Chapter 18: The Fight

After I helped Pandora with her training I went back to the school to find Athena. After using 'Search' I found her. 'Search' is a skill that allows the user to find anyone or anything by using the mana they emit. I then found Athena training in the school's training grounds.

"Need help?"

"Oh, you're here."

"Your sword stance is good, are you a Swordsman?"

"Swordswoman but yeah."

"So you specialise in swordsmanship skills."

"What's your decuria?"

"Mage, Assassin and Swordsman."

"That many, isn't that a 1 in a trillion chance?"

"Yeah, but considering the population today it shouldn't be that rare."

"That's true."

"What do you need help in?"

"I want to spar you first."

"Okay then." I said as I materialised a wooden katana in my right hand.

"Are you sure about that? I mean I have an actual weapon."

I looked at the sword she held in her hand.

"Should be fine."

"Okay then." She said as she lunged towards me almost piercing my eye.

I dodged the attack and sliced her sword with my wooden katana. Both pieces of her sword then dropped on the floor.

"Restore." I said as her sword then fixed itself.

"How did you do that?"

"Do what?"

"You know. You sliced my sword with your wooden katana."

"It's pretty easy you know."

"How? Teach me."

"I can't teach someone with no talent."

"Why are you so cold with me?"

"I'm not. I'm the same with most people."

"Then you should stop that then."

"Why?"

"Because you won't get far with that type of attitude."

"You won't get far with your lack of strength and parents."

"DON'T TALK ABOUT MY PARENTS!"

"How are you gonna stop me?"

Athena then stayed silent but I could tell she was angry.

"With that anger you could do many things."

"Are you saying that you said those things to make me angry then teach me a life lesson?"

"No. I said those things because you're pissing me off. Do that again and you'll be with your parents."

Athena then stayed quiet for the rest of the training. After the training I went back to the house.

"Laertes where did you go?"

"Helped a person train."

"Athena."

"Yeah."

"How was it?"

"Cynthia, Arthur's talking about Athena."

"WHAT!"

Cynthia then rushed towards us from the other living room.

"Arthur, what's this about Athena?"

"Now that you're here, I realised Pandora was not her usual self while I trained her."

"Well you did train her like crazy for a few hours."

"A small price for victory."

"You mean-"

"Don't say that it could cost us Arthur."

"What?"

"Anyways the problem about Pandora was that she did something."

"She's pregnant?"

"WHAT! NO!"

"Then?"

"Well she tried something and hoped that you'd notice."

"Oh her nails."

"Wait you knew."

"You can see?"

"Arthur I'm not blind and Cynthia yeah I noticed."

"But you're problem with-"

"Not now Arthur."

"You know she was pretty depressed when she find out that you didn't realise."

"You know I was pretty surprised as well. I didn't know she did something different with her nails but it did look a different colour."

"The awakening ritual." Lilith said as she walked in the living room.

"You're saying everything became perfect when I did it?"

"Basically yeah and you basically transcend the concept of dimensionality for an example you're no longer a 40D being but you transcend the concept of it."

"I see. Arthur test me."

"I'm not testing you."

"Why?"

"Just look at some videos online."

"Forget it then."

"Anyways, what was this about Athena?"

"Nothing, I just said that so I could find out what made Pandora-" I saw Pandora walk into the living room.

"What?"

We all looked at Pandora.

"Laertes was just telling us about his training session with Athena."

Arthur slapped his face with disappointment.

"What? What happened between you and Athen?" Pandora said as she walked towards me.

I felt her murderous intent as she walked towards.

"Nothing happened. Just that she tried to kiss me."

"THAT B***H DID WHAT!?"

"Yeah but I backed away quick enough so she didn't get a chance."

We all felt Pandora's killing intent increase. Glass plates broke on the floor and the house starting shaking. Pandora was now using her awakened form. Her eyes became red instead of blue. She then disappeared then reappeared with Athena in her hand. Pandora held her neck with one hand then threw her into her house. The house shattered like it was glass but it can withstand Chaos tier spells. Pandora's rank was probably Low Complex Omni now. Athena who's only a High Dimensional rank didn't even stand a chance against her.

"Thanks Laertes, haven't seen these types of fights in so long." Arthur said with popcorn in his hand.

"No problem." I said also with popcorn in my hand.

Soon we all had popcorn and watched Pandora completely destroy Athena. Athen had died several times but her soul was forced back into her body by Pandora. We all sat on the bench in the platform I created because our house was being destroyed with Athena's body right before our eyes.

"Will the house be okay?"

