Adventurer’s Guild

For the first time, I got permission to go outside the city.

Of course, that's while being escorted by Milly and Nina.

Mom prepared for me leather armor and robes for children and short swords

as weapons for going outside the outer wall of the territory.

I immediately wore them inside my room.

"Cain, very nice."

Sylvia gave me her approval.

"Because it's your first time outside, even if you're just going around the

wall it's still dangerous so be careful."

"Yeah, I know. If I get hurt I won't be able to go out anymore so I'll be

careful."

When I went outside wearing my equipment. My mother Sarah and my

sister Reine were waiting.

"Cain looks good. However, there are magical beasts outside that's very

different from what you've been practicing. So be careful."

"Mother, I'm going now. I'll return in the evening."

I chased after Milly and Nina.

I went through the gate and walked through the territory escorted by the

two.

The main street was paved with cobblestones, and there are many food

stalls around.

The people are very lively and you can see that the city is thriving. While I

was convinced that my father was an extremely decent lord, believing it and

seeing its proof first hand is different after all.

"If you keep acting like that people will think that you're from the

countryside.

Since your parents are the lords and you might inherit the land so you

shouldn't act so surprised."

"No, I'm only the third son so I won't inherit the land. I'm going to be an

adventurer when I grow up."

"The lords here are well known because they are good in politics. We

moved here from another city because it's safer and the forest is nearby, so

the guild has a lot of requests. "

"Yeah. It 's easy to live here. And the food is good too"

Both Milly and Nina seem to think that this city is good. That means that

my father's policy is working.

I walked satisfiedly.

"Oh, if we're going to the outer wall, I'd like to stop by the guild. Maybe

there's some new information that we didn't know."

"I want to go to the guild!"

Cain's eyes shone as he answered immediately.

Immediately a sign with a sword crossing a shield can be seen. It's a big

building.

Cain opened the door and entered the building.

There was a reception desk on the front, and on the right side was a pile of

paper sticking on a board. I think that's supposed to be requests on the

bulletin board.

On the left is a waiting area and a restaurant.

Some adventurers are already drinking in the morning.

They went to the reception desk together.

"Rudy, I'd like to ask you a few questions, but is now a good time?"

The dog-eared receptionist raised his face and answers with a smile.

"Oh, Milly yeah now's a good time. What would you like to hear about

today?"

"I was thinking about training outside the outer wall, I came to see if there's

any dangerous monster there."

"Just some Horn Rabbit and occasionally a wolf, and so there's no new

information about it. But today I see you're bringing a cute child with you."

Milly whisperred to the receptionist.

"He's the lord's son who is being commissioned to us. We're going outside

to train him."

Rudy hurries up and bows down to Cain.

It seems that he wasn't aware that Cain is the lord's son.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know that you're the lord's son, I 'm a receptionist

in the adventurers guild and my name is Rudy."

"My name is Cain von Sylford. I 'm still five years old and am unable to

register as an adventurer, but I'm planning to become an adventurer once

I'm ten years old."

"Oh, so polite. Please feel free to call me Rudy."

"Well, then shall we go ?"

As Milly and the others were going to exit the guild.

A voice came from one of the adventurers drinking at the restaurant.

"Hey! Isn't it Milly? What are you doing with a brat? Stop babysitting him

and let's drink together."

"That's right, leave the kid and have a drink here! And while you're at it

Accompany me for the night."

Both Milly and Nina are having a disgusted face.

"We are currently doing a request, and if it's a partner you want, you can go

to the brothel."

Nina returned his words with no interest.

A man grabbed Milly's arm when she tried to get out.

"Why should we listen to you?"

"Let me go."

Milly says.

"Ah? Why should I a C rank listen to you? Aren't you a D-rank? You need

to listen to what people above you are saying!"

Something classic came!! Cain was excited.

But if he keeps going like this, we won't be able to go outside town today.

"I'm sorry. I have a training session with her now so could you let her go

now?"

Cain went forward and hits the arm of the man holding Milly.

He had physical techniques from the war god so It's a power unthinkable

for a five-year-old.

"Hey. What are you doing ?! I won't hold back even if you're just a kid! A

cheeky brat like you needs some education!"

The man tried to punch Cain.

However, Cain made use of his physical techniques to gain an advantage.

He entered the opponent's blindspot and kicked his knee.

"I'll make you pay for it!"

He pulled his sword out and started attacking Cain.

"Watch out!"

Milly screams, but because he's drunk, he swung the sword carelessly and

it's easy to avoid it.

Cain Pulled out his short sword and hit the man's chin with the sheath.

The man lost his consciousness and fell down.

The C class adventurer was defeated by a five-year-old child, the

surroundings were stunned and stopped their drinking.

"What are you doing!!!"

Suddenly a loud sound came, everyone in there went silent.

There was a man with shaved head in his 40s, completely different from the

fallen adventurer.

"Guild Master!"

Rudy raised her voice.

"Rudy, what happened?"

Rudy explained what had happened before.

"I see, let's move the guy from here for the time being."

"The third son of the lord, if your planning to be an adventurer in the future

I'll be sure to welcome you with open hands. If you're only five years old

and is already this strong, I'm sure that you will become an S rank

adventurer in the future."

After stroking Cain's head, he laughed and went back.

"Cain, I'm sorry. Gilman is always like that."

Worriedly, Rudy bows her head down.

"It's okay. Everything is fine. I'm not injured anyway so it's fine. I just want

to go outside as fast as I can."

"Cain, Thank you."

Nina hugged him.

I was surprised when she hugged me.

It was a pity that the elves were slender and lacked chest volume.

"For the time being let's go outside."

We exited the guild and went to the gate.

"But Cain, you can use swords and magic and even hand to hand combat."

"Cain. Strong."

"I learned it by reading the books at home!"

"As if you can beat C rank adventurers just by reading the books at your

home.

However you can't be careless, anything can happen outside the walls, so

be careful."

"I understand Milly."

"I will protect Cain."

Nina said that she will protect me. Unlike Milly, she didn't talk about

anything superfluous but she sure is kind.

"Thank you, Nina!"

I responded while smiling.

We went through the gate as we talked. There was a gatekeeper but we went

pass him

without any

trouble as soon as Milly told him my identity.

As expected, you won't be able to stop the lord's son.

Even if it was only the

gate of the

territory it was

quite

big.

The outer wall had a

height of about 5 meters.

I finally got out.

As I pass

through

the

gate, the first thing I see is a straight road with a wide grassy field spread in

front of me.

My first adventure five years after being born and two years after

remembering my past

life.

I'm very excited.
