Chapter 47

-3 hours later-

2 figures could be seen in a black convertible driving recklessly through the forest, there were times where the car almost knocked into several trees.

"Can you drive properly, our motive is to get my sis out alive not getting ourselves killed!" A feminine voice yelled out, clear irritation was out on display on her face and the guy that was driving was surprisingly calm without even a hint of anger.

"Sorry, I prefer to be running instead of driving." The guy chuckled.

As everyone can tell the guy is Ryder and the girl is Kelly, after what he said the whole car became silent and Kelly was already plotting out a plan on how they can save Kaylin.

3 hours ago when he agreed on helping her she was doubtful on how he was going to find Kaylin due to the lack of information and everything but amazingly he called in a few guys who he said are trackers. He told her that they will need Kaylin's scent to track her but unfortunately for her, all her things are left at the place where the lake was. With that information he got, he threw out some orders and the guys who were in the room dispersed, the atmosphere was awkward as she sat on one side of the room while he was on the other. He was on his phone while she stared out into blank space, there were some occasional peeks he took at her but she was totally engrossed in staring at the wall across her totally ignoring his existence.

An hour has passed since the guys left and a knock on the door could be heard. Ryder got up from the bed where he was sitting and went to open the door seeing that it was the guys he sent out earlier. They've retrieved all the things that were there and passed it to him. Ryder took the bag and brought it over to Kelly plopping it down in front of her, with that it brought her back to reality.

"H-How? Forget it." She wanted to ask tons of questions as it wasn't exactly easy to find where she hid all her stuff but they managed to do it so easily, she did not want to waste any time asking too many questions so she simply fished out a jacket in the bag that was in front of her which belongs to Kaylin and passed it to him hoping it will still have her scent on it. The only thought running through her mind was 'maybe he really might be able to save Kaylin.'

"Beta Ryder, when we were on the way back earlier we caught onto a similar scent but it was very faint, I thought it was a random animal's scent, therefore, we did not follow it." The guy who spoke seemed to be the leader and he reported his findings to Ryder and Kelly.

With the knowledge of Kaylin's possible location, Kelly's thoughts were in a mess she was elated with the news and she threw all logic out of the window.

"Bring us there now." Her tone wasn't threatening yet it wasn't exactly nice as well which made the leader of the trackers displeased and scowled at her.

"Who are you to order me around?" His tone was bad but the look on his face was worse, he had on a full-on scowl.

"You. Will. Bring. Us. There. Now." She clenched her teeth and her piercing glare shot right through him and he took a slight step back.

"Ted she is my mate so you will respect her, UNDERSTAND?" Ryder's voice was loud and clear and the guy who is named Ted backed down significantly and his head was lowered to the ground.

"Yes, sir understood."

"Kelly we will find your sister, I assure you." He turned towards Kelly and patted her on her head which made her glare towards him and swiped his hands away from her head.

"Aww don't do that I know you love it." His itchy hands wouldn't listen and the patting got worse which made Kelly got annoyed and kneed him in the crotch.

"Ouchh, don't you want kids in future?"

Kelly ignored him as he hobbled around like a clumsy clown trying to put on an act for a circus while covering his family jewels, she shot a glance towards Ted and he immediately led the way for her.

"Beta female should I choose the car or do you want to choose the car?" Ted's tone was now naturally respectful and he even called her beta female which bothered Kelly but she was too lazy to explain so she simply accepted it as it is.

-In Kelly's mind-

Hmph since that bastard thinks that he can make me submit to him by bullshitting about werewolves and mates then he is going to regret. I bet the meaning of trackers are simply a bunch of guys training a bunch of K9 dogs which is living in their rooms and they use the dogs to track down things!

-back to reality-

A weird and creepy smile made its way on Kelly's face which was totally abnormal, the smile can even be compared to the clown from the movie IT. "Which one of this mofo is Ryder's car?"

"Oh, Beta Ryder has 3 cars actually but they are mainly for display only." Ted scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"Interesting, bring me to see the cars."

Kelly's P.O.V

Within minutes I was standing in front of 3 beautiful cars, damn no wonder they are only for show.

The first one from the right is a black Bugatti Veyron and the one next to it is a

Lamborghini Murciélago which is also black and lastly there is a black Ferrari, I've seen an exact one before and it looks to be a limited edition one, if I am not wrong there are only 7 of these in the world and it is from the collection of Ferrari 70th.

"Beta female, why not we leave you with the cars and we will go get a car for ourselves first so we can lead the way for you and the Beta." I nodded and everyone left, I was now alone with these 3 beauts in display right in front of me.

"Hmm, why not let us go with the Ferrari," I smirked and was about to approach it and reach out for the car handle when all of a sudden a loud yelp stopped me in my track.

"Nooooo! Not Patriciaaaa!" Ryder came stumbling into the garage rushing straight towards the 3 sexy cars and blocking it from me, he looks just like a mama hen protecting her baby chicks.

"Patricia it is." I walked over and went under his arm that was spread out to stop me from crossing and opened Patricia's door, I took a seat in the driver's side and as I was about to start the car Ryder freaked and opened the other side of the car door trying to get me out of there.

Just as I started up the car I realized something stupid, there was totally no gas in the car, no wonder Ted said that it was only for display.

"Are you kidding me? Why would you have these beauties and not pump gas into it?!" I looked at him in ridicule and he smiled sheepishly.

"Hey Patrica is for the eyes only, she ain't ready to go out for a drive."

"Gosh please tell me the other 2 cars are able to work."

"Um. . .um. . . Sorry, they are all born to be a model, not a racer!"

"Gosh, I will run you over with this car right now if it actually has a full tank." I rolled my eyes and got out of the car. After looking through some other cars that are usable I've decided on an ordinary black convertible that Ryder had no issues with driving and we took off. Ted and a few other guys were in the car ahead of us and I am seated in the car with Ryder and his reckless driving.

Currently, after he apologized for his reckless driving I was starting to plan out on how we should rescue Kaylin, the car was quiet and the only sound was from the air con which was blowing at full blast.

"So, who is your other sister?" His voice resonated loud and clear in the car and it broke the silence.

"Why should I tell you, it ain't your business." I shot back.

"I mean I am helping to save her after all, shouldn't I know a little about her?" He raised his brows and looked towards me a little before shifting his gaze back towards the road.

"Fair point. My sister's name is Kaylin."

"Nice name. You seem to care about her a lot, how about Emily? Isn't she your sister as well?" He questioned. My brows furrowed and I looked towards him feeling displeasure.

"Yes I do care about Kaylin a lot and Emily is a traitor." My face turned stone cold and I simply wanted to get out of the car and save lin, why must he make it so difficult for me by asking so many tough questions.