"Don't worry Apophis, with one Archon tier restoration it'll be fixed in a second."

"Are you sure Laertes?"

"Yeah. Just watch the fight."

We all watched as Pandora summoned multiple beams of light and pierced Athena's hearts with it. Pandora used what I taught her. The beams penetrated her hearts. All demons have eight hearts no matter if you're a hybrid as long as you're part demon you will have eight hearts, but all these hearts of Athen was being destroyed by a half elf. The fight stopped as Pandora finally woke up. Pandora looked at Athena's bloody body float in space just infron of her. Pandora realised her mistake and healed Athena.

"Restore."

The house then was fully restored as of nothing happened. Athena woke up a few hours later but in that time Pandora didn't talk as she was too embarrassed to talk. Arthur, Kyron and Themis kept congratultong her.

"Here you can have this."

I gave Pandora the piece of chocolate I saved in my spatial storage.

"What the hell! I was your best friend for god knows how many years and all I received was one bar, only one bar of chocolate."

"Arthur you didn't just beat the living shit out another girl and you didn't make such an entertaining fight."

"Sure I did."

"Arthur a fight between a baby and a full grown dragonis not a fun fight if you know who's gonna win."

"That was literally the fight right now."

"We knew who was going to win but it was so entertaining."

Everyone agreed but Pandora kept quiet.

"She's awake."

"I'm going to apologize to her."

"I think Laertes should as well."

"No it's okay, she tried to seduce him but I went too far."

"Are you joking?"

"What do you mean Cynthia?"

"Laertes, did she actually try to kiss you?"

"No."

"So you mean?"

"Yeah. You killed the same girl multiple times and now she probably has a concussion for no reason."

"We shouldn't tell her though Cynthia."

"True."

"Laertes go with Pandora then, it's your fault Athena ended up like that."

"But in my defense don't you think that Athena deserved that?"

Everyone then tried denying it but deep down we all knew that she did deserve it because of what she did to Arthur.

"How about we don't then?"

"Don't what?"

We the looked at Athena standing at the door.

"Oh you're up." Cynthia said awkwardly.

"Should we wait for your parents-" Pandora said, she then realised what she did.

"Pandora too far."

"I'M SO SORRY!"

"She's a legend for saying that." Arthur wispered.

"I'm gonna teach her how to win your heart Laertes."

"I'm gonna allow you to do whatever you want."

"What are you guys wispering about?"

"N-N-N-Nothing!" Cynthia said.

"Okay then. I'll forgive you Pandora, but what the heck am I doing here?"

"Wait, you don't remember?"

"You're joking after all that."

"Remember what?"

"This." Cynthia said as she punched Athena which made her fly through the walls.

"Arthur your girlfriend is a legend."

"Yours too."

Athen then flew back to Cynthia breaking the walls as she came back to punch Cynthia back.

"Don't make a mess when I just cleaned up." Cynthia said with a killing intent.

Cynthia's eyes showed Athena her anger. Athena then tried to punch Cynthia but her hand was stopped by Arthur.

"Go back to where you came from." Arthur said as he threw her into the cosmos.

"Restore. I'm serious now, anyone who breaks the house this week I'm going to f*cking kill you."

Cynthia and Pandora then bowed constantly and apologised. I then took both Pandora's hands and held them.

"You was a legend out there."

Pandora then blushed so hard that she ran to her room.

"Who wants food then?"

"I'll order then."

"I'll pay then."

"No Laertes you have enough money so it's gonna seem as if you don't care."

"Fine Kyron will pay."

"WHY ME?"

"Cynthia can you bring Pandora back."

"I think you should, she deserves it.."

"Fine then."

I walked up the stairs on knocked on Pandora's door. Pandora then opened the door.

"Cynthia leave-"

"Pandora we're having pizza."

WHAT THE HELL IS LEVANTES DOING HERE?! [Pandora's thoughts]

"Just come down in five minutes." I said as I went back downstairs.

I then heard Pandora's phone ring. I did think much of it but what came after was beyond what I expected.

"Arthur wanna spar later?" I said as I took my next box.

"Sure, but in a few hours, my metabolism's gonna have to catch up."

A few hours later

I then went to sparring arena with Arthur following behind. The sparring arena is a place we made that can withstand High Complex Archon tier spells, it was made with the help from Tartarus.

"3...2...1...GO!" Cynthia said as the others sat down at the audience place.

Arthur then lunged towards me with Excalibur in his hand. He then tried piercing my stomach but I defended my stomach with my katana. We then clashed our swords and tried to attack one another. I then ran around him.

