Uncle Shizi

The past five years have been a transformative journey for Bai Jian.

Inheriting a Divine level Immortal Cultivation Technique, even if isn't the entire technique that was passed on, it's still a little handful for Bai Jian, it had forced him into an intensive period of learning and growth, with the fear of the unknown.

He took it upon himself to try and master a multitude of basic martial arts and movement martial arts even if they didn't really improve his strength overall.

He wanted to master dozens of new cultivation techniques, breathing exercises, and movement skills. Additionally, he delved into the intricacies of various martial arts, including fist, palm, and sword techniques.

One of the most significant treasures he acquired during this time was the Bai Clan's Divine Level - {[Immortal Dao Scripture]} It was an all-encompassing scripture that held the knowledge, history, and insights of the Bai Clan's cultivation practices.

But because it was Scripture, it encompassed everything within it, it had its own breathing Technique and cultivation that matched and went together like Yin and Yang, opposites that attracted.

It came with a set of Movement steps, Sword and Fighting movement techniques that could only be used in conjecture with the corresponding White Flame Sword Strike and Great White Jade Fist Technique as well as a Minor Immortal Soul Flame Technique that was special, as it didn't just help control the user's soul, but helped it grow and foster in strength, and finally, it included a Soul Eyes Technique that could help the user see through illusions and arrays and fog, smoke and other objects like X-Ray vision.

To Bai Jian this Scripture was an all-encompassing idea that brought to the table that if time, money, and hard work could help make something that had all the techniques the user ever needed deleting every chance of them using the wrong technique that could slow down or impede the user future cultivation growth, He delved into it, like a fish out of water dying of thirst, and he was dying for knowledge, learning the fundamental principles of using Spirit Qi and honing his skills.

As the years passed, Bai Jian underwent a noticeable physical transformation.

He had grown into a striking young man, his height surpassing 170 centimeters.

His hair cascaded down to his waist, and his face bore a striking calm deminor and his eyes carried a wisdom beyond his years. His eyes, in particular, held a profound otherworldly gaze, as if they carried the knowledge of a different realm.

His body, when closely examined, radiated a unique aura.

It showcased the Sacred Immortal Spirit Qi, flowing in a mesmerizing galaxy-Blackgray color with shades reminiscent of stars. While Bai Jian didn't always reveal it, this aura hinted at the incredible power he held within, a testament to his relentless training and pursuit of mastery.

With his newfound knowledge and abilities, Bai Jian was prepared to face the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead, eager to continue his journey as a cultivator within the Bai Clan.

The past five years had been a crucible of growth for Bai Jian, shaped by the powerful and volatile environment of the Bai Clan. He vividly recalled the events that had led him to this moment—a path filled with challenges and transformative experiences.

At the age of seven, he had faced a harrowing encounter with bandits who had sought to raid the Bai Clan. The incident had tested his mettle, forcing him to confront danger head-on. It was an early lesson in resilience and the need to protect his family and clan.

Within the Bai Clan itself, he had encountered several bullies, some of them distant relatives, while others were closer in lineage. These confrontations had been both physical and verbal, pushing Bai Jian to stand up for himself and develop the strength to deal with internal discord.

Amidst these struggles, he had the opportunity to meet a Bai Clan member who worked as a merchant outside Jade Island. This meeting opened Bai Jian's eyes to the broader world beyond the clan, exposing him to diverse experiences and different ways of life.

One particularly memorable event took place in Fang Cloud Dockyard, in Langyu City. A visit from pirates had disrupted the peaceful city, leading to a confrontation. Bai Jian had stood his ground and fought against a pirate, determined to protect his home and community.

During this fight, he met another pirate cultivator in the Foundation Stage, who had taken refuge in the city. The skirmish was intense and long, with the two cultivators locked in a fierce battle.

It was during this clash that the pirate's sword left a long but small scar on the right side of Bai Jian's chest. This scar became a permanent reminder of the physical and emotional scars that life had etched onto him.

These experiences accelerated Bai Jian's maturation. He had initially thought he would have plenty of time to reach the level of cultivation he had in his former life. However, the challenges and adversities he faced granted him a deeper understanding of the world's complexities and the importance of resilience in the face of adversity.

The hardships and trials he had encountered had not only strengthened his resolve but also prepared him for the challenges that lay ahead in his journey as a cultivator.

Even though Bai Jian had been adjusting well to his new life within the Bai Clan, it was a testament to his adaptability that he now saw them as his family.

He had made remarkable progress in his cultivation journey, reaching the 9th level of the Foundation Stage, which was a significant accomplishment for someone of his age.

Within the Bai Clan, he found himself surrounded by peers of exceptional talent. While he might not be the highest-level cultivator in his age group, he was making steady and impressive strides.

