"Senior, what are you laughing at?" Kai inquired, curious about Reika's amusement.

Reika laughed heartily, struggling to respond to Kai's question. Despite her attempts to suppress it, her laughter continued to burst out.

Intrigued as to why Kai had been unusually quiet in the enclosed room they shared, Reina glanced at him, wondering if he had any intentions towards her.

To her surprise, she found Kai making a series of comical facial expressions while fixated on the curtain. Initially finding it amusing, Reika's chuckles eventually evolved into uncontrollable laughter, unable to resist the hilarity any longer

Kai, on the other hand, remained perplexed by Reika's laughter. He watched, captivated by her contagious joy, and allowed her to relish in the moment. He was glad that after everything he put her through, she could still find solace in laughter. She was like a blossoming flower, displaying resilience in the aftermath of a tempest.

Reika's wonderful laughter is echoing through the quiet room, which only contains two people. Reika's uncontrollable laughter is transforming the room's dismal vibe. Her face is red from laughter, and she appears to be having a terrific time, completely forgetting about her circumstances.

Kai's face was also filled with smiles as he looked at her joyful expression. This was also Kai's first smile after his painful past experiences. His gloomy aura, which he had accumulated until now, was being washed away by Reika's laughter.

After laughing for a while, Reika finally calmed down and told him the reason for her actions.

"Are you okay now, Senior?" Kai asked.

"Yes, thanks to you," Reika replied as she wiped her tears of joy.

Kai's lips twitched. He doesn't know whether to laugh or cry.

'It seems that I need to be careful while I'm doing something with the system, or someone might think that I'm crazy.'

Luckily, the one who saw him was the gentle Reika. If it had been someone else, they might have even called a mental hospital, and a rumor might have spread throughout the school. Kai shivers just thinking about it.

Since you already had your fun, now it's my turn to have fun," Kai grinned as he glanced at Reika who looked satisfied.

"Senior, let's spice things up the bet, shall we?" Kai said.

Reika looked at him curiously and asked, "What do you mean by that?"

"Let's add a penalty… Since it's getting too late now, we can't just wait here forever right?" Kai said as he curled his lips upward.

Like cold water that splashed on Reka's face, she suddenly remembered that they were in the middle of their bet. Her purity and reputation were at stake right now. Her relaxed body trembled, and caution resurfaced.

However, it was different this time. She doesn't know why, but she felt a little more relaxed with him compared to their first encounter.

"What kind of penalty is it?" Reika asked

"It's really easy! If your boyfriend doesn't come back within 10 minutes, I'll do anything to you... That's your penalty." Kai said, he doesn't hide his desire for her.

"What? Every 10 minutes? Isn't that too fast? A-and doing anything to me? C-can we change it to another penalty?" Reina pleaded, while shifting her gaze to the other side at the same time.

Kai shakes his heads slowly and said

"No, Senpai. Compared to your penalty mine is quite severe." 

"W-what kind?"

"If your boyfriend returns, I will drop out of high school," Kai said, without hesitation and full of determination. 

And he continued, "And before I leave, I'll kneel down in front of the school for the whole day to atone for what I did to you."

Reika was shocked by Kai's penalty, but she was doubtful if he would really do it if he lost. Reika was about to retort, but she suddenly felt something as she looked into his deep, black eyes, as if she was being pulled by a black hole.

She suddenly felt that he was telling the truth, and she felt like they had known each other for a while now. Kai also noticed it and took a glance at Reika's Conquerors points. Her conquerors points are now 70/100. It seems that the effect of the conquerors points is like a lie detector. It is also like a bond between the two parties involved, as they both felt as if they had known each other for a long time and had just met again after a long separation.

To Kai, who has trust issues because of his past experiences, this was the best thing he got from the system. With this, he doesn't need to worry about the woman whom he completely conquered.

Remembering those painful memories again, Kai's face contorted as he tried his best to not show his sadness and the pain of being betrayed by the most trusted person in his life since childhood. He clenched his fist and gritted his teeth to hold back the slowly building pain in his heart. He looked away to hide his face so she wouldn't see.

Reika feels what Kai is experiencing. It was only a faint feeling at first, but as time passed, she began to feel as if she already knew him, despite the fact that this is their first meeting. This is also why she can laugh without fear and let go of the stress in her body.

She has been ignoring this feeling for a while now, thinking that it is just her imagination. But now, looking at him doing his best to not show it on his face, she is sure that this time, it is not mere imagination. The closeness she feels towards him does not seem like her imagination as she can now clearly feel his pain, even though it is faint.

She was conflicted. They were strangers to each other hours ago, and now she's having these feelings. It's like a huge puzzle that was missing in her entire life has suddenly been filled out and fits properly, making her comfortable in his company.
