Lava

"Why here of all places?... And why now?!" Jin Chul shouted in anger.

"But the Dungeon is almost cleared, how did it turn into a red Gate?" one of the members asked

All the members stood watching in both shock and pity for the man who had just gone in.

Jin Chul didn't even know how to feel at the moment, he was the one in charge of the hunter and he had allowed him into a Red Gate alone.

Red Gates didn't care if you had a Combat suit that improved your strength.

You could stay months in there, Steve had gone in wuthout any supplies, what would he do about food?, shelter and clothes, he didn't have to worry about because the person was a craftsman.

However it made things much worse, Red Gates were also home to multiple monster types at the same time. At times, one would encounter four monster types in one red gate.

Red Gates didn't follow the conventional gates, some of them could have just one boss while some would have as many bosses based on the number of Monster types one meets within it.

"Measure the Gate!!" Jin Chul ordered as they immediately got to work.

One of the hunters immediately brought out a device somewhat similar to a Geiger meter and activated it.

As soon as he did so and pointed it towards the gate, the meter immediately began to click as the ticks got louder and louder.

"S-rank" the man said with a tone of defeat.

He just got the job and heard that there would be an increase in salary if they watched over this hunter but now, he had let the hunter walk into an S-rank Red Gate.

[Hey testing, testing, are you there, Mr Jin Chul?] a familiar voice suddenly called out through the ear piece.

"Mr Grant?" Jin Chul called out as he immediately stuffed the earpiece deeper into his ear.

[Oh, thank God, it works… Anyway what's wrong, the entrance just disappeared] Steve asked in a lighthearted manner

"Sir, I don't know how to say this, you are within a red gate, you can't come out neither can we come in to help you until you defeat the boss or bosses" Jin Chul explained

[A Red Gate?... Well doesn't matter, they are just C-rank monster after all, i'll just need to utilize the full power of the suit] Steve replied just as lighthearted

"Sir, it's S-ranked, please whatever you do, access your opponent before you attack"

[Okay… I should have expected that, so I need to get shelter, food and clothes within this time right?]

"Yes sir"

[okay then, i'll call again] Steve said before cutting the connection.

As soon as the connection was cut, Jin Chul immediately heaved a sigh of relief. It wouldn't make sense to begin worrying so soon if the Gate wasn't a Red One.

The time flow was different which meant that a day could have passed within the gate even if it has barely been a minute.

Meanwhile within the Gate, Steve could be seen standing in what looked like a valley with frustration carved on his face.

There was nothing here.

Only Lava as far as the eye could see, there were two mountains before him and both along with the valley between it was completely covered by lava.