Bai Jian had formed a close bond with Bai Tian, the talented nephew of Bai Yuchen, the Clan's Sword Saint. Bai Tian's father took it upon himself to mentor both Bai Jian and his nephew, taking them under his wing. In the process, they had gained Bai Gu as their senior brother.

Bai Gu was a remarkable cultivator, but he had a flaw that was evident to everyone in the clan – his arrogance. This flaw was a clear reminder that even the Bai Clan's bloodline had its imperfections.

One day, the three of them found themselves in the Hidden Sword Valley, a sacred place of training for the clan. Bai Jian and Bai Tian were diligently practicing their martial techniques, their movements swift and precise. Bai Gu, on the other hand, lounged lazily nearby, observing their training.

As the day wore on, Bai Tian couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. He turned to Bai Gu and asked, "Why don't you train with us, Bai Gu?

You have such incredible skills, and we could learn from you."

Bai Gu, seemingly unperturbed by the question, stood up and sauntered over to a rack of training swords. With a sly grin, he looked at the setting sun and stretched and twisted his neck. His aura exuded confidence as he made a small leap forward.

Without a word, they both released their Spirit energy, their bodies enveloped in two different colored auras. They began to spar, their swords clashing in a mesmerizing dance. For hours, they fought like a blaze of ice and fire, leaving trails of light in their wake. In the darkening sky, their movements appeared as a spectacular show of fireworks.

Bai Jian couldn't help but laugh as he watched them duel, thoroughly enjoying the display of their skills. His grandfather and his new master, Bai Yuchen, appeared to watch the match. Jian's grandfather busied himself brewing tea for the spectators.

As the sky grew darker, the sparks of metal clashing seemed like bursts of fireworks against the night sky. Bai Gu, despite his arrogance, was showing signs of fatigue, while Bai Tian was drenched in sweat but had a wide grin on his face.

The onlookers couldn't help but join in their laughter. Bai Yuchen stepped forward to offer his insights and observations about the duel, praising their progress and determination. He congratulated Bai Tian on his remarkable development and expressed his pride.

Grandpa Huo, a jolly presence in the gathering, chimed in, "Be that as it may, I believe my grandson will not only pass the test but show great will and prowess during the Clan's annual Spirit Test." He laughed heartily, like a contented bandit reveling in their good fortune.

As the moon cast its gentle light upon the Bai Clan's hidden training ground, the camaraderie among the three young cultivators and the pride of their mentors and family members painted a heartwarming scene of unity and growth within the clan.

Indeed, the events that had transpired in the Bai Clan, particularly within the Martial Arts Pagoda Pavilion, were seen by many as a stroke of fortune. The majority of the clan members recognized the significance of Bai Jian's progress and the opportunities that lay ahead.

The awe-inspiring display of Bai Jian's abilities, especially on the fourth floor, left a profound impact on most witnesses. To them, it was a clear sign of his exceptional talent and potential, and they celebrated his achievements.

However, not everyone within the clan shared this perspective. Bai Jian's parents, his grandfather, the three Ancestors, and a select few Grand Elders and individuals who had observed the events on the fourth floor held a different view. They knew the full extent of Bai Jian's abilities and the enigmatic circumstances surrounding his progress, which made them hesitant to wholly embrace the prevailing narrative of good fortune.

After months of relentless inquiries and well-meaning concerns about his well-being, Bai Jian was gradually granted some reprieve. His family and the higher-ups began to visit him less frequently, giving him space to regain his sense of normalcy.

With this newfound freedom, Bai Jian started to experience better days. He devoted his time to meditation, diligently practiced his breathing exercises, and meticulously honed his martial arts techniques. The gifts he had received from the enigmatic old man within the painting on the fourth level of the Martial Arts Pagoda Pavilion continued to astonish him. Each day, he felt himself growing stronger, surpassing his own expectations.

As he delved deeper into his training and contemplation, Bai Jian's perspective on his past and present began to shift. He had initially considered his premature death as a tragedy, but now he started to wonder if it had been a catalyst for his remarkable journey.

Recollections of his Great-Grandfather Yang's words echoed in his mind, "Everything happens for a reason, young one."

Bai Jian's life gradually fell back into a comforting routine, and he found solace in a well-structured daily schedule. The sense of purpose and fulfillment in his cultivation studies only grew with each passing day. And then, unexpectedly, during this process of rediscovery and growth, Bai Jian achieved a state of enlightenment within his cultivation studies.

This moment of revelation marked a significant milestone in his journey as a cultivator, filling him with newfound wisdom and determination.

The transformation he had undergone since that fateful day in the Martial Arts Pagoda Pavilion was nothing short of extraordinary, and it was clear that his path was just beginning to unfold.

