26 Gate

Two weeks after,

Steve could be seen back in his workshop but this time, one could see several mannequins lined up, each one with a different colored combat suit on it.

However each one was labeled, from Generation one to five.

"Okay the life detector is working perfectly, Mana consumption has been resolved, I think everything has been resolved perfectly" Steve muttered to himself

He had been working on the suit for the past few weeks, refining it to get it ready for the demonstration.

The major focus of this refinement was simply to make it suited for lower level hunters who didn't have his absurd amount of mana.

From 2000 points worth of mana per minute, he had managed to reduce it to about 200 points per minute. However, in exchange the power was reduced but even so, it can allow  a capable E-rank to combat against a B-rank monster with little to no help.

"Would a helmet be needed?, protection III already offers that… Oh, a camera and a hunter network would work too" Steve shouted as several more ideas came to him.

He knew enough about gates to know that the only thing that worked there was simply Morals. There were no laws or rules set in place that could effectively prevent hunters from committing any crime they wanted in there.

A camera may not do much but if its footage is automatically sent back to the Association each time, the life signs of the suits user dies out then they could at least be able to curb the amount of crimes committed.

"360 degrees should do well" Steve noted to himself as he wrote them down.

The final version of the suit was yet to be born since the point of the suit was to allow the hunters survive, he needed to add in plenty of features for that to be.

"Or should I enter a gate?" he asked himself.

The fact that he had yet to enter a gate meant that he may not exactly know what he should be expecting.

"A C-rank gate would do" Steve stated as he suddenly dropped the book.

Without hesitation, he immediately picked up the phone as he called the Association.

Two hours later, he was sitting within a car along with the inspector Jin Chul. The man could be seen dressed in suit as usual but unlike before, a pair of modern combat gloves could be seen on his hands.

"Are you sure, you want a C-rank gate?" Jin Chul asked

"As my first gate? Definitely not but for my creation, I need to put myself in through this and C-rank gates happens to be dangerous but not so dangerous, they were just perfect" Steve replied

He needed to experience what the hunters experienced in order to create the perfect combat suits. As they said, only the one who was wearing the shoe, knew where it hurt.

He may create the suit and all based on what he thought was necessary then finds out that they were all superficial help.

"It seems you are really confident in this gate" Jin Chul asked
