1 Intro: The Jerk

Since I first laid eyes on Jake, I could tell that he was a jerk. His fake motorcycle jacket; that might I add wasn't even the same brand of motorcycle he owned, his black ripped jeans, and to match his whole facade; a cocky smirk planted in the middle of his annoying face, all gave it away. But it appears that I'm the only one that can tell how much of a sleazebag he is! And in case you're one of those people, I'll tell you about our first meeting.

"Andy!" Melissa screamed, as I walked toward her, with my lunch in hand. I arrived late to lunch that day, and unluckily for me, Jake did too. He was walking in my direction, and like most romcoms, this is the part, where he bumps into me, and my crappy school yogurt goes all over his brand new-shirt. As I look over at Melissa, my lunch is met with a chest, I slip, and fall to the ground. "Watch where you're going!" Jake yells, in a pissy tone. "I'm sorry, it was an accident, you don't have to be a jerk about it."

"Tsk," he tsks, before walking away, "Watch where you going next time!" I let out a sigh, before getting up, still covered in goop, and walking over to Melissa. "Omg! Did you just talk to Jake!" she squeals, as I take off my black, and white plaid shirt, "I don't know, why?" I ask, stuffing the shirt into my backpack. "Omg, you don't know him?! He's only the hottest guy in school not to mention the baddest!"

"Oh, and that matters to me why again?" I ask, looking down at my now empty tray. "Duh he's the most popular boy in school!" She squeals yet again. "Oh really? He seems like a jerk to me." Note: Never disagree with a fan girl again.

And this is where she completely lost it. "What! He is anything but a jerk- blah blah blah blah!" After that, I started to zone her out. In the midst of this my gaze, found its way over to Jake, and for some reason, he was staring back at me; with that same cocky grin, plastered on his face. And before I knew it he was walking over to me. He walked up to our table, and planted himself in the chair next to me. "What were you staring at?" He coos in my ear, making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, "Aw cat got your tongue?"

"Nope, but it appears you have my lunch," I say pointing to his yogurt covered jacket. "Oh that reminds me," he says pulling out a bag of fast food, and placing it in front of me. "Wouldn't want you to starve, now would we?" I hesitantly take the bag, as he gets up, "Also you should come to Chase's party later tonight," he says winking at me, "hope I see you there."

As soon as he's far enough away from our table, Melissa starts freaking out, "Omg, we have to go to the party!" She squeals, as I open up the bag, and take a bite of my cheeseburger. "We?" I ask, "Didn't he only invite me?"

"Please Andy! You know how long I've liked Chase," she begs. "This may be my only chance, to talk to him!" I sigh as I take another bite, "Fine I'll think about it." Melissa, being Melissa, gets overly excited, "Omg thank you so much Andy!"

"I said, maybe," I let out a sigh. She completely ignores what I said, and starts talking about what she's going to wear to the party.

~Four painful hours later~

"Do you not have any dresses!" Melissa screams, as she continues to raid my closet; for something to wear to the party. "Why do I need one, again?" I ask, "Duh because it's a party!" she says, as she pulls more stuff out of my closet, "You have to have something in here!" I sigh, as she takes out a black dress, from closet, "Perfect! I knew you had to have something in here!" She yells before throwing it at me, "Put this on!" Before I have the chance to respond, she leaves the room. I let out a loud sigh before getting up, and putting on the dress. I glance at myself in the mirror, before yelling at Melissa to come in, "I'm done!" Not even a second later, she busts open the door, "OMG, you look amazing!" she squeals. I smile, and nod as she starts going through my closet again." After nearly an hour, she finds something, and we go to the part.

Note: This party was going to suck.

Once we arrive, Melissa more, or less drags me into the party. As soon as I stepped in, I started counted down until it was socially acceptable, for me to ask to leave. I felt like the music, was going to blow out my eardrums. The house was a mess, there were plastic red cups everywhere, huge cases of beer stacked up to the ceiling, and half the furniture was now damaged. Oh, and who could forget the drunken half-naked teenagers, grinding on each other, yep definitely a great party.

Note to self: Never fall for Melissa's puppy dog eyes again.

I was so lost in thought, that I just now realized, that I had lost Melissa in the crowd. Great, just great, note the sarcasm. I skim around the room, and my eyes are met with a familiar face, Jake's. Or as I've now decided to refer to him as, Mr. Jerk Face. He smiles, and walks over to me. "Well hello princess I was starting to think that you wouldn't show." he says looking down on me, with a huge smirk plastered on his dumb face. "One don't call me that," I tsk. "And two I was forced here," I say pointing to Melissa, who I know see dancing, with his best friend, Chase. "Oo ditched, I see," he hands me a red plastic cup, which I assume contains some type of alcohol. "I don't drink."

"Come on princess, lighten up a bit, don't be a party popper. Live a little." He says, before taking a sip of his drink. This is the moment were I fucked up, I said fuck it, and chugged down the entire cup. "Happy?" I ask, as his smirk widens. "Very," he says, before dragging me onto the dance floor. From there I chugged down drinks, like they were nothing, and danced with no one other than Mr. Jerk Face. The next morning I woke up with a killer headache, and I wasn't alone.
