006 First battle of Geonosis

Like Yoda said, the council will find out by themselves and he wouldn't throw us into the pit. The next couple days, Selena tried to become closer but I denied her approaches. She was upset but knew that I was doing it to keep her safe. Ahsoka came back some time later and said that she made her own lightsaber. We congratulated her and I offered to help them with learning lightsaber forms.

Ahsoka chose the fourth form, Ataru. Selena had been learning the first four forms for some time and had achieved some mastery in it. I brought them back to the courtyard and started to teach them the moves and techniques of the various forms.

The next two years, were of constant practice against me. Selena mastered the first six forms and I would help spar with her to teach her how to defend herself and disarm, if not kill her opponents. Ahsoka had complete mastery over Ataru and just needed some real experience like Selena. In order to get this realistic experience, I would go and attack them using half of my true strength. Even so, they would be defeated in just one or two moves. It didn't take long for them to get used to an intense combat scenario. But, they still couldn't defeat me.

"We give up" Selena breathed for air.

"We won't be able to beat you" Ahsoka complained.

The two girls are completely soaked in sweat. Every single time, they have fought me repeatedly but didn't manage to win once. Even though I would also be a little bit tired by the end of it, they were completely sweating and had to constantly breathe in for air.

"Girls, I'd like to say that you can beat most Jedi except for the grandmaster in terms of fighting strength" I told them "You have officially and barely reached a quarter of my full strength, keep trying harder"

"awwww" Ahsoka groaned

"What?" I asked "It's not so easy you know, I've only fought you using half my strength the entire time"

"Why must you bully us?" Selena complained

"Alright girls, you might want to get some rest for today" I smiled

If I calculated correctly, the Battle of Geonosis would start in a day or two. We will probably added into the Jedi Strike team.

"Yandi, the high council wants you and Selena for a meeting" A Jedi came over and told us

"We'll be there in a minute" I told him

He nodded and left.

Selena panicked and looked at me with worry.

"Ahsoka, go back first. We might not be back for a while. Take this time to train properly"

Ahsoka nodded and left.

"Let's go, Selena" I nodded

She followed me but I could feel the worry coming from her.

"Don't worry, they might not be here for us. It might just be a mission instead" I reassured her

She nodded after hearing that but I could still feel her worry. I moved my hand to hold hers. I could hear her heart beating rapidly as he face became red and flustered. I smiled and led her to the room for a meeting. I let go and waited for her to calm down before we walked in.

The room was crowded with over forty something Jedi and over a hundred or so outside waiting.

We were given the report of the Geonosians holding Padme and the others hostage. We were to go and and save them while taking out Dooku.

"We will infiltrate the Arena and hopefully free Senator Amidala and our two Jedi as we take down Dooku" Mace Windu told us

Soon we were separated into groups to secure certain locations. Me and Selena were to secure the Senator and Obiwan. After discussing their plans, in which I found useless and unnecessary as I knew what would happen, we went to our Delta 7s and took off. Last year, I helped modify Selena's Delta 7 and gave her an astromech. We called him R4. Unbeknownst to Selena, I modified the droid and gave it a completely new chip that messed with it's protocols. It would do the utmost to protect Selena in anyway possible. I also included several blasters and flamethrowers in the droid.

Our Deta 7s took off for Geonosis, where we arrived in two days. We landed our ships and we continued to infiltrate the arena. Selena was right next to me.

"If things go wrong, follow me" I told her

"ok" She nodded

It didn't take long before everyone revealed themselves. We jumped down onto the field and gave Anakin and Obiwan their lightsabers. It didn't take long for the battle droids to come swarming out and firing at us. Jedi were being put down one by one. I didn't care and did my best to protect Selena. I had two lightsabers and dual wielded them to deflect the incoming blaster bolts. Secretly touching Selena's clothes, I sent some nanomaterials to protect her incase she gets shot.

Selena was getting better at defending herself and deflecting the incoming bolts of blaster fire. There were certain cases where she nearly messed up but I was there to help her. Soon, only a few of us were left standing, everyone else was dead.

"Surrender and your lives will be spared" Dooku told us

"We will not be hostages to be bartered Dooku" Mace Windu refused

"then I'm sorry old friend" With that, the droids readied their weapons.

As everyone else was getting ready to resist, Padme looked up into the sky and said "Look"

LAAT Gunships came down and started firing down on the droids. Dooku left after seeing the clones. We boarded the gunships and were being transported to the front lines.

We were informed that we were to lead a group of men on the offensive. I immediately sensed Selena's worry. "You'll do fine" I smiled "I'll join up with your group and assist you"

It didn't take long before we were being shot at. Her anxiety went up. I grabbed her hand and held it. Just as she started to relax, a LAAT gunship was shot down causing her anxiety to flare up again.

It didn't take long before we landed in the assembly area.

"Sir we have 2 squads of commandos awaiting your orders" A clone officer told us

"Good" I nodded

I waited for Selena who were assigned two squads of regular clones. As I waited for her, I checked on my commando units. They were given standard clone armor and not the specialized ones that the other commandos wore. I can sense their hate for the Jedi.

"Boys, I am your commander for now" I looked at them "I understand that you are built differently than other clones. The other Jedi are throwing away lives, I will try to protect yours. We will not engage in a direct confrontation like the others. Instead we will try to find cover behind the walkers. Understood?"

"Yes, Sir" The replied

"Good, I will do my best to bring everyone here back alive" I told them "I hope you will have my back in this battle too. Another two squads of regular troopers will be joining us. Any suggestions, feel free to speak them now"

I can somehow feel a slight respect from them. Increasing morale to your troops is important in a battle. It increases their combat effectiveness as well as gain the respect from them to carry out your orders.

It didn't take long before Selena met up with our group and I led them towards the front of the battlefield, towards a down walker where it could provide cover.
