The Sisters' Thoughts

As they reviewed the last few years of their lives, particularly the parts that involved Nox, the Hiryute sisters truly realized how he had come a long way since he had joined the Loki Familia.

When he had joined, he was just a cute kid with great potential as said by Loki herself and the details of his full abilities were kept tightly under wraps.

The amazon sisters took a liking to him from the start and barring the somewhat confrontational and even a bit hostile relationship with Bete which ended up slowly improving over time, the rest of the Familia took a liking to him as well, even if the favouritism shown to him from the start rubbed some members off the wrong way.

Three years later, a span of time the run of the mill adventurer would use to get to Level 2 if he was talented enough to ever make that level up.

It was truly shocking when they considered that Nox used that very same time period to reach Level 6, matching the highest leveled adventurers in their entire Familia.

Not only that, the sister realized that he was probably much stronger due to his host of special abilities he could use to fight above his Level, abilities which he had come to show less and less as time went by due to his penchant for secrecy.

Nox showed enough to let others know he was powerful and not to be messed with but never enough to let even those paying close attention to him get a read of his full power.

When they along with the other first class adventurers of the Loki Familia and Lefiya met the vile Demi Spirit who kept getting stronger and stronger as the fight went on, resulting in their near annihilation, it was Nox who, by his lonesome, destroyed the enemy, even if at great personal cost.

It was with their remembering of this particular even that it finally sunk in that their cute Nox had certainly become the most powerful adventurer in their entire Familia in just three years, something which left the sisters looking at each at each other a bit lost.

The realization forced the two amazons to look at him in a new way, to see him in a different light than before.

Amazons respected power as a society and Tione had even fallen for Finn after he had easily defeated her in combat.

Tiona saw Nox as a cute, now handsome guy she crushed on but truly realizing and coming to terms over the fact that he could easily overpower her if he so wished left her feeling much hotter as her view of him elevated him from crush to love.

Suddenly, she became more nervous about their outing the following day as her self consciousness increased but she wasn't the only one whose thoughts were rattled. Her sister Tione's thoughts, were wandering as well.

Forced to be more conscious of Nox after the realizations she had shared with her sister, Yione, found herself thinking about her many interactions with him over the three years they had known each other.

Nox's flirty personality was no secret and everyone that knew him was aware he had no problem and wasted no time in letting the women he found attractive know it. Despite this, many times, there was no romantic or sexual intent behind it but simple appreciation for beauty.

Meaning, Nox might praise any beauty he found attractive but his true romantic interest was not nearly as all encompassing.

Here laid the difference between the two Hiryute sisters when it came to their interactions with Nox. While he was quite forward with Tiona and like to flirt around with her, he took a more reserved approach with Tiona.

He still found her greatly attractive, something which he had directly told her before but while he appreciated her beauty, it was Tiona who held the bulk of his interest between the two sisters.

Nox knew Tione was head over heels for Finn so he didn't even bother and so his connection with Tiona ran significantly deeper with both having feelings for each other.

However, as time went on, Tione grew more and more frustrated with her lack of progress with Finn who she knew, despite her refusal to accept it, had zero interest in her as a woman.

At least Tiona was making progress and Tione knew that Nox would not say no if her sister pushed forwards which left her feeling quite jealous.

Not only was her sister surpassing her in terms of chasing their love, her partner, now that Tione thought about it rationally, was far more desirable than hers.

His general aesthetic fit much closer to what an amazon preferred in a man and his power had surpassed Tione's beloved captain as well.

Thoughts like these made Tione wonder why she kept being hung onto Finn, being conveniently used due to her devotion while not getting anything truly meaningful in return.

Still, years of feelings would not go away just like that and she was still very much enamored with her captain even though she was beginning to find Nox more desirable.

While the sisters tackled and thought of him, Nox was entangled with Loki on her bed, showing his goddess how much he loved her.

They were going at it far more passionately than usual with Loki being extremely fierce and enthusiastic.

As for why that was . . . It all began with the conversation she had shared with Nox when he came to her after meeting the Hiryute sisters and Lefiya . . .