"Teleportation?"

"Who said I'm teleporting?"

"How the hell are you so fast?!"

"What do you mean?"

I then flew in the air and did the same. I flew in different directions like a dragonfly without losing my momentum. I flew around Arthur like a fly. I then found Arthur distracted by my afterimages so I pierced Arthur's back. Arthur coughed out blood as he went down on the floor in a crawling position. He dropped Excalibur as he coughed out more blood.

"Two can play at that game."

Arthur and Excalibur then disappeared. I then saw Arthur's afterimages which I then attacked. Our swords clashed in the air but we were too fast for the others to see.

"I'm a Celestial rank but I still can't see them."

"Well you're only a Celestial rank." Arthur said as he sat down behind them.

I snapped my fingers as multiple magic circles appeared.

"Arthur you're slacking."

I then conjured multiple Chaos tier spells which were dodged by Arthur.

"Don't think that's the only thing attaching you."

I punched Arthur in the stomach. Arthur then fell to the ground as I threw my katana like a draft which then pierced Arthur's stomach. Arthur then lay on the floor with my katana in his stomach.

"ARTHUR!!" Cynthia screamed at the top of your lungs.

"Calling for your boyfriend."

I was centimetres away from Cynthia's face.

"LEVANTES DON'T!!"

"Don't worry I'm not gonna do anything. Well not to her."

I then increased the gravity's force in the space where Arthur lay.

"F*CK!" Arthur screamed with blood spurting out of mouth.

"LEVANTES STOP PLEASE!"

"Then you take the pain."

Everyone looked at me with shock except Lilith as of she knew this will happen. Cynthia then came towards me with a scythe in her hand.

"Apostle grade, not bad." I said as it crushed when it felt my mana.

Cynthia was then smashed into the ground by my gravity magic.

"Bleed."

Cynthia then started bleeding from her ears and mouth. I then summoned a few hundred swords that replicated Excalibur. I pointed to Cynthia. The replicated Excaliburs then flew to Cynthia like darts. The Excaliburs was then sliced in half by the true Excalibur. I thenooked towards Arthur's direction. Arthur's appearance changed. White feathered wings formed on his back and a halo was also formed behind him. Arthur's eyes were a bright orange now.

"So you finally reverted to your Awakened Form."

"Don't f*cking touch her Levantes."

"Don't tell me what to do."

I was now centimetres away from Arthur's face. I then punched him but he dodged them threw a punch at me which I held. I held his fist until I heard the sound of bones breaking. Arthur's hand then disappeared like sand. His hand then reappeared on Arthur's arm.

"Bone manipulation."

Arthur then lunged towards me and tried strangling me by I teleported behind him then I placed two finger on Arthur's back then pushed. I heard his spine crack front he impact as Arthur fell to the ground. Upon seeing this Cynthia also changed to her Awakened form. Unlike Arthur who became a Low Complex Archon rank Cynthia became a High Complex Dimensional rank. Cynthia threw a punch at me which I easily held, I then threw her making her smash into the ground several times like a rock that just got slipped on the water. Arthur then threw a punch at me. I then dodged the punch and landed a ball. The ball was made from dense destruction magic which then vapourised Arthur's body like an acid. Cynthia and Arthur then conjured multiple spells which I dodged then conjured spells of my own which Cynthia and Arthur found hard to dodge. Arthur's right side of his stomach was almost gone at this point.

"Levantes stop the spell. Please."

"You really think I'm gonna listen to someone who has the intention of killing me. If you do want him saved then try take this."

I then went in my Awakened form and threw a punch at Cynthia. I stopped the punch centimetres away from Cynthia's face. The impact of the punch destroyed many Otheoses behind Cynthia.

"Heal."

Everyone was then healed as if nothing happened.

"Training was good."

"What the hell! All that for training."

"Laertes you really are an absolute b*****d."

"Arthur, do you want to be punched?"

"Revert back to your normal form."

My white hair and red eyes then went back to my original black hair and purple eyes.

"Now you guys have a chance in the tournament."

"Good to know."

"Okay then I'm going to sleep."

"What's the time?"

"22:55 Cynthia."

"I see. Oh, I have an idea Arthur."

"Oh lord, get a room you two!" Lilith said as she walked on the stone floor of the battle area of the arena with Pandora walking behind her.

Pandora looked scared, well I won't blame her after seeing that.

"Don't worry Pandora, my brother's way more nicer if you know him well."

"I'm not scared."

"You looked like it."

"Few days left."

"Let's cherish them then."

In no time a few days became tomorrow.
