82 Chapter 082: Matt Murdock on the Roadblock

Sasuke took a lightning-fast step forward, ready to apprehend the woman.

However, when Madame Gao saw that Sasuke had no intention of communicating, she simply waved her hand, releasing an invisible force that sent Sasuke flying, crashing into the corridor wall.

Madame Gao was not an ordinary person either; she possessed telekinesis, the power to move objects with her mind. This time, she had used her ability to move Sasuke away and crash him into the wall.

Sasuke, who had fallen from the wall, got up and shook off the dust from his clothes.

At this moment, Rock Lee also arrived, and upon seeing Sasuke being sent flying, he thought they were facing a formidable opponent. He was about to join the fight when Sasuke stopped him.

"Rock Lee, I intend to capture Madame Gao myself. Please do not interfere."

Hearing Sasuke's words, Rock Lee nodded without objection and stood by, indicating that he would not get involved.

Sasuke adjusted his clothing, his expression cold as he said, "You're different from the others we've encountered before, but these differences alone are not enough."

With those words, Sasuke lunged at Madame Gao again. This time, he was even faster and with more force.

Madame Gao, realizing that Sasuke was attacking once more, didn't have time to speak. She immediately used her telekinesis to create a barrier, attempting to block Sasuke from approaching.

Sensing the invisible force in the air, Sasuke quickly shouted, "Release!"

With a powerful whip kick, he shattered the invisible barrier before him and reached out toward Madame Gao's shoulder. He refrained from directly attacking her because he feared that a single punch might kill the elderly woman, leading to a mission failure.

Madame Gao groaned and was forced backward, her telekinetic defense shattered, causing her significant pain.

While her telekinetic abilities were not capable of lifting several tons of weight, her telekinetic barriers were as sturdy as a real wall. Yet, Sasuke had kicked through it.

Taking advantage of the moment when she was thrown off balance, Madame Gao drew a longsword hidden within her cane and swiftly swung it at Sasuke.

Although Madame Gao was a martial arts master with a robust physique, her speed paled in comparison to Uchiha Sasuke's.

Sasuke, seeing the woman attack, swiftly grabbed her wrist as she swung the sword, and then applied force.

"Crack!"

Madame Gao's wrist broke from the pressure, and the longsword fell to the ground. Sasuke then performed a back throw, slamming her forcefully onto the ground.

Sasuke had sensed something unusual when he made contact with Madame Gao. Despite her aged appearance, her physical strength was greater than the Hand members they had encountered earlier.

Therefore, he didn't hold back much, but just enough to not accidentally kill her.

Madame Gao landed on the ground, enduring the pain from her broken wrist and the impact of the throw. She didn't make a sound, as the pain from her telekinetic barriers being shattered earlier far surpassed this.

Seeing Madame Gao on the ground, Sasuke knew she was still resisting. He released her wrist and prepared for her next move.

Madame Gao, lying on the floor, suppressed her pain and once again activated her telekinesis. She levitated a sofa nearby and hurled it toward Sasuke.

Sasuke, witnessing her renewed attack, didn't hold back. He delivered a powerful kick that shattered the incoming sofa into a cloud of foam and splinters.

With her attack thwarted once more, Madame Gao pushed herself up, ignoring her pain. She then spoke, "Who are you, and why are you attacking me and the Hand?"

Uchiha Sasuke scornfully replied, "You talk too much!"

Without giving Madame Gao a chance to speak, Sasuke moved swiftly and appeared by her side. He then threw a punch at her.

His fist struck Madame Gao's shoulder, and Sasuke immediately felt something was amiss. The invisible telekinetic force reappeared, blocking his attack for Madame Gao.

Although her defense had blocked Sasuke's punch, Madame Gao was in pain. Overusing her telekinesis had caused her nose to bleed.

However, Sasuke didn't give her a chance to catch her breath. He followed up with a series of punches, culminating in a powerful blow that shattered Madame Gao's telekinesis. She was sent flying and crashed into the wall.

A loud crash echoed as Madame Gao fell from the wall, blood spraying from her mouth. She lay motionless on the ground, unconscious.

Approaching her, Sasuke extended his hand to check her neck, ensuring she was still alive.

He sighed in relief, knowing that Charles had wanted Madame Gao alive. The battle had been frustrating for Sasuke because he had to restrain his attacks, avoiding the use of techniques or excessive force that might have killed her.

Rock Lee saw that Sasuke had finished the battle and suggested, "Sasuke, since the fight is over, shall we take her and head back?"

Before Sasuke could respond, Iruka, who had just arrived, said, "Let me check her first."

Iruka stepped forward, examined Madame Gao's jaw to ensure there were no poison capsules, and then gagged her mouth with a piece of cloth to prevent any sudden suicide attempts or cries for help during transit.

He retrieved a bundle of rope from his ninja pouch and began tying Madame Gao's limbs securely. Once everything was in order, Iruka spoke, "Now, there should be no unexpected incidents during the journey."

Sasuke had no objections. In matters like these, he displayed a mature and experienced approach. He then hoisted Madame Gao onto his back, ready to deliver her to Madame Gao.

Iruka looked at Sasuke carrying Madame Gao and said, "Rock Lee, Sasuke, now that the mission is complete, let's head back to the agency."

He then addressed Parker, "Parker, you've done well today. You can return to the Summoning World for now."

Parker nodded and, with a "pop" sound, turned into smoke, disappearing back into the Summoning World.

Without further delay, Iruka and the others began their descent down the building.

Meanwhile, Matt Murdock had made his way to the building where Madame Gao was located. He sensed the stillness inside the building but detected an overpowering scent of blood. Cautiously, he entered the building.

As for Iruka and his team descending from the top floor, along with the bound Madame Gao, Matt Murdock sensed their presence and their intentions.

Matt had only recently taken up the mantle of a vigilante, not knowing much about Madame Gao, who had only recently appeared in Hell's Kitchen. He did not recognize her and thought she might be a kidnap victim.

Now, the three of them met in the ground floor lobby. Matt Murdock immediately spoke up, "Release the person you're holding. Hell's Kitchen isn't a place for your violence."

Sasuke, Rock Lee, and Iruka, wearing masks, frowned slightly. Sasuke, in particular, mistook Matt Murdock for a Hand member due to his unusual attire. To them, Matt looked like someone wearing strange clothing.

Sasuke recalled Charles's orders to eliminate anyone who blocked their way and said, "Rock Lee, handle this guy. Dispose of him quickly so we can proceed."

Sasuke assumed that Matt Murdock was an enemy from the Hand due to his unconventional appearance.