Bai Jian's journey as a cultivator had been marked by remarkable progress and unexpected moments of enlightenment. It only took him a little over a month to reach the Dantian Realm, an achievement that left others in awe of his rapid advancement. Within two more months, he had further solidified his strength to the Perfect stage of the Dantian Realm, a feat achieved earlier than most.

However, Bai Jian's quest for knowledge and self-improvement didn't stop there. Recalling and building upon the wisdom from Bai Tianshang's inheritance gift, he experienced another transformative enlightenment. This leap in understanding catapulted him all the way to the 9th level in the Foundation Stage. This lightning-fast ascent was exhilarating, but it came with its own set of challenges.

Bai Jian realized the importance of a strong foundation in his cultivation, and he knew he had reached this realm too quickly. For over two years, he dedicated himself to strengthening his core, working tirelessly to maintain a stable and balanced cultivation foundation.

Throughout this period, his mind teemed with both worry and excitement. The discovery of another enlightenment weighed heavily on his thoughts. While apprehension clouded his judgment, a sense of eager anticipation filled his heart. It was as if he had awakened from a long slumber, and the dreams of reaching profound heights in cultivation were rekindled, guiding him toward the next momentous breakthrough in his journey.

In the last three years, Bai Jian has diligently focused on strengthening his foundation. Day by day, he honed his physical prowess, tirelessly practiced his fist techniques, and delved into the inheritance he received from the enigmatic old man within the painting.

On the planet Azure, the path to becoming a cultivator begins with mortal martial arts.

To ascend the ranks, an individual needed to first fortify their body, capable of lifting 500 pounds and holding their breath for five minutes. They were then tasked with mastering one of the fifteen grades of martial arts available, ranging from low-ranked (1-3) to grand-ranked (13-15).

Once a martial artist reaches the master level in their chosen martial art, the next step is to find a breathing technique.

This allowed them to absorb Qi through their lungs, enabling them to enter the Qi Condensation Stage. It was at this stage that practitioners could begin to explore cultivation techniques, absorbing and controlling the Qi that entered their bodies.

The Dantian Stage marked a crucial turning point in the journey of a cultivator. It was at this stage that individuals learned to refine the essence of heaven and the planet's energy into Qi, a monumental step in their quest for immortality.

They transitioned from martial artists who absorbed Qi through their skin and filtered it through their muscles, compressing it through their veins and bloodstreams before directing it into their Meridians.

Once they reached the Dantian Realm, cultivators gained the ability to control the surrounding Qi more effectively.

They breathed in the Qi as if it were a filter, absorbing only the clean and pure Qi from the air and their environment while expelling impurities. This transition into the realm of cultivators marked the beginning of their quest for immortality, as they honed their skills and sought to understand the profound mysteries of the world.

Despite Bai Jian's substantial efforts in cultivation, he was aware that, by the standards of the people on this planet, he had not done enough. He knew that there were individuals in the higher realms who had dedicated their lives to cultivation, making greater progress than he had. Bai Jian's ambition to get revenge and serve his own version of justice, and fulfill his ambitious wishes and destroy his very own uncle who was in the upper realms and remained strong, but he was also acutely aware that every moment he spent here delayed the realization of his goals. The impetus to advance on his path was stronger than ever, driving him to reach new heights in cultivation and ultimately fulfill his purpose.

Bai Jian was at a critical juncture in his cultivation journey. He possessed the potential to progress to the next stage, even the coveted Golden Core stage, considering his new, stronger body. However, his prudent nature held him back. The uncharted territory of his enhanced body left him feeling apprehensive, urging caution before taking the leap.

His primary goal was to expand the inner space within his Dantian, preparing himself for the upcoming Golden Core Stage. The more Qi he could store within this space, the longer he could endure in battle, the more aid he could offer, and the better his chances of survival in challenging situations.

The standard size of a Dantian's inner space resembled that of a small island in space. Bai Jian's dedication led him to discover a technique involving the folding of Qi within his Dantian repeatedly and then compressing it into a spherical form. By employing this method consistently, he had elevated the level of his Dantian significantly.

Now, his Dantian had expanded to the point where it could contain an ample amount of Qi, equivalent to covering the size of a large province or small country. This exceptional size and quality of his Dantian were a testament to the quality of his Cultivation Technique and his Spirit Roots.

Bai Jian's unwavering commitment to cultivation, which had started five years ago, was a defining aspect of his life. He maintained an almost obsessive relationship with cultivation, dedicating himself to it relentlessly. He took minimal breaks, reserving time for essential needs like food, water, or even leisurely games of chess or Go with his grandfather.

Through his hard work, he managed to improve the quality of his Qi to Spirit Qi without progressing to the Spirit Body Stage of cultivation.

