7 CHAPTER SIX

"Of all places Violet, your legs choose the forest". Violet who had been running for a really long while now shook her head crying "can you be anymore stupid". She asked herself as she wiped her tears which still kept falling

"Why are you crying now, it's all your fault. First you fell in love with the wrong person, then you ran into the forest when he rejected you. Can your day get any worst". She kept talking and sobbing. She spoke too soon because just as she said the last sentence a stick twig ripped through her sneakers and her feet making her wail in pain as the tears came pouring down more. "I hate you Daniel". She choked as she stopped to remove the stick which wasn't big, angry at the size, she cursed at it "damn you". She winced at the pain it brought as she took it out, then broke the stick twig into two and threw it away.

She began walking though now limping with her blood trailing behind her. "Daddy, mummy, please help me". She whispered. Her tears were now dried up though her voice is hoarse from crying.

She tried to see the sky but the trees are so tall and tightly close together but from her watch she could tell it was almost late afternoon. She'd give anything to be at home right now, with her dad teasing her and her mother once again tending to her garden. Noting a big tree flat enough for a comfortable rest, she limped towards it to rest. Settling down by the tree bark, she ripped out a sleeve and ripped it more. Then she removed her sneaker to tighten the sleeve round her wound to prevent more blood from seeping out, then wore back her sneaker and her head on the bark. "Just for a moment". She whispered as she fell asleep

Meanwhile Dora who followed her has also gotten lost in the forest "This forest looks so haunted, its creeping me out". She wheezed bending over her knees her palms on her thighs as she sucked in breath. She had ran into the forest with Adrenaline pumping into her veins and her mission to find Violet on her mind. But now she realises how stupid she was to have just ran after her without a plan. Now here she is lost in the forest with a body that finds it hard to cooperate. "Once I'm out of this forest, I'm doubling my training. This stupid fats are going down". She sighed and stood straight once she got back her breath

"Violet!...Violet!...Violet!... Where are you". She screamed on the top of her voice as she had been doing since she ran into the forest. Its a wonder she hasn't lost her voice yet, though its beginning to crack and her throat is getting dry. But it doesn't stop her from still calling her out -while she's half running half walking- though not which so much vigour

"Ouch!". Dora exclaimed just as she stumbled upon a stone and fell down. "Mummy!". She cried out in pain as she brought her palms up to inspect it "I'm going to kill Daniel, this is all his fault". She growled noticing she has badly scrapped her palms and knees. Annoyed at Violet and angry at Daniel, she roughly sat on the forest floor and groaned at the twigs that kept poking her. "God! Can't I even have a moment of comfort". She groaned at tired.

"What's that?". Dora whispered, her forehead creased in confusion. "Oh my God, its blood". She breathed out as she got closer to inspect it. Right close to her is blood trailing farther in front of her "Violet". Her eyes went wide in realisation. "Oh God, Violet". She quickly scrambled up and followed the blood trail which lead her to a tree with a flat bark. "Yes, she's not far from here". Dora grinned when she noticed a tiny ripped piece of Violet's clothing on the floor close to the tree

"But where can she be". Dora sighed and on cue she heard a cry of help from Violet. "Violet!". She shouted into the forest and was relieved when she heard Violet shout back her name. Glad that she's alive, Dora took to her feet and ran towards her voice while still calling her name

Violet has never been relieved to hear Dora's voice in her life. She had opened her eyes from her slight slumber and had scanned her surrounding when she noticed a strange animal hidden behind the forest trees staring right back at her with a strange golded glint in it feral eyes. And its watched her like a hawk not blinking. She didn't realize when she screamed and ran away for her life. After a while she had turned back only to realize, the animal never ran after her and she is more lost into the forest. She doesn't know if she should be happy or sad about her predicament. "Just who did I offend". She asked to no one in particular as tears threatened to fall. Raising her wrist to check the time she realized her wrist watch had fallen off "oh just great". She muttered. "Oh, my phone". Her eyes went wide as she realised she had her phone with her. She permitted herself to smile at that realisation but soon dropped it when she saw it had no network bar "of course, I'm lost deep inside a forest alone. The perfect story of a damsel in distress, well my knight in the shining armor, I guess this is where you come in". She said sarcasm dripping from every word. Shoving her phone back into her jean's back pocket, she sighed. "Its just you and I now Violet, let's do this". She said determined. "Help, somebody help". She screamed at the top of her lungs when she heard Dora's voice ring out through the forest. "Dora?". She shouted back into the forest eyes wide and hope in her heart and was so relieved when she heard Dora's voice call her back "Violet its me!". She couldn't help but smile in relief. Making her way while still limping, towards Dora's voice as they both shouted eachothers name, they found eachother.

"Dora!".

"Violet". They both screamed as they hugged eachother.

"Oh my God Dora, you followed me in here". She exclaimed in realisation as they broke the hug. "Ofcourse not. I left you alone when I saw you run inside the forest because I couldn't risk my life. And suddenly a wild wind blew me into the forest and here I am". Dora answered back in sarcasm "ofcourse I ran after you moron, just what were you thinking as you ran inside the forest. Of all the places your legs could take you". She exclaimed annoyed. Violet couldn't help but smile at her outburst "I never thought I'll ever miss your sarcasm and outburst". She sheepishly grinned while Dora rolled her eyes at her but soon soften them

"I'm sorry about what Daniel said. He has no right to say all those things, just because he has no feelings for you doesn't mean you're not worthy of been loved. You'll definitely find your soulmate. My brother is an ass, he doesn't deserve you". Dora said as she held Violet's fingers in her grasp while staring right at her

"You don't have to apologize Dora. It's not your fault, you just wanted the best for everyone. And yes, your brother is an ass and he doesn't deserve me". Violet said lightening the mood as she blinked her tears away. "Thank you Dora. I couldn't have gotten a better friend". She smiled pulling her in for a hug

"Same here". Dora smiled as they hugged. "Now let's find a way out of here, this forest is creeping me out". Dora said as they broke the hug. "Oh my God, your limping Violet. What's happened? I saw your blood trail too, it lead me to the tree". Dora exclaimed when she noticed Violet is limping.

"I injured myself, don't worry, it isn't that serious, oh no scrap that, it is serious. But I can manage till we get out of here. I'm strong". Violet wiggled her brows grinning

"Are you sure, I could give you a piggy back ride". Dora suggested still worried

"Tempting offer but I'll pass, I can't have you worn-out. I don't think I'll be able to drag you out of here". Violet teased earning her a light smack on her upper arm which made her chuckle

"Then at least rest your hand on my shoulders and put some weight on me so you won't put too much stress on your injured foot". Dora said as she placed one of Violet's hand across her shoulder and wrapped her hand around Violet's waist. Violet wanted to decline but kept shut when she received a glare from Dora

"Yes ma'am". She mocked surrendered as they walked trying to find a way out of the forest, well Dora walked while she limped.

"I guess my knight did come after all, just not in a shinning armor". Violet suddenly said as she grinned. Dora glanced at her confused but decided not to a say a thing. Just shook her head as they kept going

A/N

Am I the only one who's beginning to doubt the age of this two girls, someone tell them to go easy on curse words, they are just 15.

And where the hell is Daniel.... I'm pretty sure he begged me to let him run after them. I'm beginning to get angry at him... he'd better appear soon

Daniel: *rolls eyes* like it's my fault I didn't appear in the chapter

Me: *shrugs* well you could have forced your way in. You're Daniel after all. The intruder at every conversation

Daniel: *raise a brow* and who made me like that?

Me: *puffs chest* of course I did. It's all because I'm amazing *winks at my readers*
