Tossing Magnus aside as if he weighed nothing. His arm broke from the force of the toss. Snapped like a twig. The ease at which the dragon threw him didn't appear to have been enough to do that kind of damage. His physical strength was no joke.

Why would he ask me? I didn't understand. I didn't deserve his mercy. Why would he give it to me?

"You know how strong I am Magnus," The dragon frowned at him, "You won't win. No matter how much magic you throw at me." he picked up Magnus by his good arm with ease, "You're lucky I threw your men out of here unharmed. I could have killed them all easily. Throw an army at me. I'll throw them back. I want to meet with the highest authorities in one week. You'll be the one to tell them."

"Fuck you," Magnus spit on the dragon's face.

The spittle didn't even reach him. It floated in the air between them for a few seconds before falling to the ground without touching the dragon at all.

"Feel better?" he smiled at Magnus.

Magnus only looked more pissed. He lifted Magnus off the ground, and a portal opened up in the space beneath him.

"Mind the drop," The dragon let him fall.

Magnus shouted as he fell through the portal. I didn't understand what he was saying, but knowing Magus it was pure rage or hate. The dragon turned his attention back to the white haired man clad in darkness magic. The skill required to manipulate darkness as clothing was well beyond my skill level. The expression on the dragon's face suggested that his gaze was hostile.

The white haired man smiled at the dragon. Clearly very happy about something. Wind blades slashed through him. At least I think it was wind blades. I didn't see the attack.

Nor did I sense the mana gathering. He was just sliced up into half a dozen pieces. His blood reassembled his body in a scant two seconds. The dragon snorted at him angrily. The white haired old man just kept on smiling.

His aura was terrifying. Blood red with a tinge of white to it. Swirling together, but never mixing. Wyvern's had a less terrifying aura. I could tell he was severely weakened.

That was the part that scared me the most. What would happen when he got his strength back? The dragon's aura was more powerful, but it was gentler. The white haired man's aura was the aura of a killer. Of something that lived to kill.

The dragon blocked my line of sight. Forcing me to give him my undivided attention again.

I looked at the half elf in front of me. Choosing to ignore Mr. smiley for now since it seemed impossible to kill him at the moment. The emotional hues around him showed confusion, hatred, fear, and anger. No intent to attack though.

"You hate the elves don't you?" I looked down at him.

He was slightly shorter then me. The hue of anger intensified when I said elves.

"You answered my question earlier," I smiled at him, "You don't want to help them. You were born a slave. What if I can set you free?"

His emotional hues changed rapid fire as confusion became his dominant emotion. This new ability of mine was more then a little convenient. He didn't quite believe me. He'd been enslaved his whole life. He didn't know what it was like to be free.

He didn't know what it was like to fight back. He didn't know what freedom was. He'd been forced to do what he was told his entire life.

"I know you don't know what freedom is," I frowned at him, "You've got a week to decide, but I plan on going to the elves world. Taking all those humans back from them. I would like your help to do it."

He just stared at me as he tried to process what I was asking of him. He kept his eyes down so that he wasn't looking at my face. I held out the gem that pulsed like a heart.

"This is yours," I let him take it from me hesitantly.

Then I turned my attention to the white haired guy.

"What are you?" I snapped at him.

"I'm a vampire," he responded cheerfully, "My name is Letty Daywalker. I would like to serve you. I have only one request as payment."

"And that is?" I didn't like this guy.

He gave off danger vibes like no tomorrow. His emotional hues showed happiness, and an emotion I didn't know. It wasn't hostility. This emotion was an odd color. Like rot.

He didn't smell like decay so I didn't understand the color. What was that color for?

"We can discuss that on a later date," Letty responded while still smiling like an idiot, "If you don't mind I'm going to collapse for a while. I don't have any clothing so a blanket would be nice."

What little mana he had vanished as he literally collapsed? His eyes were closed before he even hit the ground. The darkness he been wearing like clothing started fading right away. I buried him in the ground. Just his body so his head was sticking out.

I didn't care to see his shriveled manhood. His shriveled face was already enough to make me want to gag. I started looking through my notifications.