This achievement saved him years of time and effort, propelling him closer to his goals with each passing day.

Bai Jian had a clear plan in mind, but he was cautious and didn't want to draw unwanted attention from the Huo Clan, their potential adversaries. His priority was to prevent the Huo Clan from discovering his exceptional talents or any reason to hold a grudge against his clan.

Determined and focused, he continued to work on expanding his Dantian, increasing its capacity by one more level. Sitting in his secluded courtyard, beads of sweat formed on his brow, and Spirit Qi swirled around him, causing the winds to pick up in his immediate surroundings.

As time passed, Bai Jian's lips, hair, and skin began to lose their color. The sun dipped below the horizon, and the stars began to illuminate the night sky. Doubts crept into his mind as the strain on his body intensified. He was cautious about pushing himself too far, potentially risking injury or even debilitating consequences.

Pain began to surge through his chest and stomach as he reached the final stages of his cultivation endeavor. The rock he was sitting on seemed to float slightly, adding to the eerie atmosphere. The koi in his pond grew agitated, swimming faster in response, while the birds in the trees scattered. The tall White Crane in the pond lowered its head, sensing the extraordinary power radiating from Bai Jian.

With an explosive burst, the Spirit Qi in his Dantian slammed and compressed once more, creating a loud sound akin to glass shattering within him. The sensation was followed by a gong-like ringing in his ears. Bai Jian's Dantian reformed itself, indicating the successful completion of his challenging endeavor.

A brilliant and divine azure light radiated from him as he reached the Perfect level of the Dantian Stage. His aura extended approximately one foot beyond his body, resembling a divine azure flame rising from his form. By now, the world had turned dark, and more than eight hours had passed since he initiated his Dantian transformation.

Slowly, Bai Jian opened his eyes, which now glowed brightly under the combined light of the three moons and the starry night sky.

----------------------------------------------

Authors Note:

Normally when one reaches the last level of the Dantian Stage, their Aura can only extend six inches from their body. However, due to Bai Jian's practice of the Divine Level Technique passed down by Bai Tianshang, his Aura has doubled in strength compared to someone at the same level (Perfect Level) of the Dantian Stage.

----------------------------------------------

"Nice, I've finally reformed my Dantian, and its size is now three times larger," Bai Jian mused.

As he contemplated his achievements, he recalled the perilous moment during his cultivation when he had nearly entered the State of Qi Deviation. Fortunately, he had managed to succeed in his endeavor.

Now, he sought to gauge the results of his training and explore the newfound capacity within his Dantian.

With a moment of revelation, he marveled, "Oh wow, it's the size of a continent or a small moon!"

A burst of laughter escaped him, and Bai Jian's excitement was palpable. He had decided to keep these extraordinary developments to himself and remain discreet until he reached the Peak of the Nirvana Stage.

While the constant inquiries from his family and the clan had been irritating, the situation had gradually settled down, affording him some much-needed time for introspection and personal growth.

Bai Jian was aware that the clan had benefited from the recent incident, and he was determined to fulfill his promise of sharing the missing techniques once he reached the Ascendant or Archaean Stage, thus securing the clan's future.

As Bai Jian contemplated his current situation and the recent events in the clan, he felt a sense of optimism.

The news about his father's recovery from old injuries, thanks to the Spirit Essence from the painting of the old man riding the flying tiger, brought relief and happiness to his heart.

The healing of his father's meridians and Dantian was of great news to him, his father's body was damaged in a battle with an overseas Prince, and the Hou Clan over 14 years ago, was a remarkable turn of events.

Moreover, Ancestor Yin's revelation that many people in the Bai Clan had experienced an increase in their cultivation and entered new stages was a promising sign. It seemed that the incident had unintentionally brought unexpected benefits to the clan. Bai Yin and his father, along with the ancestors, had immediately entered into closed-door retreats after Bai Jian's awakening, further solidifying their progress.

The clan's elders had convened an emergency meeting to discuss the clan gathering that had been originally scheduled to take place in seven years.

However, due to the incident involving Bai Jian and the complications it posed for the clan's leadership, they decided to postpone the gathering for ten years.

This meant that Bai Jian would be 15 years old when the clan's official gathering finally took place, giving him five more years to increase his cultivation before the event.

The future horizon looked promising, and Bai Jian's heart thrummed with anticipation as he embraced the journey ahead, he was rather eager to make the most of the time he had to strengthen and to hone his skills and carve his path within the esteemed Bai Clan.

Bai Jian's transition from martial artist to cultivator marked a pivotal moment in Bai Jian's life, a shift that brought newfound insights and deeper understanding. Contemplating his role within the clan's inner circle, he grappled with the intricate details. Like a dance between the world of martial arts in Murim and their clans place in the upper cultivation society.

