Slaughter

'Is he a Devil Fruit user?' The Captain thought with trepidation as he felt the increasing heat emanating from the intruder.

Ray ignored the dumb officer's question, and instantly disappeared from his spot and showed up in front of the officer who questioned him. The officer just saw a blur and without giving a chance for the officer to retaliate, he grabbed the officer's throat and lifted him up till he reached at his eye level.

The officer gazed at Ray and was immediately terrified at killing intent and rage oozing out of Ray. He tried to talk his way out of it, but only unintelligible words uttered out.

"Krgghh!"

Without giving a chance for the officer to redeem himself, Ray increased the heat surrounding his hand to an incredible degree. The officer could feel the heat burning away at his throat, spreading to his whole body. Ray did not want to waste any time and quickly increased the temperature to burn the officer to ashes. The rest of the horrified Marines could only helplessly watch as their fellow Marine burned away to ashes.

"Solar Dome!"

To prevent anybody from escaping, even though they couldn't attempt to begin with, Ray created an impenetrable sphere around the Marines and him. The sphere emits an intense heat slowly causing damage to their nerves and a devastating pressure rooting the Marines on their spot.

Coating both of his arms with intense solar energy, Ray proceeds to swipe his arms through the air, creating a whip of solar energy sending it towards the three low ranked Marine officers, making a quick job out of them.

*Bang*

A gunshot was heard, and a peculiar looking bullet was fired at Ray. Although Ray was feeling rageful, he didn't lose his focus. Using his Observation Haki, he dodged the bullet by slightly shifting his body away from the direction of the bullet.

He sensed another attack coming from behind him, quickly turning his body around, he saw an incoming sword slashing at him and grabbed it with his hands infused with Armament Haki.

Applying a little pressure, he snapped the sword in half and punched the Lieutenant Commander in the gut with a powerful solar energy infused blow, penetrating through his stomach. The Lieutenant Commander dropped dead with a cauterized hole in his stomach.

"BASTARD! Do not think that you're invincible."

"GET HIM!!"

Trying to fight off the heat and the pressure, the Commander, the other Lieutenant Commander, and the Lieutenant charged at Ray with difficulty as a last-ditch effort. They were assigned to their respectful duties due to their abilities, so they closed the distance between them and the intruder.

Seeing as the intruder wasn't moving, they swiped their swords at his body. Ray saw them making a desperate attempt, but in his eyes, they were too slow. He let them come closer to finish them off in one blow. Gathering enough solar energy in his core and with the swords inches away, he sent a wave of solar energy from his body in all directions.

*Boom*

The three Marines did not even have a chance to think before the intense wave incinerated their bodies in a split second. The outgoing wave still went on and hit the terrified Marine Captain, but being the Captain, he knew some form of Haki. Using his rudimentary form of Haki, he managed to block off some damage from being inflicted on to his body.

"Oh?" Surprised at the Marine surviving his attack, he came into conclusion that he used Haki. But even if the Marine used Haki, he could still not do anything to him. Ray deactivated his Solar dome and walked towards the Marine.

"Ughh." Marine Captain Sose on the ground, groaned and took a moment to breathe. Opening his eyes, he saw the man walking towards him.

"P-Please spare me. I'll do anything!!" The Marine begged with a panic-stricken voice.

Ray ignored him and continued walking. Sose knew it wasn't going to work so he planned for him to get closer before shooting him in the face with a seastone bullet. Seeing that he came close enough, Sose quickly aimed his pistol at Ray and pulled the trigger.

*Bang*

Ray knew the Marine had planned something, as he saw a vile cunning glint in his eyes. Activating his Observation Haki, he saw the Marine pulling out a gun and shooting at him. Quickly dodging the bullets, he closed the gap and proceeded to stomp his head with solar energy, delivering a powerful blow.

"Just fucking drop dead!"

The Captain had no chance to begin with, his head exploded with pieces flaying about his twitching body, creating a gruesome scene. Ray vaporized whatever bloody remains were on him and walked out of the blood smeared area.

-After a while-

"Finally done?" asked Zeke.

"Yeah." Ray sighed with a confirmation.

"Listen, this world is fucked. There's a lot of shit going on and I know you like the back of my hand. Whatever you do, I'm always here to support you and beat some sense into you, if needed. Alright?"

Ray let go of his rage and smiled at his friend, "Thank you, Zeke, but…who knew you could be so cute? Hahahaha!"

"Fuck off, monkey!" Zeke smiled.

Ray glanced around and saw the girls they rescued sleeping on the ground tired from exhaustion, "What should we do about the girls?"

"I heard the Marine say that there were two Marine ships somewhere near the coast. So, while you were busy fucking them up, I took the liberty of locating the ships and I found them."

"Where are the ships?"

"They're docked at the north of the island. Let's go there and find out if we can find any good-natured Marines."

"So, you wanna drop the girls with them?"

"Yeah, we can't carry nor take them with us. It's best if they are taken into some safe town, leading ordinary lives."

"Aight' then, sounds like a plan. Let's hope there are good Marines otherwise I don't mind going on a second round."

Zeke scoffed at Ray and beckoned him to follow him, all the while carrying the women.

