34: Immortal?

A land filled with marvels as people stood upon clouds and looked down on mortals watching them from their own immortal path. Some immortals stood behind one another and laughed as they saw some cultivators trying to achieve killing as if that would lead them to success not understanding that any killing done in order to do bad will never allow one to reach nirvana or in their word's immortal realm.

In the midst of all this laughing and happy atmosphere, there stood a woman with no happiness in any step of hers. She looked as if she fell out of every colour and lost her smile. She didn't look sad or happy, she was just with no emotion.

Beside her stood another lady with a subtle smile and looked at her friend who never seemed to smile or cry. "You shouldn't do that, Xiulan, I can save you once or twice but I won't be able to do it every time. Stop playing with your memories. You want to feel something, fine, I get it. Stop being suicidal with it. I'll get lord to do something for you. Let me talk to him, he will definitely have some idea to do something for you."

Xiulan looked at her friend and chuckled dryly. "If things like that could be solved by him, do you think I wouldn't go to him? He would help me in a heartbeat if he could."

"I know, I know. Our lord is mad about you, so mad that he is willing to give up himself in your memories just to make you happy but you have to find immortal low of tie for that. You have the supreme law but haven't combined it with the law of time, right? Take the lord with you and search for it with him. May be, you might find some emotions there."

"You foresee something, don't you?" Xiulan said as her friend laughed and attracted too many gazes.

"Yun Shan, I, can foresee everything and I saw something that will do a great help to you. Go on this journey with lord, you will find what you were searching for. Have a great journey." Yun Shan, smiled and flew away laughing as Xiulan looked at her disappearing back and turned and moved between voids to reach her lord's palace.

"Let's leave." Xiulan turned to see a man in white robe as he stood in front of her as he looked at her with his extremely beautiful phoenix eyes and smiled.

"Yun Shan—"

"She didn't. I can always know what you want, Xiu." Fang Teng smiled at her and forwarded his hand to her as she frowned at him and hand in hand, they both left for the journey that would help her in some way.

"How pitiful." Yun Shan said as she ate a piece of tangerine. Her pink lips sucked on it as she tasted its juice and smiled as she looked towards the sky.

"Most people look for ways to forget emotions and reach the state of still water but here she wants to reach emotions to feel some ripples. How would people feel once they know that the state of still water is not one with no emotion but rather one where a person isn't affected by others." Yun Shan sighed and closed her eyes to feel her surrounding and activated her power of law and saw scenes that made her smile and whispered fondly "Xiulan, this journey will bring you to one of the most important answer you search for."

"Young Miss, Master is here." Steward Liu came and told her to which she nodded and stood up languidly. Every action of hers was beautiful enough to enchant even females. But then, living for thousands of years does that to you.

"Young Miss, do you think Miss An will be able to find what she is looking for?"

"Oh, she will, Steward Liu. People like her never loses. She is the protagonist that this immortal world is searching for."