Guided by his grandfather's wisdom, Bai Jian delved into the stark disparities between the two realms.

While common mortal folks harbored aspirations and saw the possibility of attainting some martial prowess within their weak hands, if they had a little bit of diligence and some hard work, it would only take about a decade of training and some resources to see results, the elusive realm of martial artists remained an enigma—a domain beyond their normal mortals reach and only for high level and elite mortals.

The Murim Society stood as a hidden clandestine gateway, for separating the weak and strong mortals from the enigmatic world of cultivation.

But to become martial artists, they were things out of reach, high level mortal cultivators, on the planet decided to use the secret Murim Society as the first natural and secret barrier for a mortal to get through before coming into contact with cultivators.

For well-known and prominent Elites among mortal figures, without a spirit root, almost a hundred percent of the time. often only reach the basic Spirit Qi stage 9 out of 10 times, of those that do 1 out of a couple several hundred can sometimes even reach the Foundation Establishment stage, and 1 out of every couple mortal that reached the Foundation Establishment Stage can once in a blue moon touch the coveted Core Formation stage.

However, for the majority of most mortals, their journey all ways remained at the 1st level of the foundational establishment Stage if they reached it and stagnated to never progressed beyond basic an rudimentary Foundational Cultivation martial arts.

In stark contrast, cultivation, on the other hand, veiled itself in secrecy, a privilege reserved for the select few within the upper echelons of the Murim society.

To the broader normal population, the Murim world existed as a tapestry of exaggerated tales and rumors wrapped up by drunk monks, scurvy mountain bandits and scary bastard noble warlords.

A group of people where men and women could shattered trees with their bare hands and cut a boulder in half with a sword, striking a thin mysterious line between the real world and what ever a mortal could think of in there dreams existing parallel to their own.

Now with the idea of cultivators was in itself a secrecy wrapped and cloaked in invisibility.

Even at the Meir mention of Cultivators was laughed at frowned upon when spoken out in public. you would either hear someone laugh at you or curse you for spreading rumors or fairytales at a pub or inn.

For most the utter idea of a man or women floating in the air or flying around in the sky on swords and breaking mountains and splitting oceans with mystical swords around on the planet as myths and over-exaggerated legends made up up from mortals seeing people from Murim Society in rare occasions that couldn't be explained properly or recalled right.

While ordinary individuals immortalized cultivators in tales and verse, and crazy stories the aristocracy and high level people in Murim Society sought direct interaction, often resorting to unethical means or direct confrontation to satisfy their curiosity.

Amidst the myth and intrigue, Bai Jian's grandfather imparted an emphasized a sobering truth to him: that the public's understanding of the Murim Society and their own cultivation society's practices remained veiled in misconception, distant echoes of the profound truths that lay beyond mortal comprehension was so far far from the truth, that most cultivators gave up on interacting with mortals all together unless completely necessary.

The nobility and royalty viewed it as a realm populated by bandits, rogues, assassins, guilds, and martial arts sects.

However, there were also information guilds, merchant groups, and many other elements that Bai Jian was too young to grasp fully.

The relationship between the Murim Society and the broader world remained largely unknown to most, except for the select few at the highest levels.

As Bai Jian considered these revelations, he decided to distance himself from the clan's problems and enter a closed-door retreat. He aimed to reach the Initial Nascent Soul Stage, a decision that would allow him to focus on his cultivation and self-improvement, unaffected by the complexities of the martial arts society.

The upcoming Clan's Martial Arts Assembly would be his next point of engagement, giving him time to delve into the unknown factions within the Murim Society once the assembly concluded in five years.

... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

The sunrise bathed the south side of the valley in warm light as Bai Jian's past life acquaintance, Qiang Shizi, stood atop a small hill beneath the canopy of cherry blossom trees. Qiang Shizi was a middle-aged man with light blonde hair and a strong beard. He donned imposing black armor and exuded an overwhelming presence, his aura commanding the surrounding space.

As the sun rose on the horizon, Qiang Shizi's countenance transformed from sternness to a triumphant grin. This man, from a higher realm than Bai Jian's, had been reborn into the mortal realm on the same planet. He chose a middle-aged man's body for his reincarnation, using his own formidable power to fix and reform it.

To cleanse his body of all its impurities and defects from being born into a lower realm, he employed his clan's Special Body Modification Manual. After reaching the third stage of this special body technique, he incinerated the manual, making sure such knowledge didn't fall into the wrong hands.

Qiang Shizi's thoughts turned towards the potentially devastating consequences if a divine body manual had been lost to the lower realms. The mere existence of one of these techniques in a lower realm could lead to widespread casualties and turmoil, warranting divine retribution from the heavens until the entire planet was eradicated.

