176 Chapter 176: A Miracle in a Single Draw

Looking at the four fragments of the four people sold in the ninja shop, Charles didn't have an urgent need to buy any for the moment.

When he would need more pieces, he could directly buy them from the Ninja Shop. Or, when the option to choose himself became available, he could just focus on recruiting a powerful ninja like Kakashi Hatake, Uchiha Itachi, or Jiraiya.

Using the power of "pay-to-win," he could spend half a month or a month to get them directly. But for now, it was still not a consideration.

After exiting the ninja shop, Charles looked at the remaining 24 energy blocks on the table and remembered that he still has 30 energy blocks stored in his storage space.

Thinking about these energy blocks, Charles didn't hesitate and immediately took them all out for recharging.

Ding! Detected energy, would you like to recharge?

Recharge!

Ding! Recharge successful, received 9,720 gold coins!

Seeing that 54 energy blocks yielded 9,720 gold coins, Charles at that moment truly appreciated the power of double rewards. He was very satisfied with the result. Looking at the gold coin bar, it now displayed 23,984 gold coins.

Seeing this number, a smile appeared on Charles's face. Now, whether it was to unlock the battle slots or to recruit Tsunade to join the team, he was filled with confidence.

However, the second recharge did not raise his VIP level, which didn't surprise Charles.

Based on the several VIP level upgrades he had experienced, Charles inferred that the requirements for VIP levels were twenty times higher than what he had encountered in his previous life of playing mobile games.

This meant that reaching VIP level 5 would require a recharge of 20,000 gold coins, while reaching VIP level 6 would require a recharge of 40,000 gold coins.

With this upgrade not reaching VIP 6, Charles wasn't surprised.

Without hesitation, Charles exited the system and prepared to wash up before initiating the recruitment for Tsunade.

Leaving the reception room and looking at Shizune at the front desk, Charles ordered, "Destroy all the briefcases in the meeting room."

"Yes, Lord Charles!"

After instructing Shizune, Charles walked past the rest area and saw the laptop on standby mode due to not being used for a long time. He walked over and closed the laptop before taking it in his hands and heading to his bedroom upstairs.

As for the Supreme Merlin's Dragon Ring, it was unfortunately missed by Charles. He would only be able to see it again when he opened the computer next time.

Returning to the room, Charles threw the laptop on the bedside table and then went to the bathroom to take a good bath.

After the bath and changing clothes, Charles sat in the center of the bed and consciously entered the system space, looking at the two ninja recruitment scrolls he had just obtained with great excitement.

With a single wave, Charles purchased eight and directly deducted 1344 gold coins. With this, Charles Doyle once again had 10 ninja recruitment scrolls, while his gold coins decreased to 22,640.

Looking at his 20,000-plus gold coins, Charles thought to himself that while the luck might not change, spending more certainly could save the day. With so much money today, he wasn't going to pray to anyone else.

Without any further thought, Charles lay down directly on the bed and consciously entered the system space.

"Ninja recruitment, ten consecutive draws, go!"

The whirlpool symbol of the Land of Whirlpools appeared before his eyes, emitting a peculiar light. After a dazzling light, the recruitment results appeared before Charles Doyle.

Ding! Obtained B-rank ninja, Gaara, 2 fragments!

Ding!Obtained C-rank ninja, Iruka, 1 fragment!

Ding! Obtained B-rank ninja, Tenten, 1 fragment!

Ding! Obtained B-rank ninja, Sannin Tsunade, 4 fragments!

Ding! Obtained C-rank ninja, Hyuga Neji, 2 fragments!

Ding! Obtained B-rank ninja, young Kakashi Hatake, 4 fragments!

Ding! Obtained C-rank ninja, Rock Lee, 2 fragments!

Ding! Obtained B-rank ninja, Hinata Hyuga, 2 fragments!

Ding! Obtained B-rank ninja, Hinata Hyuga, 2 fragments!

Ding! Obtained A-rank ninja, Kurotsutchi from Boruto, 4 fragments.

Recruitment completed, Charles glanced at his summoning interface and quickly found the result of Tsunade's recruitment from the ten draws, acquiring 4 fragments.

It wasn't a terrible result, at least not bottom-tier with just 1 fragment. Charles could accept such results.

Thinking that Tsunade's fragments were now at 36, Charles realized that another draw would probably be enough, unless he was extremely unlucky.

Confirming Tsunade's recruitment result, Charles looked at the results of the other recruits: Gaara, Kakashi, Hinata, and Kurotsuchi were all good, decent results from the draw.

After reviewing all the information, Charles knew that this recruitment did not reach the required number of fragments for any of the ninjas.

With a total of 24 ninja fragments from the ten consecutive draws, including 4 A-rank, 15 B-rank, and 5 C-rank fragments, he was only 2 fragments short of Young Kakashi's 40 fragments and had already obtained over half of Tsuchikage Kurotsuchi's 21 fragments.

Taking all the ninja fragments, Charles looked at his gold coins. Seeing the 20,000-plus count, he then looked at the single recruitment option in the recruitment interface.

Thinking that he had never done a single draw, and considering that the first draw's luck was usually good, Charles decided to go all out today and try his luck with a single draw, using his 20,000-plus gold coins as a safety net.

With this in mind, Charles spent 168 gold coins directly to purchase a ninja recruitment scroll and then used a single draw.

Ding! Obtained A-rank ninja, Darui, 4 fragments.

Seeing that his luck was still good, Charles decided to make the most of it and purchased another ninja recruitment scroll, trying his luck with another single draw.

Ding! Obtained B-rank ninja, Sannin Tsunade, 5 fragments!

Wow, this was a big draw! Seeing this result, a smile appeared on Charles's face.

It seemed like miracles could happen with single draws!

Now, not only did he collect the 40 fragments for Tsunade, but he also had one extra! Seeing this result, Charles didn't linger on the ninja recruitment interface and directly exited.

He then opened his ninja roster and, skipping over a few of the other ninjas he already had, focused on Tsunade's icon.

Although Tsunade's icon wasn't illuminated, a star appeared on it.

Clicking on Tsunade's icon, Charles saw "41/40" written on the fragment column, asking if he wanted to recruit the ninja.

Without any hesitation, Charles clicked "recruit."

Ding! Congratulations, Charles Doyle, for successfully recruiting the B-rank ninja, Konoha Sannin Tsunade!
