Chapter 2

"Stage one." Thomas said, as there are blue, red and green orbs floating around him.

"All you have to do is pick out the blue orb and touch it." Robert walk forward and touch the blue orb as thomas's instructed.

"A point will be substracted each time you touch an orb that isn't blue. The first of the stage of the test will evaluate..."

"...Agility..."

The blue orb suddenly began to drag and float him around the room while robert still grab the orb.

"...Endurance..."

"...Reflexes..."

"...Dynamic visual acuity..."

"...And a myriad of other physical abilities..."

Robert release the orb and see other blue orbs flying around the room as he run with inhuman speed to touch the blue orbs while evading the other color orbs except blue.

"Stage two. Combat!"

The orbs dissapeared and replaced by monsters twice the size of a human.

"These are the monsters resides on tower or dungeon. Using data from the hunters got from the towers and dungeons, I created a virtual environment in which monster exist."

Thomas said as robert look at variety of monsters spawned from minotaurs, wolves, lizards and skeletons.

"The test will evaluate your combat capabilities and how many demonic beasts you can hunt." Thomas said.

Robert see a minotaur raise his hand to grab him but robert suddenly appeared at the front of his face and punch him hard making his head explode.

He make an mana claws around his hand and kill all the monsters using super speed. The monsters can't react fast enough until they are clawed on their chest with blood flowing out, slice into two or their heads are chopped off.

"Did he just make his mana into claws on his hands?" Thomas is shocked of what robert just do.

Thomas check the mana claws on robert's hands with using a mana measurement detection tools.

3 minutes later

Robert look at his sorrounding to see many monsters are dead and blood flowing out from their bodies.

"Stage three. Now for the grand finale! I'll be summoning the boss of this place." Thomas said summoning the boss monster.

Robert see the dead monsters dissapeared and replaced by a gray wolf with three times the size of a truck and red eyes.

The boss presence emits a powerful aura that make a rookie hunter would frozen in fear but not for robert because he already fought creatures or beings more bigger and stronger than this wolf.

The wolf and robert are having stare showdown suddenly both of them are begun to attack each other.

The wolf using his claw to hurt robert but robert just block him and he use super speed to damage the wolf by clawing his entire body. The wolf defend himself from robert's attack and tried to hit him but the wolf still can't hit him let alone touch him.

He begin to use his fire powers and burn the wolf down but the wolf have fire resistance but that doesn't mean he can't still be burned.

"Fire powers! Interesting so he is a warrior and a mage." He is surprise this man have fire powers which makes it more interesting.

Robert see the wolf struggle. 'Shit I thought this wolf is strong and can match my speed but I was wrong. I need to slow down so he can hit me.' Robert see this as a problem.

If he still continue this attack he will become a high rank hunter but that is not his objective. Hus objective is to become a hunter buf with a decenr rank.

He he gets in front the boss and wait him to attack. The wolf see robeet in front of him attack immedeatly with his claw at fast speed. Robert see the incoming attack didn't bother to dodge. 'Good.' He wa thrown back to the wall.

He pretend strugling to get up although his healing factor recovering him. The wolf is in front of him ready to finish him off but suddenly the wolf dissapeared.

"Simulation over."

The speaker announce the simulation is over. "Not gonna lie, he is good. His attack and speed are good especially his energy claws is impressive." Thomas see the man is struggling to get up, he stop the simulation before he got hurt more.

'The energy claws on his hand are made out of mana and that fire powers are not bad. This man might have high knowledge to control mana to manifest a mana claws like that and he also have fire power.' He held his chin.

He smirk looking at the young man who already stand. "How curious I wonder who he is." He murmured.

2 hours later

Robert is walk his way home while holding his hunter ID card. The hunter ID card means you have sucessfuly pass the hunter exam and become a hunter. This ID hunter card is very important, If you want to raid dungeon or tower you need to brough this card because If you don't have an ID hunter card you will get a penalty and banned from entring dungeons and towers.

You're hunter ID is already part of the system, so If you want to join a guild or show your hunter Identity, you can just tell your real name or cover name and they will search your name.

The rank of hunters are from F,E,D,C,B,A,S,SS,SSS class. The hunters of human on planet earth have hundreds of S rank, 100 hundred SS rank, and 50 SSS rank. The (+) symbol for a hunter who is at the peak of their rank but can't advance to the next rank which means they are stuck at that rank.

The hunters from F-B rank can't use dungeon and tower. Usually, only A rank hunters and above are allowed to access the towers but sometime B rankers are allowed to use towers and dungeons.

The rank beyond SSS rank is EX Rank. The EX rank means that the level being displayed is unquantifiable or fluctuates to such an extent that one ranking wouldn't make sense.

The people who have EX rank are gods or people who have godlike powers. The humans didn't have any EX ranker.

There are people who are EX rank across the universe, multiverse and omniverse but planet earth didn't have any EX rankers.

The alien races across the universe have EX rankers of their own from kryptonians, celestials, celestialsapiens, viltrumites, saiyans, tamarans, martians, kree, thanagarians, and more alien races across the universe.

The Supernatural races have their EX rankers of their own from giants, elves, fairies, dwarves, dragons, vampires, yokais, devils, demons, fallen angels, angels and more supernatural races.

