63 Chapter 62

[Wanda POV]

"Move along, child. It is time to put this Lord of Cinder to rest in fire once more.Here, her teacher was telling her to move along like she was of no use. Even someone as keen as her teacher, might not notice it but those words like a bullet to her heart.

Thor could furiously pound the raging giant was his thunder and hammer, time and time over again and again with no rest.

Quill's group might seem weak, but they were hardened mercenaries with plenty of experience. The fact that they have survived the void of space itself with bounties on their head spoke plenty of their competence.

Even Loki could kill a few of the hand monsters using a combination of his illusions and daggers. Despite his looks, he has had hundreds of years of experiences.

She however was of no help. Her reality-altering powers could not affect the monsters that were from her teacher's homeland. The most she could do was throw a few boulders and help out survivors but that did not affect the endless tide of the monsters.

'If hell existed on Earth, this is what it would look like.', she thought to herself. The most brutal things she has seen was a few corpses. Even the likes of Ultron killed for the sake of killing and nothing else.

But here, these monsters were playing with their victims. Pulling people until their limbs were torn apart from them. Using intestines like ropes and crushing people to death with the horrible fingers that is their face.

If she could sense their emotions, she was sure she would be feeling excitement and glee. She did not know if this was an illusion, but she could hear laughter composed of madness from their very beings.

"Oh ... tsk tsk tsk ... These people sure have taste. And I can assure you my dear girl that hell very much exists. Maybe, I can call you along to visit there one day."

"Chthon!", she went instantly on guard.

Her teacher had already formed barriers so he may not come visit her soul again but here he was in her soul. She was also no longer in her soul.

"No worries, my dear girl. I come in peace. I cannot do much in your soul. I only come here due to the shock from your soul."

"A shock from my soul?"

"The keeper's words affect you more than you might think, my dear girl. After all, your loved one turning you away will affect a maiden's heart."

She did not know if Chthon was doing this intentionally, but she was feeling very giddy in her heart. He started smiling after this.

"Human novels sure are wonderful but no. I chose you because you are one messed up lady. Even more so than the characters in your novels."

"I do not understand what you mean?"

"Falling for your teacher is strange, no? Even more when you are of the same gender."

Right at that moment, Chaos energy surged from her, but it did not affect Chthon who rules Chaos itself. He was smiling to the point where his teeth were visible. She did not want to admit it, but this is what the devil would look like.

"Oh, the devil is another guy, not me. I am but a lord of Chaos. Be sure not to be mistaken."

"You can read my mind?"

"Do you believe yourself to be your teacher? Her face never changes but you? You are a child. I need not read your mind for I can read your face like a book. Do you wish to be with her so bad?"

"Chthon, and get to the point. Are you here to waste time? Or do you wish to intercede with my teacher?"

"Why rush? I am keeping your body safe as of this moment. Those minions cannot harm you. On the contrary, I am hurting them. You could go out but why do it when you are not helping in anyway. But first, allow me to show you, yourself from other universes."

"I don't understand what you mean?" She truly did not understand what he wished to imply. After all, what good would it do to the Lord of Chaos to show herself from other universes.

"Oh, I just want to let you know what you will become without your teacher. Do you not wish to know who you fall for without your teacher? I must admit, they are some of the most revolting things known to me."

"I don't like her that way. And what do you mean by revolting?" She must admit she was interested in both statements. After all, when you tell someone not to do it, they wish to do it more. The same goes for her. After all, she too was human.

"Oh, these are too good not to share." His grin was now inhumane but judging by the fact that he was not a human being, she supposes it wasn't a fair judgement.

She pressed her head in an instant. In a moment, memories of her from another universe rushed into her head. Memories of two other Wanda invaded into her head. They were both her and might have been more powerful than her but she only felt disgusted with them.

"Is that Vision? Really? A robot? Not even a living thing? And the next ... the next one?"

She truly felt revolted at this one. Vomit threatened to come out of her throat. She immediately clasped a mouth to her mouth to stop it. Even the scenes of the hand monsters tearing living beings apart limb from limb did not disgust her to this point.

"Is that ... is that Pietro? My brother?"

'No no no" These are just illusions. She tried to assure herself. Before she knew it, her soul has shaken up a lot.

An average person would have gone into a coma just by being in Chthon's presence. She just endured a lot of stimulation in a short moment but it was only for a brief moment. She stabilized herself and prepared to get out of her soul.

"Do you wish to control me? You can't do it yet. Go wait another hundred years."

"But my dear, what I want has already be done." She opened her eyes and saw herself stabbing a knife straight into her teacher's heart.