Rejoicing in his newfound physical condition, Qiang Shizi ranted and raved in the open air, declaring his intentions with zeal. He was determined to reclaim what was rightfully his and confront those who had stood in his way in the upper realms.

Qiang Shizi's passionate words shouted towards the sky, triggered a response from the heavens. The sky rumbled and cried out in acknowledgment of his fervent challenge. Lightning arced in the distance, followed by rolling thunder as if the cosmos itself echoed his audacious proclamation.

Undaunted by the celestial forces responding to his declaration, Qiang Shizi continued to express his resolve. He declared his intention to return to the divine realm, reunite with his fiancée, and confront the individual who had dared to oppose him.

The skies erupted with fury, releasing a crescendo of lightning and thunder, affirming the momentous challenge Qiang Shizi had set for himself. With a triumphant smile, he braced himself for the journey that lay ahead, unfazed by the formidable obstacles in his path.

The heavens roared with thunder and the sky was ablaze with streaks of lightning as Qiang Shizi continued to make his bold declaration. He would no longer conceal his true self behind a mask of shame or defeat. With resounding determination, he vowed to destroy anyone who dared to obstruct his path.

As the thunder and lightning intensified, Qiang Shizi's voice echoed through the tumultuous weather. His proclamation reverberated with an unyielding resolve, shaking the very fabric of reality. He was done hiding, done lowering his head to any enemy or foe.

The tempestuous sky wept, releasing a deluge of rain that bathed Qiang Shizi. He raised his arms and face to the heavens, a symbol of his newfound liberation.

As the sky above wept, the rain cascaded down upon him, washing away the remnants of his past and baptizing him in the promise of a new beginning. With arms outstretched, he embraced the downpour, a symbol of his liberation from the shackles of his former self.

His new body was going through a transformation, it was profound, both inward and outward.

After harboring his emotions and desires for countless years, he embarked on a fresh journey.

This time, he was determined to be true to himself, refusing to bow to anyone who stood in his way.

The physical transformation of his soul connecting to his new body was just as equally dramatic.

Having seized control of the recently deceased body, Qiang Shizi experienced a miraculous rejuvenation.

What had once been a vessel ravaged by time now bore the visage of vitality and youth. His hair, once ashen and brittle, now flowed with a golden radiance, while the marks of sickness and age faded from his new features such as his teeth and eyes , replaced by the glow of vitality and beauty.

He understood the importance of preparing his new body for the future, ensuring that it would not hinder his progress upon his return to the immortal realms and, ultimately, the divine realm.

With meticulous care, he had brought his new physical vessel back to a state of peak performance, shedding the impurities and defects accumulated during its time in the lower mortal realm.

And so, beneath the relentless cascade of rain continued to fall, Qiang Shizi stood as a testament to rebirth and resilience, his spirit unyielding in the face of adversity, his resolve unwavering as he embarked on the path towards his long-anticipated journey & destiny.

------------------------------------

After a little over six years of tireless effort, Qiang Shizi had successfully transformed his new body into a remarkable state of vitality and youth.

He not only mended its imperfections but also managed to combine the best aspects of his past and present features, resulting in a face that was more attractive than ever.

During the past four years, Qiang Shizi had relentlessly pursued the trace of Bai Jian's soul.

One year ago, he had felt a distant connection to Bai Jian, and since then, he had been running tirelessly in the direction of that soul's pull.

He was determined to find Bai Jian and commence their journey together.

However, the first seven months following his resurrection had been tumultuous and far from peaceful.

His new family, belonging to the body he had chosen, had relentlessly pursued him.

They constantly nagged and pestered him, making it challenging for Qiang Shizi to find balance and peace.

When his family finally caught up with him, he decided to employ a clever ruse.

He pretended that he had been summoned by an immortal being who intended to take him as a disciple, emphasizing that it would be a long time before they would meet again.

This white lie brought a sense of surprise and blessing to his family and clan, which held great influence in their region.

Before they could catch him in his lie, he promised to return after completing the mission given to him by the immortal being.

Now, after sensing Bai Jian's presence over a year ago and reaching Jade Island with directions from a prince in the Huo Kingdom, Qiang Shizi's heart was filled with anticipation.

He was almost within reach of Bai Jian.

With a deep sense of gratitude and renewed purpose, he looked up to the heavens and spoke words of thanks, ready to embrace his new lease on life as he ventured closer to his long-lost friend and the journey that lay ahead.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Bai Jian had taken a break from his intense cultivation, finding solace in the middle of a Koi pond.

The surrounding Spirit Qi attempted to encircle him, but he remained in a natural state of being, causing the Spirit Qi to spin around him without touching him directly.

This created an awe-inspiring spectacle, as the animals and objects in the vicinity seemed to revolve around him, reacting to his presence.

