Outcome

When from the ground I saw how Caelum suddenly created a jet of pressurized water from his fist I felt envious of him, but I was also proud and relieved.

Shit and I'm still on the ground.

I got up from the ground with my body and took off my knives. I barely had any strength or feeling in my arms. Blood was running from my shoulders and head. I was in a wretched state. But seeing Caelum fall to the ground after that fist gave me the boost I needed.

When I reached him he was unconscious, but with a smile on his face. I smiled too, but it was short lived as Hiroki was getting up again. This time he looked quite hurt from the water blast Caelum had given him, what was that by the way, the awakening? It seems that's why he's happy.

—Do you have 7 lives or what? Stay down and let me kill that bastard.

—When I was little I watched assassins kill my brother and my teacher in front of me without me being able to do anything. Since then I've only looked out for myself, but Caelum gave me the faith to believe in someone again and want to defend someone, so I can't let you take him away without doing anything.

—Then I'll leave you conscious so you can witness me kill him.

As Hiroki approached me I noticed how the fight against Caelum had made him much slower, much more predictable. But I couldn't use my arms and on top of that I hadn't managed to land a single blow on him before, like I was supposed to hit him now.

I was dodging, moving from right to left, but always keeping myself between Hiroki and Caelum so he wouldn't have a chance. But I was getting exhausted, without a way to counterattack I won't be able to hold on much longer.

Suddenly I slipped, and of course Hiroki saw this as an opportunity. But to my surprise instead of me getting hit it was Hiroki who got kicked.

—Igor, right? Let me help you.

It was the black guy who had revealed himself against Hiroki at the beginning, Zareb.

—Where are Sara and Basma?

—Sara is taking care of Basma.

I didn't trust Sara very much, but she had come with Caelum helping him and it seemed that she had also betrayed Hiroki. But it bothered me all the same, someone who had betrayed once could betray again, although it was not the time to think about that.

Hiroki was quite wounded and now, thanks to Zareb, between the two of us we might have a chance to finally knock him out of the battle. While I dodged Hiroki's attacks and Hiroki defended himself from Zareb's blows, a battle of endurance ensued.

Our movements were getting clumsier and slower. Hiroki separated from us, I don't know if he was trying to rest, or just didn't know how to continue. Was he going to give up?

Suddenly I saw him pick up a knife. Zareb next to me started sweating.

—Shit.

Zareb ran towards him, but before he got there Hiroki made a move with the knife and Zareb suddenly fell to the ground bleeding.

—Cut calmly. A great skill.

—What did you just do?

—A skill, though it can be a double-edged sword, but I quite like it.

Hiroki then closed his eyes, when he opened them again they again had the characteristic blue halo of a skill being activated.

—This is another great ability, it serves to see a second in the future, the next attack I'm going to get or how my opponent is going to defend. But against your friend it didn't work, don't you know why?

—I don't know, and I don't care much either.

—It looks like I'll kill you without getting anything out of you.

—Kill me? It's been so long since anyone's put me on the ropes that you made me remember something I thought I'd forgotten. And with that you made me remember other important things. Why don't I get serious too?

I grabbed a knife with my left hand and put another one in my mouth. I couldn't grab a third one with my right hand because I had no strength with it.

I took a deep breath and calmed down. Remember, Igor, breathe in and out, become one with your surroundings. Don't make noise when you walk and keep your mind blank. You are a killer Igor.

After concentrating I felt all my senses expand, I felt everything around me. I looked up and noticed Hiroki and remembered another feeling I hadn't felt for a long time, the feeling of hunting prey.

I let myself be carried away by that feeling, I sank into that feeling. For the next few moments I felt as if my body was moving on its own. It was as if I was able to analyze everything I saw and move accordingly, all to achieve my goal.

I could see everything that was happening, but I didn't get excited, I just moved, without strong feelings, without wanting to, I just wanted to achieve a goal, and I was going to achieve it yes or yes, there was no need to get excited to achieve something that I already knew I was going to achieve.

Before I knew it I had stuck a knife in his hand, and with the one I had in my mouth I slashed his leg. I still didn't feel anything, and when I was about to achieve my goal someone grabbed me from behind.

—No! Igor, stop! Please!

Basma grabbed me from behind and I could clearly hear his sobs. Then I realized everything that had happened. Thinking again I turned around and hugged her.

—I'm sorry Basma. I am sorry.

—When we were on the island and you were teaching me you told me the truth about yourself. You told me you were a murderer, but there's one thing Cam said when all this started: 'You can have a past you're proud of or regret, it's what you do in the present that matters to change the future'. Please, Igor.

—Yes, forgive me. I'm sorry, Basma.

You are like an angel Basma, but I won't tell you because it would look like something I'm not.

At that moment I heard noise behind me and out of the corner of my eye I saw Hiroki lunging at me with a knife. In a moment, out of instinct, I pushed Basma away and took the blow.

I was bleeding pretty badly and was listening to Basma screaming my name when suddenly 8 white lights appeared across the room.

—Lidia, heal everyone. When you are done leave them in different rooms. The rest, what do we do now?

—I think we kill those who revealed themselves. We've already lived through history, we don't want it to repeat itself.

—I don't think we should kill them, I think that's wrong. I think we have to ask why and see how we can improve so that it doesn't happen again.

—That goodism can lead us to war among ourselves.

From the ground I couldn't tell who was saying what when one of those who had just arrived put me in a kind of floating bubble and took me outside. But before I left I saw how a black light surrounded Hiroki and when it was over Hiroki disappeared.

Everyone was surprised, what happened? Only the little girl who was leading those who had just arrived had an angry expression instead of surprise.

I wondered what would happen from now on but I couldn't see any more as I fell into a deep sleep.

Thanks for reading! Enjoy it and give it a power stone.