The gods from different pantheons have EX rankers of their own from zeus, odin, thor, shiva, Ra, Amaterasu, and more gods from different pantheons.

He look againat his hunter ID card, He has his code name not his real name, his age is 25 years old, he is a warrior and mage type class and other information about him. He didn't use his real face instead he use a golden mask covering his face with blue visor from the end of his left eyes to the end of his right eyes and wearing a hoodie.

He put his hunter ID card on his wallet and walk through the city strolling around with no destination. He still wears his mask and hoodie inside. "Luna, is there anyone following me?" He said.

"No robert, there is no one following you." Luna scan the area around him and no one is following him.

"Good keep an eye of anyone who is suspicious." Robert said, Luna continue monitor robert's sorrounding. He feel tremors around the street and see the sky suddenly appeared monsters and a giant grey bull appeared from a dungeon.

This incident happen just like the first time when towers and dungeons appeared all over the earth. Altough those events are already past but out of knowhere monsters came out from tge tower or a dungeon.

This Incident or phenomena are called The Gate break. The great break means there are monsters suddenly came out from the towers or dungeons. This incident can happen out of knowhere and the hunters can't predict when the dungeon break will happen again or not.

That is why every single tower and dungeon appeared need to be reported and supervise, so If there is a dungeon break occured again, they can send hunters to finish the job. After the monters are all dead the dungeon and tower where the monsters came out from will be destroyed on it's own.

The monters are minotaurs using axes and wolves twice the size of a human, C rank hunters can handle them but the big one is the problem.

The big one is a minotaur skin with grey skin combine with thick layer of armor, white long hair up to the waist with spikes all over his back and shoulders, sharp fangs and two large horns. This monster is as tall as a 15 story building.

This monster name is Thorned bull, this is an A rank monster. This kind of strong and durable monster can be defeated by A rank hunters or above. This monster capable of destroying an entire city alone!

A single A-Rank hunter can't defeat this monster, only with several A rankers or an S ranker can defeat this bull.

The thorned bull began rampaging destroying buildings and killing many civilians. Many people die and there are no hunters to help the civilians and killing the thorned bull.

Robert meanwhile just stand looking at the bull destroying everything on his path. He just stand and do nothing because he can sense the presence of a strong hunter with thunder attribute around the area.

'Interesting, seems like I can see who is this person with thunder attribute.' Robert wait for this person to appear and take action against the thorned bull.

"Lightning Storm!"

Suddenly lightning comes from the sky killing all thebl monsters around the area hurting but the thorned bull is still alive.

"ROOOOAAAAARRR!"

The horned bull take the lightning attack onto him. The monster is taking damage but still standing, he look behind him to see a woman hover on the sky with lightning sparks on her hands.

Robert see the woman have White hair down to her back, blue eyes, beautiful face like a goddess, F-Cup breasts, thicc and wide thighs, and nice ass. She also has nice curves.

She wears blue tight jeans, black belt, crop top and black jacket. she glare at the thorned bull.

"Look! It's the ligthning empress. We're saved!"

"Thank god, she is here."

"Now that monster is in trouble that the lightning empress is here."

The civilians are cheering for her to come and save them. They also cheering for her to kill the thorned bull.

'I think I have seen her before in the hunter news.' Robert look at her floating on the sky with a glare on the thorned bull.

"Luna, who is she?" He ask luna.

"She is Irene Rothschild, 18 years old an A rank hunter class mage and possibly also a warrior from the Rothschild family!" Luna said.

"Rotschild family? Wait, didn't they have a guild called Silver storm guild." Robert said.

"Yes, their guild called The silver storm is one of the famous guild in america, they have also participated in towers and guilds from other countries making them one of the International guilds on earth. They have many strong hunters and some S rank hunters on their guild. This guild is led by her father John Rothschild, an SS Rank hunter class warrior. He is married to Laura Aniston who became Laura Rothschild after she married johm, an S rank Hunter class mage." Luna displayed the data of The silver storm guild, John and laura.

He look john have a blonde hair and blue eyes, this man is in early forties but he is handsome and muscular. Laura, has white long hair down to her back and blue eyes, she is in early forties. She is beautiful and the body of a model or a goddess. They look young despite their age.

"John decided to replaced his leadership of the guild to her 25 years old daughter name Aurelia Rotschild, an S rankher hunter class mage and warrior. She has kill boss monsters from towers and dungeons and kill some S rank monsters. Her lightning magic is powerful that her team and the people call her lightning goddess. " Luna show Robert her data and background.

Robert see her data and he is impressive. She is already an A rank hunter when she is at 15 years old and she became an S rank at the age of 22. She looks exactly like Irene and she has the same sexy body as Irene but she looks more beautiful and more sexy than Irene.

THUD!

Robert look in front of him the thorned bull is dead with many lightning spears all on his body. The lightning spears disspeared leaving holes with blood flowing out of the thorned bull.

Irene floats down and touch the ground, walk to the dead monster. People began to cheer and walk to her to ask for pictures and autographs but the securities come quickly blocking the civilians way to her.

The reporters began to report and footage the scene of lightning empress and her work on stopping the invasion of the monsters. The dungeon where monsters come out began to destroyed on it's own.

Robert see this began to go home. 'I hope we will meet each other in the future.' He is interested to meet the lightning empress and more strong hunters in the future.
