41 Who!?

'PAK'

A crisp sound of a slap was heard along the hallways of a the academy, the onlookers found a strange woman and a familiar boy that had been the spotlight ever since he had arrived.

They saw how the woman was flung far away with a clear loud slap, she landed a few feet away, they wondered who was this blatant woman and also reassured that the familiar boy really was ruthless as the what the rumors made him it out to be.

The strange woman, who had blonde hair, blue eyes, immediately stood up and ran towards the familiar boy again, this time she opened her arms and yelled so loud that it could be heard from far away.

"You're the one the Lord has sent to me!"

With a crazed look she jumped towards the Lucas who slapped her since he was surprised who jumped at him and with such force that he was dragged down.

Before the woman landed on Lucas, Emily arrived in front of her and kicked her in the abdomen which sent her flying again.

The woman landed on the garden wall, they could hear a loud grunt when she fell down.

The woman immediately healed herself and got ready to jump at Lucas again, she looked crazed and rabid as her eyes looked liked they had stars in them.

"Aim for the nape of her neck, she's going to continue healing herself."

Diene told Emily and Lucas as the woman rushed towards them.

Lucas sighed and told Emily to move and be ready, Lucas opened his arms to receive the girl, the girl looked excited and rushed even faster, when she was already a few inches away from Lucas.

When the woman was near Lucas she was elated as she saw how Lucas smiled at her, it was then her surroundings turned black.

I, Diene, Emily, Sepia, Adin, Cerise and Ran looked at the woman who jumped me from behind earlier, currently she was laying at the infirmary, as for why we were here its because its my responsibility for knocking her out cold I guess.

"You guys can return back to the office and take care of the finances for this years schools festival."

"I guess I'll do that."

Ran who had been doing everything agreed, as long as he got good food and payment he would do it, Adin and Cerise followed after him as they knew Ran would ransack the food again and make a mess if he was left alone.

"Emily, Sepia, can you two also leave the three of us alone? This is something related to the country, again."

I had to say it, although I wished nothing than to tell Emily everything but I couldn't risk it, but if there is a chance I would, but not everything especially about Tear and the truth of how I got to be here.

"I'll be waiting Husband, remember your promise."

"Alright."

Emily stood still not moving, but her eyes wanted something, I instinctively knew what it was, of course, being separated for a month didn't help us so I kissed her forehead before she smiled and left.

Sepia stood still for a while, but I patted her head, how can I not see through her feelings? She instantly lit up and ran away following Emily.

"You don't need to defend yourself, now tell me her name."

Of course I knew who she was, I just had to ask Diene, she had warned me a week ago that the saintess was coming but right now she was just a saintess candidate, one of the many candidates.

"Angelica Ada, as you've seen she's a weird girl who follows her heart, or rather the word."

"I did slap the crap out of her since I felt a weird gaze getting nearer."

We both nodded and looked at Angelica who was sleeping peacefully as she hugged the pillow and was drooling.

I chopped her abdomen, it was a hit strong enough to wake her up.

She looked at us as if we had ruined it, when she saw me her eyes lit up and wanted to Jump at me again.

"If you do it I'll knock you out again."

"Ah!"

She restrained herself and started looking at where she was, she then calmed and as if suddenly her aura had changed, she instantly prayed loud enough that the two of us could hear her.

"May he bless you for blessing me with your smile."

"I'll take care of it from here Lucas."

Diene summoned her sword and smacked the handle on her head.

"Hey!"

"Shut it! Why are you here"

"I refuse to answer."

This time Diene infused mana on the handle and smacked it straight, It was kind of harsh but it was working?

"No! Please!"

"Shut or I won't give you the satisfaction!"

"Tell me what I want to hear then I'll consider it"

Diene then gave me the sword I looked at it then looked at me, I could swear I saw Angelica look at me weirdly, did I really write her this way? All I remember that she had an eccentric personality, perhaps.

"I'll tell you!"

"Why are you here."

"I asked what should I do with my life? At first I had received answers but when I was fasting it became clear, I saw a face."

Well I wouldn't say I was surprised but which God, I'm sure it isn't the one from Tear since he had said that he would stay out of it.

Diene looked at me weirdly wondering what to do next, so I stepped up, I gave the sword back to Diene and coated my hand with mana.

"So what is it that you wanted that I was the one you saw."

"I-I!"

"Come on tell me."

I removed the coating and she looked frantic.

"I asked on how would I be able to live happily since I don't want to serve the church but also in some way serve it?"

"You just don't want to be a pawn for short?"

"Exactly! I don't want to be saintess! Its too much of a hassle since I need to keep up appearances!"

"Okay."

I slapped her face that it despite I hit her hard she felt relieved and I wouldn't even say it as I looked away, even Diene did, damn another weird female heroine that I made, now I know why Leon ran away from her.

She then passed out after gasping.

"What a pervert as usual."

"Was she always like this?"

"Yes."

"Did she try attacking Leon?"

"No, well, she did but, I was the one who had to control her by hitting her."

"That's a lot of work, no wonder you were worried."

"Its like I'm back to babysitting another baby."

Angelica had woken up and was on my back, she was rubbing her flat washboard on my back, I didn't say anything as we were currently in the office after I told the staff to transport her there since the Office was big enough that it even had it owns mini infirmary.

It was a good thing she knew restraint but its annoying, I think I made her annoying on purpose if I recall, no I did make her annoying.

It was also not like I was acting dissatisfied but she would just try to climb back which was annoying even if Emily did it again it looked like she placed a spell on the nape of her neck that we couldn't break.

"You know if you want me to like you or treat you, you shouldn't be doing this, besides."

"Besides what Lucas?"

"We only met for a day! Have some shame! I can't eat everything all at once!"

Crap I let out my inner thoughts, Emily looked at me with a smile, Sepia turned red, Diene threw a pillow at me to which I dodge and the woman behind me.

"Eat everything?"

"Yes I can't eat if you're like this."

I got snapped back to reality when Angelica finally removed herself but she then tugged my sleeve.

"What?"

"Are the foods here tasty?"

"Yes?"

Diene who regained her composure stood up and dragged Angelica.

"I know, come, let's eat."

"Yay!"

Seriously she looks like a child and Diene being a mother, was this really a saintess candidate? Compared to the other girls she was still developing like she was in her teens, maybe she still is?

"Yes?"

I gulped as I looked at Emily who licked her lips.

"About what you said."

"Ah did I say something?"

"You!"

"Come let's eat at your favorite place I'll buy you a meal, come with us also Sepia."

"Okay!"

As Lucas went out he was being observed by.
