David's apology
Aaron: what are you waiting for? Go marry her.
Zain: I want to marry her before tonight but you know I'm not Aaron. I'm Zain. I'll wait for her response. When she'll agree to the marriage only then I'll marry her.
Aaron: hahaha, grapes are sour. Say straight, you don't have guts.
Zain: ok tell me the simplest way to marry her as soon as possible.
Aaron: just ask her for Nikkah. It's as simple as that.
Zain: what if she denied it?
Aaron: See, for her positive response, you need to work on yourself. By the way, are you sure she doesn't have any emotions toward you?
Zain (thinking): sometimes I think she is neutral but last time in the hospital, I sensed her changed behavior. It might be because of the situation but I could see her concern and affection.
Aaron: Just propose and ask for Nikkah.
Zain: by the way, may I know why this man is interested in my marriage?
Aaron: I want you to live with me after marriage.
Zain: what? Why?
Aaron: because my wife wants that. And I'm sure Bella would also like that.
Zain: oh, I see, then why not in my home? Why it's yours?
Aaron: we can switch from time to time.
Zain: hmmm ok. I have no problem as far as Bella is happy.
Aaron smiled.
Zain: to be honest, I never thought you'll share your precious home with me just for the demand of your wife. I can guess, extreme love can be dangerous.
Aaron: hahahaha. Yeah, it's not good for one's health. Stay away from it, if you can.
Meanwhile;
Emma asked a guy to marry Carla who once proposed to Carla in the classroom. She planned everything and talked to Aina and Bella.
Everyone stopped talking to David and started preparing for Carla's engagement.
The day of the engagement arrived and Carla was dressed beautifully. David was informed by one of his class fellow about the engagement. He immediately rushed toward Carla's home. He saw Carla sitting peacefully on the couch. A tear escaped from his eye.
His lover, the most beautiful girl on the planet was going to be someone else's bride. He kneel and watched her for quite a long time. He didn't utter a word because of guilt, regrets, and loss. He felt as if his life has stopped. He isn't going to live again. Something very close to his heart has been lost. Something too precious. He lost her.
Carla didn't spare a glance at him.
Her fiancee arrived on time and sat beside her. It was disgusting to David but he controlled him because he was going to be committed to her.
Their engagement was finally announced. He took out a ring and slide it into her finger. Carla also slide a ring on his finger and everyone clapped.
David left the home and drove the car at full speed. He reached the bank of the river where he broke stones. He smoked till late at night.
Next morning;
Aina called David.
On phone calls;
Aina: how are you, David?
David: fine. What about you?
Aina: I'm good. Can you come to my place?
David: sure.
Aina: ok. I'm waiting.
A few hours later;
Aina: your face is telling everything. Don't hide anything from your sister. I can read your face.
David: everyone can read but no one understands.
Aina: what's wrong with you? Huh? If you love her then why did you leave her? Why you're torturing yourself now?
David: Aina you know how much l love her. I just can't control myself.
Aina: be brave and get someone to marry so that....
David (cut her): no one can take her place. No one.
Aina: ok then marry her.
David (excitedly): Would she agree?
Aina: dude you have to work hard now. You hurt her. Now it's time to pay back. Plead her or let her marry someone else. The choice is yours.
David: so you won't help me right?
Aina: if I won't help you then who will? You know Emma has strictly forbidden us to talk to you. I'm talking to you secretly today. If she gets to know me, you know what will she do to me.
David: I know, it's all her planning.
Aina: Anyways, I can arrange a secret meeting for you with Carla.
David: Thank you, Aina. I would be grateful to you.
Aina: Anytime bro.
Next day:
David is waiting in a coffee shop for Carla while Carla has no idea about it.
Carla reached the coffee shop with Aina. Aina texted David who was already waiting for them.
Carla: why are we in the coffee shop? Didn't we come for shopping?
Aina: it's a very famous coffee shop. I like their coffee very much. We'll go shopping after it.
Aina asked for a washroom and disappeared into the coffee shop.
David came from nowhere and sat in front of Carla.
The moment she recognized him, she stood up to go but David held her hand in time.
David: sit. I want to talk to you.
Carla: There is nothing to talk about and please leave my hand.
David: I won't.
Carla: Don't make a fuss David. Just leave.
David: you have to listen to me if you don't want a fuss.
Carla sat on the chair.
Carla: say, I'm listening.
David: I don't know where to start. I just wanna apologize for whatever I did. You know a person can never be in the same state all the time. I know my behavior was unapologetic but I wanna let you know that it was just out of guilt and stress. Every human has a different approach toward a certain situation. I couldn't hold that situation. Maybe I wasn't brave enough but my love for you was never less. My love has nothing to do with any kind of situation. It was and still same and will be the same forever.
Carla: Ok. No need to be sorry. I already forgave you. But don't expect more than that.