The sunlight bathed him in a multitude of colors, creating a radiant, golden aura around him.

His eyes had undergone a transformation, shifting from the traditional Azure color of the Bai Clan to a majestic, golden hue with mesmerizing sparkles.

Bai Jian was adjusting to his newfound senses, particularly his eyesight and breathing techniques, which were proving to be challenging.

His eyesight had improved significantly after practicing the Celestial White Sky Tiger Transformation Technique, but keeping it active put a strain on his eyes and breathing. When not activated, his eyes reverted to their original Azure Jade color.

Bai Jian understood the potential of this body cultivation technique, which, at its highest levels, could make his body nearly impervious to attacks.

It was a gift from the old man he had met within the painting and was one of several techniques he had received.

Reflecting on his journey, Bai Jian contemplated the circumstances that had led his clan to its current state.

He believed that even if the old man had taken this Body Cultivation Technique from the clan, they should have retained it in the Martial Arts Pavilion.

Indeed, Bai Jian had arrived at a crossroads in his cultivation journey.

His newfound techniques and the unique bloodline of the Bai Clan, which carried traces of a Celestial White Sky Tiger, had set him on a different path.

The Cultivation Manual from the Celestial Dragon Sect was no longer suitable for his new body, as it primarily emphasized Fire and Wind elements, which didn't align with his new Clan's bloodline or match well with his new physique.

His New Immortal Yang physique, also known as the Sacred Sky White Tiger Physique, was aligned with Lightning, Water, and Wind elements. Fire was now one of the least prominent elements in his new cultivation journey.

After some moments of contemplation and soul-searching, Bai Jian came to a resolute decision. It was time for him to venture beyond his current environment and gain martial arts experience in the wider world.

He needed to assess his newfound strength and capabilities compared to other martial artists. With his determination unwavering and a sense of curiosity pushing him forward, Bai Jian was ready to embark on this new phase of his journey to explore his true potential with his redefined body and abilities.

Bai Jian's decision to venture out into the world was not taken lightly. He needed to assess his strengths and weaknesses, understanding that he had enemies and potential threats everywhere.

No longer was he an emperor seated comfortably on a throne in the immortal Plane Realm, with servants to cater to his every need.

Now, he had to be on equal footing with others, considering whether the techniques he had acquired from the old man were too advanced to pass off as part of his clan's teachings or if he should wait until he grew stronger to reveal them.

The arrival of the Immortal from the Bai Clan in the upper realm had turned the spotlight on their once-closed-off clan.

People from various dynasties, sects, and powerful groups were now keeping a close watch on them.

The revelation of the existence of cultivators had drawn the attention of countless mortals who were previously unaware of life outside their universe.

This sudden surge in interest in cultivation meant that the planet's already limited resources were becoming scarcer.

Bai Jian understood the significance of his journey and the need to explore his true potential in this changing world.

He was filled with determination and curiosity as he set out to confront the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead.

Hmmm...

... ... ...

Bai Jian was taken by surprise as he turned to the sound of a familiar voice.

He hadn't seen or heard from this person in over a decade, and it was none other than Qiang Shizi, who had knelt before him, bowing as a sign of respect.

Bai Jian recalled their encounter in the Nether Realm, a place where he had encountered many powerful beings.

It was here that he had saved Qiang Shizi, preventing him from falling off the stairs during a trial.

He had even given him a Blood Bead, similar to the one King Yama had given him, which had helped Qiang Shizi retain his memories and continue his cultivation journey.

Qiang Shizi had shared his tragic story of being betrayed by his fiancée's jealous junior brother, who sought to eliminate him from the picture.

Bai Jian couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions.

Seeing Qiang Shizi after all these years brought back memories of their time in the Nether Realm.

Now, they were face to face again, and Bai Jian realized that this reunion had the potential to change the course of his own journey in profound ways.

Bai Jian's words seemed to trigger a revelation in Qiang Shizi.

He realized that his encounter with the Night Serpent Clan in the Nether Realm, despite being perilous at first, might have actually saved his life and provided him with protection against his vengeful fiancée's junior brother.

Qiang Shizi's expression shifted from surprise to a mixture of relief and gratitude as he processed this new perspective on his past.

It appeared that his time with the Night Serpent Clan had deterred further attempts on his life.

"That's true," Qiang Shizi acknowledged, "I never looked at it that way before. It seems I might owe the Night Serpent Clan my life, or at least the opportunity to continue my journey."

Bai Jian couldn't help but feel a sense of irony in how events had unfolded.

The universe had a way of delivering unexpected twists, both favorable and challenging.

Qiang Shizi had indeed made a conscious choice to accompany Bai Jian on his cultivation journey instead of seeking immediate vengeance or reuniting with his fiancée.

