It's Catherine" She says as she counts up the crystals " How did you get all these?" She asked.

"It's the stuff I got when I went out for a month" Storta telling the truth.I collected these on the second day of being in the Demon Empire.

"Where've you been Mason" Asked Marcella as she came in with her teammates.

"I've been learning some new things" Answering honestly.

"Ok Mason you went from being an f rank to an A rank and you got a hundred million crimson coins" Catherine said as she handed over three bags full of coins.

"A hundred million, how the heck did you earn that much in a month, I barely make two hundred thousand a year" Marcella says as she slumped down on the nearest table.

"I met a distant family who taught me a few thing to get these so I could jump through the ranks"

I sat near her as she told me about the mission she had just finished. She was telling me about her close encounter with Icial, one of the twelve demon generals. Saying that he wiped out an entire kingdom.

I heard about this. The reason Icial wiped out the entire kingdom was because they kidnapped and nearly violated his daughter in order to gain food from the king after they burned down their own fields and blamed it on the demons. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

"He saw us as we came upon the ruins, he was about to attack until he looked back and just walked away" she said.

She was about to say some more when one of the adventurers came running through the doors.

"I need help my comrades were being attacked by the Airblace and Flamegila"he said as he collapsed to the ground.

As soon as the name Airblace left his mouth I jumped out of my seat and ran straight towards the sound of explosions.

~You'll pay for what You've done to my mother and the innocent people~ I say to myself as I get near the countryside.

"Noooo don't" yelled a voice.

I looked as I saw that wretched queen thrust a wind dagger into Darius' chest.

At that moment something deep inside me snapped as I felt rage. The rest of White Wolves must have felt it as they ran as far away from the area.

"NIGHTBLADE FALLEN GOD, DARK STRIKE" I yell as the darkest energy rushed towards the queen striking her and thrusting spears from within her.

"Mother nooo" shouted Tyson as he came running over kneeling down to his fallen mother.

"Tyson, how have you been It hurts to see your own mother die doesn't it" I say as I formed a sword with the blood that was all over the place.

" What the hell Mason shes your mother.."

"My mother died, rather killed by her luckily she transferred me into her body at the last second otherwise I'd be dead."

"I'll kill you, you bastard" He rushed at me with a Wind blade.

"I felt so much pain watching the past unfold before my eyes as she killed my mother. I don't want to kill you but you know what you're doing is wrong so join her and go to hell. Hells fire" I shout, throwing the flames as it hit him and burned all the remains of the Airblace carriage.

"You think you pathetic fires can burn me for I am the crowned prince from the Flamegila family" he said as the flames were surrounding his carriage. I start to walk away as he shouts at me to come back.

The rest of the guild members just made way for me as the prince screamed when he tried to walk through the fire.

~ I don't want my sisters to get killed so I'll leave them out of it, same with father~ I thought as the rest of the flames burned the prince. " Extinguish" at once the flames vanished leaving nothing but the burnt earth.

"It seems as I might turn into my worst enemy" I say as I walk back towards the guild.
