Kanalaa and Alistair strolled hand in hand along the sandy shore, the warm sun casting a golden glow over the beach. Kanalaa's long, chocolate brown, flowing hair danced in the gentle breeze, while Alistair's laughter echoed against the crashing waves.

Kanalaa glanced at Alistair, a sparkle in her eyes matching the shimmering sea. "Isn't this just perfect, Alistair? I could stay here forever. I love its tranquility," she uttered as soft as a butter.

Whilst Alistair is pleasant in the eyes, Kanalaa can't help but avert her gaze back into the beach. Feeling the soft and powdery white sand on her feet, horizon ahead of them, and a place where they see no one but themselves, indeed a dream destination.

Alistair grinned, his arm wrapping around Kanala's waist. "Absolutely, my love. The sound of the waves, the feel of the sand beneath our feet... it's like paradise."

They found a secluded spot under the shade of a palm tree, spreading out a blanket. Alistair reached into their picnic basket, pulling out a bottle of chilled champagne and two glasses.

"Here's to us, Kanala," Alistair said, pouring the sparkling liquid into the glasses. "To love, laughter, and unforgettable moments."

Kanalaa clinked her glass against his, a soft giggle escaping her lips. "To us," she replied, taking a sip and savoring the taste.

As they enjoyed their picnic, they shared stories and dreams, lost in each other's company. The afternoon sun dipped lower in the sky, casting a warm orange hue over the horizon.

This is the trip that they've planned. Alistair took his time to find this perfect place for Kanalaa. Although his girlfriend won't talk about it, Alistair knows something is going on in her head. To him, this is the least he could do to show support. He does not have the plan to get ahead of Kanalaa over this matter.

"Let's take a walk along the water," Kanalaa suggested, her eyes twinkling with excitement.

Alistair nodded, taking her hand as they strolled along the water's edge, the waves gently lapping at their feet. Seagulls soared overhead, adding to the serenity of the moment.

"Kanalaa, being here with you... it feels like everything is right in the world," Alistair said, lost in the moment with his gaze filled with adoration.

Kanalaa smiled, her heart overflowing with love. "I feel the same way, Alistair. This beach trip is truly magical, but being with you makes it even more special."

"We should always visit here to take breaks, she added, with her glazy lips turned up.

Hand in hand, they continued their walk along the beach, the sun setting behind them, painting the sky in shades of pink and purple. In that moment, all that mattered was the love they shared and the memories they were creating together.

After their beach excursion, Kanala and Alistair returned to their cozy beachfront villa, where the aroma of a delicious dinner spread through the air. The sun had dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the tranquil sea.

Kanala and Alistair settled into their seats at the dining table, the soft candlelight casting a romantic ambiance. The table was adorned with vibrant flowers and elegant dinnerware, adding to the charm of the evening.

Kanala took a moment to admire the spread before them: succulent grilled seafood, accompanied by a medley of buttered vegetables and fragrant jasmine rice. Alistair had outdone himself, preparing a feast fit for royalty.

"This looks incredible, Alistair," Kanala exclaimed, her mouth watering at the sight of the food.

Alistair smiled warmly, pouring them each a glass of crisp white wine. "I'm glad you like it, Kanala. I wanted your day to be special."

As they savored each bite, they engaged in lively conversation, reminiscing about their favorite moments from the day and sharing their dreams for the future. The sound of their laughter mingled with the gentle lapping of the waves outside, creating a symphony of joy and contentment.

As they reached the end of their meal, Alistair rose from his seat, a mischievous twinkle in his eye. "I have one more surprise for you, Kanala."

Curiosity piqued, Kanala watched as Alistair disappeared into the kitchen, returning moments later with a decadent cheesecake adorned with fresh berries.

Kanala's eyes widened in delight as Alistair placed the cake before her, a single candle flickering atop its rich surface.

"Happy birthday, love," Alistair whispered, his voice filled with emotion.

Tears welled up in Kanala's eyes as she leaned in to blow out the candle, her heart overflowing with love for the man sitting across from her.

"Thank you so, so much, my love," she replied.

In the moment of ecstasy, Kanalaa rose from her seat and went to Alistair to close their distance and sealed his lips. The latter didn't hesitate to return it.

Kanalaa planning to end their kisses pulled away. However, even before she could, Alistair pulled her back before rising from his seat. Liplocking, tongue thrusting, Kanalaa feel breathless but she can't pulled away. The hit of their body is sucking her, not letting her go. To the couple, it is a night they shared together.

...

With white sheets wrapping Kanalaa's body, she woke up in her side with an arm embracing her and one serving as her pillow. She closed her eyes because the strong sunlight hurt her eyes. She grunted and turned away from the light. She wrapped her hand around him and his hug tighten. Her face dipped on his neck, feeling his warmth, she wanted to stay like this for the rest of day. She closed her eyes and felt it until sleep consumed her once again.

Alistair feeling that the woman in his arms is now relaxed and her breathing is even, he opened his eyes just to see how peaceful she's sleeping in her eyes. With a plan on his mind to join her back, he closed his eyes again. However, not even a minute after, Kanalaa's phone rang. He reached it out quickly so he won't disturb her.

"Good morning, madam. I apologize as soon as now for what I'm going to tell you. You need to come back now and take over your company. It's looking ugly," a nervous voice said rapidly.

When no one answered, she talked again, "Madam?"

"I'll tell her," Alistair responded in a low tone then hung up the call not wanting to prolong it and not to disturb Kanalaa's sleep.

Alistair is aware of Kanalaa's company. Given the fact that her family owns large companies, it is nothing shocking. He have told her to run it but Kanalaa refused to run it in full time again. As per her, she needed a lot of experience in practicing law that's why she's choosing it over her business. Yet, Kanalaa and Alistair have talked about her leaving his firm once his secretary comes back and she felt like her experience can walk her through.

After the vacation she had, an unexpected incident happened only few weeks after coming back to work. Aside from experience, Kanalaa wanted to support Alistair for a little since he refuses to replace his secretary as she's been working for him for a long time.

Instead of getting back to bed, Alistair called in for a room service for their breakfast and to clean up their dinner. Apprently, their dinner remained on the table because a couple activity happened last night right when they finished their food.

After everything laid out, Alistair went back to their room to try to see if Kanalaa's awake now. When he got to their bed he saw her brows furrowed and her expression seems angry, she might be dreaming. Therefore, Alistair lightly called her, "Kanalaa," but she didn't wake up.

Then, he tapped her gently while calling her, " love." Because of that Kanalaa slightly moved and she slowly opened her eyes.

"Good morning," she uttered raspily.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty," he greeted, caressing her face gently.

"I felt so sleepy."

She pulled the sheet onto her body and sat on the bed, leaning to Alistair. He held her in his stroking her hair.

"You seems so tired," he uttered in concern.

"Of course I'm tired after all that!" She retaliated.

Alistair bewitched with his girlfriend's charms chuckled before suggesting, "How about let's just rest here in villa for the rest of the day?"

"That sounds nice,"

"Come on, the breakfast is ready."

He let go of Kanalaa and let her fix herself first. She then just wrapped and secured the blanket on her body so it wont fall.

"Morning kiss?"

"Ask that on your wife!" She hissed before aggressively moving out of the bed.

Alistair frowned, "Wife?"

"I had a dream that you have a wife and you're keeping her and I'm your mistress!" She exclaimed, remembering what she felt in the dream. She felt betrayed and the anger was too much to bear she couldn't breathe even in real life.

"Do I look a married man to you?" He asked back.