His reasoning was rooted in a desire for camaraderie and the opportunity to assist someone he saw as a true prodigy.

Bai Jian was humbled by Qiang Shizi's compliment but remained grounded, recognizing that his cultivation journey was far from guaranteed success, and there were challenges ahead.

Nonetheless, he appreciated having a loyal and experienced companion to face the trials that lay ahead.

"Uncle Qiang Shizi, I'm grateful for your company and support," Bai Jian said.

"With your experience and my determination, we might achieve great things together. Let's embark on this journey with the hope that it brings us both success and fulfillment."

Qiang Shizi nodded, a smile on his face, as they looked out towards the path of cultivation that stretched before them.

Authors Note:

Bai Jian calls him Uncle because the other man is thousands and thousands of years older than him and is more like an uncle rather than a friend.

Bai Jian and Qiang Shizi's experiences in the higher realms had given them a unique perspective on time and life.

They were, indeed, much older in terms of their experiences and knowledge compared to the people on Planet Azure.

The different time speeds and dilations between the realms had shaped their understanding of existence and cultivation.

As they embarked on their journey in the Mortal Realm, they brought with them a wealth of wisdom and skills from their previous lives.

They were like ancient souls in young bodies, ready to explore and navigate this new world. The challenges and adventures that awaited them would test their abilities and offer opportunities for growth and transformation.

With Qiang Shizi by his side, Bai Jian had a trusted and experienced companion to help him on this path. Together, they would venture into the unknown, forging their destinies in the realm of cultivation on Planet Azure.

----------------------------------------------

Qiang Shizi's new name, Qiang Huo Shizi, was a combination of both his old and new identities, signifying his connection to his past and his loyalty to Bai Jian.

With this name, he would carry his heritage with pride while also acknowledging the changes and experiences he had gone through.

As they continued their journey in the Mortal Realm, Qiang Huo Shizi and Bai Jian, now known as Young Master Jian, would work together to face the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead.

Their bond and shared experiences would strengthen their resolve to achieve their goals in this new world.

--------------------------------------

Bai Jian and Qiang Huo Shizi continued their conversation, sharing their current situations and exchanging information. Qiang Huo Shizi expressed his appreciation for the new body and the potential for further improvement, showing his determination to make the most of his second chance.

In response, Bai Jian provided Qiang Huo Shizi with a Bai Clan ring containing clothing and accessories to help him blend in and move unnoticed within the clan. This would allow him to explore without drawing attention to his presence.

With their preparations in place, Qiang Huo Shizi set off to change into his disguise and navigate the Bai Clan territory without raising suspicions, ready to rejoin Bai Jian and embark on their journey together.

---------------------------------------

As members of the Hou Clan and Huo Sect made their way through the Bai Clan's territory, they discussed their plans and intentions.

It seemed like they had a strong desire for bloodshed and conflict.

They proceeded to the public arena area, where their presence would soon become known to the Bai Clan.

The visit by these outsiders had the potential to ignite tensions and set the stage for significant changes on Jade Island.

-----------------------------------------------

Bai Jian and Qiang Shizi engaged in a game of Go, with the latter showcasing his impressive skills in the game. As they played, they discussed Bai Jian's plans for the future, his inheritance from the old man in the painting, and the responsibilities that come with great power.

After their game, Bai Jian was still eager to play another round, despite his previous losses. Their interaction portrayed a sense of camaraderie and mentorship, with Qiang Shizi imparting his wisdom and experience to Bai Jian.

The two continued their game, and the anticipation of their next moves lingered in the air.

------------------------------------

Bai Jian discussed his plans for the future with Qiang Shizi while they continued their game of Go. He mentioned his intention to restore the Ancient Bloodline Techniques of his clan but decided to wait until after the Clan Assembly to do so. Bai Jian also expressed his hope for a different outcome in this life compared to his past one.

As they conversed, Lady Li, a member of Bai Jian's household, arrived to serve them tea. The atmosphere was one of camaraderie and support as Bai Jian navigated the challenges of his new life and undertook the responsibility of his clan's heritage.

... ... ...

As Bai Jian and Qiang Huo Shizi enjoyed their peaceful and leisurely afternoon, they discussed their plans and priorities. They decided to eliminate the Bai Clan's enemies and consolidate the clan's strength before making any moves on the mainland, particularly in the Fire Continent, or the Flame Continent as mainlanders called it. They relished the tranquil moments, thinking they had time on their side.

However, their peaceful interlude was abruptly interrupted as Bai Jian's servant rushed to him with urgent news. Trouble was on the horizon, and their tranquility was about to be shattered.

"Young Master, Young Master, Young Master, we have trouble!"

"What now, Auhh!"