Off the coast, there were two standard Marine ships docked at bay. Ray and Zeke found their way towards the ship and saw some of the Marines on the ships lazing around waiting for their Captain and Commander to come back after their meeting.

"Let's jump onto the ships and see how they react." Zeke told Ray and they both jumped and landed onto the ships, jolting the rest of the Marines to stay alert of the two intruders.

"Halt! Who are you?" The second-in-command, Commander Koba, was waiting for his Captain to come back before he heard a commotion on the ship and came out of his cabin.

"Name's Ray and my friend here is Zeke." Ray pointed to himself and Zeke while announcing their names.

"We're nobodies." Zeke glared at Ray for revealing their names.

"Hahaha, it's fine, Zeke. It's about time the world learns of our existence."

"This fool." Zeke obviously irritated at him for prematurely revealing their existence but then he agreed with his latter statement.

'Ray and Zeke? Never heard of them before but it looks like they're pirates of sorts.' Commander Koba inwardly thought while they were conversing. He noticed the silver-haired man carrying three women on his shoulder with blatant confusion.

"You Silver-haired pirate, let those girls free and put them down. How dare you capture them?!" Commander Koba ordered Zeke, while at the same time signaling the rest of the Marines onboard to take their stance and aim at the two pirates, ready to fire.

Seeing the Marines taking their position, ready to fire at them, Ray just smirked. Zeke noticed and nodded, at least they were reasonable and didn't fire at them.

Zeke ignored the Commander's question and asked his own, "Where's your Captain, Commander?"

"Captain?" Commander Koba confused with his question, realized a second later and his face changed.

"What did you do with the Captain, pirates?!" Koba asked with force.

"How did you know we were pirates?"

"I don't know, a gut feeling. Now, what happened with the Captain?!"

"Nothing much, he got what he deserved." This time, Ray spoke with a trace of bite.

"Tsk! What do you mean?" Commander Koba asked but in his heart, he knew why. He knew the true nature of his Captain and some of the other Marine officials who were willingly supporting him.

"I blew their faces off and before you say anything, he tried to rape the poor girls who Zeke is carrying right now." Ray explained.

Commander Koba knew he was telling the truth, "Fuck! Everyone stand down. You, take the girls away and put them in a safe room."

A Marine came forward and took the girls away where Zeke put them down. Zeke sighed with content knowing at least there were some good Marines in the world.

*Bang*

Suddenly, a concealed bullet was shot from the other ship. The bullet went in the direction of Zeke. Commander Koba's eyes widened and saw the bullet hit the side of Zeke's head. He was further dumbfounded when he saw the bullet flatten upon impact, the sound of metal hitting the wooden floor echoing the flabbergasted silence permeating through the air.

*Sigh*

"Now, which fool did that?" Zeke asked casually. He turned his head and saw a Marine on the other ship holding a rifle, aimed at him, with traces of smoke leaking out of the rifle's barrel.

"Why did you shoot him, you fool?!" Commander Koba scolded the Marine officer.

"He killed the Captain, Commander. He needs to die!"

"Stop being a fool and stand down!"

The Marine officer ignored the Commander's order and proceeded to aim his rifle at the two pirates again.

"I've never seen a blatant dumbass in my life." Ray said with an amused expression.

"Commander, I think one ship should be enough for you to go back to your base." Zeke informed the Commander.

The Commander widened his eyes in realization and shouted at the Marines in the other ship to abandon ship, "Abandon Ship, you idiots! Quickly!"

By the time the Marines on the other ship heard the Commander's order, it was too late. Zeke, using Geppo, quickly jumped into the air putting forward both his hands with his palms facing the other ship outwards.

"Here we go." Ray pitied their incoming doom.

"Crystal…"

"...Rain!"

Zeke slowly muttered before tiny sharp crystals were conjured from his palms, shooting towards the other ship like it was raining crystals. The crystals were hard as diamond as they left a destructive force upon their impact. The constant bombardment of the crystals quickly tore away the ship and caused a few casualties.

Zeke made sure to put the main focus of his attack on the foolish Marine. The Marine was instantly skewered with holes and fell down to his death. The ship finally couldn't take it anymore before it was destroyed, slowly sinking into the depths of the sea.

"Damn, that was cool." Ray complimented Zeke as he landed back on the ship.

"Now I assume, there won't be any more troubles."

*Sigh*

"There won't be, but you should leave. I should be reporting this incident to my superiors, although it won't be a good outcome for you both."

"You really are a nice guy. Let's go, Zeke." Ray praised the Commander who just grunted in response. Zeke nodded and they both flew away with Ray carrying Zeke.

"Ugh, this is going to be troublesome. I have a feeling they're going to cause a ruckus." Commander Koba massaged his temple with frustration.

-A considerable distance away-

"Ray, stop here for a sec. We should be quite a distance away from the Marines." Zeke told Ray who nodded in response and they both landed on the other end of the island.

"What's up, Zeke? Why did we stop here?" Ray asked with confusion filling his eyes.

"While I was sensing the two Marine ships, I also found a presence of another interesting individual in the island."

"Ooh! Who is it?"

"Why don't we find out?"
