Chapter 028: Kill Until They Shiver in Fear

When Sasuke Uchiha was initially brought into this world by Charles, he had been quite panicked. 

He couldn't activate his two tomoe Sharingan for some reason.

It wasn't just the two tomoe; even a single tomoe was unattainable, as if he had returned to the time before his Sharingan awakening.

Meeting their expectant gazes, Charles took a sip of milk before saying, "Kill. Kill until they shiver in fear, until they dare not take any more missions!"

Although Charles's tone wasn't fierce at all, a solemn and murderous aura emanated from him. The assassins who were having breakfast instantly stopped their actions, and the entire dining area fell silent.

Seeing the hushed dining area, Ginny didn't mind and smiled at Charles. "I hope there won't be too many fools knocking on our doors. Otherwise, I'm afraid the assassins from the Continental Hotel won't be enough to take all the other contracts."

Iruka chimed in, "If there are too many contracts, they can come to our Office. After all, we're in need of missions."

For a qualified ninja, especially someone like Iruka who was in charge of the office, more missions were always better.

Arriving in this new world, Iruka was interested in many novel things, which led to a significant consumption of his funds.

Hearing Iruka's words, Charles chuckled. "Don't worry, our missions will become more and more plentiful in the future."

The assassins present in the dining area listened to the conversation between Charles and his group. Some had serious expressions, while others showed disdain. However, everyone present acknowledged Charles Doyle's strength.

After finishing breakfast, Charles led the group to the mission hall of the Continental Hotel.

At this moment, there weren't many people in the mission hall, even to the point of being sparse. 

Only a few staff members were present, and there were only a handful of assassins. After all, it was quite rare for assassins to show up in the early morning to check bounties.

The group found a round table and sat down, looking at the huge electronic screen on the wall that displayed real-time scrolling updates of information.

This was the Continental Hotel's free mission area. As long as one was a registered member of the Continental Hotel, they could take on missions listed there. 

One only needed to pay one gold coin, and anyone could post a bounty mission in the free area.

However, the mission issuer needed to deposit the bounty amount into the designated account of the Continental Hotel. After completing the mission, the commission would be distributed by the Continental Hotel.

The advantage was that even if the mission issuer died, the assassins who completed the task wouldn't have to worry about not receiving the reward. The assassins only needed to pay a ten percent commission from the bounty.

In addition to the free mission area, the Continental Hotel also had a bounty leaderboard that listed the top ten individuals with the highest bounties.

Unfortunately, Charles and his group's bounty had been divided among five people, otherwise, with a 10 million bounty, Charles would have easily secured the first position.

As for the expulsion list, not a single person was on it.

Looking at the expulsion list, Charles knew that John Wick's name would soon be on it, becoming the only person to get off the list alive.

Observing the sparsely populated mission hall, Ginny couldn't help but ask, "Charles, why are we here?"

"To wait, wait for more people to arrive."

Hearing Charles's answer, Ginny didn't ask further, and the five of them waited together.

Soon, news about Charles Doyle's group appearing in the Continental Hotel's mission hall spread. 

Assassins who received the news began to gather towards the mission hall. Some came to watch the excitement, while others wanted to see how Charles would handle the situation.

There were even some who considered coming to confirm Charles's whereabouts, intending to strike when Charles's group leaves the Continental Hotel.
