Helicopter parent and a Guardian pet...

(The next day…)

It was a bright and sunny day, and thankfully it was a Saturday and there was no school that day. Everyone was doing their own thing which left Grace to do one of her favorite pastimes… napping in a tree. Thanks to Yaoyorozu, Grace was able to have a beautiful new sundress on. Though she has only been there a day, everyone treated her as if she had been there all her life.

"Hey, Grace, you got a minute?" Grace opened her eyes and lazily looked down to see Jiro standing at the base of the tree looking up at her.

"Jiro, wasn't it?" Grace gently fluttered down from her perch, "Whatcha need?"

Jiro smiled mischievously as she quickly put a girly looking straw sun hat on Grace's head, "Momo made that for you, she wanted to get your opinion on it since she really doesn't know your taste in fashion."

Grace gently touches the bright pink ribbon on the simple yet elegant white straw hat, she gave a warm smile, "It's beautiful, thank you so much!"

"I see you've already adjusted pretty well considering the circumstances." Grace recognized that voice and as she turned around she was greeted by Mr.Aizawa holding an all black cat in his arms, "Question and I know this might sound strange… but is this cat a friend of yours?"

The cat opened its yellow-green eyes lazily and yawned widely. The cat was definitely a female and she seemed to be content being held by Mr.Aizawa.

Grace smiled and let out a soft giggle, "It seems my aunt Artemis is trying to keep an eye on me."

"Oh! She is soooo cute, Grace,  does she have a name?" In a flash Mina was on the scene and petting the adorable black cat.

"Well let me ask her and find out." Grace said as she touched her locket with one hand and held the other hand out toward the cat, "the name etched on her heart is… Lunamara."

The cat named Lunamara squirmed in Aizawa's arms and then leapt onto Grace's shoulders with the poise of a graceful ballerina. She nuzzled Grace's cheek which made her giggle a bit.

"Normally I would say no pets allowed… but I'm guessing she's more than just a pet, right?" Mr.Aizawa says with a smirk.

Grace gave a bright smile, "She's more of a Guardian creature than a pet… think of her as a bodyguard for heroes."

As if on cue, the small black kitty let out an ear-splitting roar. Everyone who was inside rushed outdoors to see what made the noise, only to see a dainty black cat perched on Grace's shoulder.

Grace couldn't help but giggle, "Sorry about that. She's just announcing her presence here to the Gods."

Everyone went slacked-jawed at how Grace treated a little black cat who can roar like a feral beast… like it was another cat on a Saturday. She casually walked back to the dorms with Lunamara perched on her shoulder, and it just so happened that a group of boys, which included Bakugo that day, was coming back to the dorms at the exact same time from doing laps at the school's pool.

"Hey Bakugo, aren't you going to introduce us to your girlfriend?" Teased Kirishima with a smirk.

Bakugo tensed up, "W-what girlfriend?! I don't have a girlfriend!"

His reaction made everyone start to laugh. Bakugo turned red and just scowled while averting his gaze. It seemed that they were having fun at his expense. He started to walk faster and made a beeline for the dormitories, but as he was about to open the front doors another hand was there at the exact moment he reached for the handle. He looked up to see that it was none other than Grace… and for some reason she had a black cat perched on her shoulder. Both of their eyes widened at that moment and it was almost as if time stood still. Unfortunately the moment was broken by Lunamara hissing at Bakugo, and that pretty much brought the two of them back to reality.

"Oh, ummm, hi Bakugo." Grace said shyly as she fidgeted with her fingers nervously as she tried really hard not to stare at his exposed chest area which was dripping wet and well defined.

Bakugo smirks as an idea pops in his head, "What's up Grace? You seem a little bit nervous, is something wrong?"

After saying that he leaned in close to Grace's ear and whispered, "If you wanna do some training all you have to do is ask…"

Her eyes widened as she remembered the last time they tried 'training', [He couldn't mean… does he… does he actually like me?!]

Grace began to turn crimson, "Ummm, B-bakugo, I was wondering if y-you would do me the honor of being my quest companion in my God-hood restoration trial?"

Bakugo didn't know much about her culture or even what she was for that matter, but one thing he did know was that if she needed his help he would literally do anything for her… if it meant making her happy.

He cleared his throat in an attempt to clear his head then said, "Ask Yaoyorozu to make you some clothes to exercise in. Make sure to be ready for anything and everything."

Grace gave a broad smile, then took off racing inside to find Momo. He chuckled at her eagerness but then he felt a chill wash over him. He whipped around to come face to face with a very tall, broad shouldered, black hair, and ivory skinned man dressed in Roman battle armor. The man's blood red eyes felt like they were going to burn a hole through him, and there was something familiar about this strange man that Bakugo couldn't quite place. The man loomed over Bakugo and eyed him up and down, then he scoffed.

"I don't understand what my little Rose bud sees in a weakling like you." The man scoffed as he stood to his full height, "She must have landed too hard on arrival."

This ticked Bakugo off but before he could say anything another person came from out of the sky. Literally the guy just fell outta the sky and landed a few feet away from the porch. He was handsome, had red eyes, blonde hair, and golden wings.

"Father, this is not your department in which to interfere with." The golden winged young man said with a firm tone as he addressed the other red eyed man, who was apparently his father.

"If any mortal even dares to court my daughter, your little sister Eros if I seem to recall, they have to be judged by the pantheon before any commitment is set forth. By law of the Gods." The red eyed man now faced the one called Eros and smirked arrogantly.

"Isn't it convenient for you to all of a sudden follow and quote the law of the Gods when Rosie's involved but any other time the great Aries God of War is all about breaking the rules." Eros said as he rolled his eyes in annoyance.

[Wait… this man is a God of War?!?!] Bakugo's eyes widened as he listened to the two Gods argue, [What's this nonsense about me having to be judged? Do they somehow know Grace?]

"Anyways father, Uncle Hades has already done a thorough investigation of this world and has given this specific place and its people the all clear for Rosie to start her hero trials at… and he specifically said that no matter how much you rant and rage, the documents have the official seals of both Hera and Zeus. So you are out ranked here."

Aries clenched his jaw in frustration, "Fine! I'll consent to my precious Rose bud staying in this backwater village… but this weakling better prove his worth as a quest companion or I swear upon Kronos's grave that I will not rest till this maggot perishes a thousand deaths."

With that said Aries disappears in a swirling cloud of deep red smoke. The man known as Eros walks over to a wide eyed Bakugo and places a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry, I know you'll do just fine." Eros smiles kindly, "Please be gentle with my little sister… she's a bit new to actually loving someone so treat her kindly."

And with that Eros disappears in a swirling cloud of pink smoke.

[What… the hell… just happened!] Bakugo thought to himself.

Little did he know this was only the beginning of the troubles that he and Grace were going to face.
