Prologue: The Calm Before the Storm

Ayush groaned as he rolled over in bed, the soft hum of Delhi's early morning traffic drifting through the open window. The sun's first rays peeked through the curtains, casting a golden hue across his room. He stretched lazily, his mind still lingering in the haze of sleep.

A week from now, he would turn 19. It seemed like just yesterday he had finished high school, but in reality, three months had slipped by in the blink of an eye. He had spent the summer preparing for college applications, hanging out with friends, and relishing the last days of his carefree youth.

But today felt different.

As Ayush rubbed his eyes and sat up, he noticed a strange, glowing icon hovering in his vision. He blinked, thinking it was a trick of the light, but it remained, pulsating softly. Intrigued and a bit alarmed, he focused on the icon.

A screen materialized in front of him, filled with cryptic symbols and lines of text. At the top, in bold letters, it read: APOCALYPSE SYSTEM ACTIVATED.

Arjun's heart raced. Was he still dreaming? He pinched himself hard, wincing at the sharp pain that confirmed his wakefulness. The screen remained, waiting for his attention.

"Welcome, Ayush," a calm, robotic voice echoed in his mind. "The Apocalypse System has been activated to prepare you for an impending outbreak. Your task is to survive and protect those you care about."

Ayush's mind whirled. Outbreak? Apocalypse? This sounded like something out of a sci-fi movie. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing thoughts.

"Why me?" he asked aloud,he was just your average Joe the only thing remotely special about him was his knowledge and interest in geopolitics and his 152 IQ

"You have been chosen based on your potential and unique qualities,and your luck" the voice responded. "Your first task is to understand the system and utilize the starter pack provided to you."

A list appeared on the screen:

1. 50 Crore Rupees: Available in a secure bank account.

2. Expert Skill in All Kinds of Weapons: Activated.

3. Summon Ability: Allows you to summon individuals completely loyal to you. The number depends on the skills and expertise you require them to possess

The system continues to speak you will also have access to a inventory.the system will not give you any powers or buff you up unnecessarily if you want rewards from system you will have to work hard to get them and the system is completely passive and will not aid the host in form.it can only give you a chance everything else needs to be done by you yourself

Ayush stared at the list and everything else the system said, his mind struggling to comprehend the implications. Fifty crore rupees? Expert weapon skills? Summoning loyal individuals? It was too much to take in.he didn't even think about anything else the system Said

"Your first quest is to prepare for the outbreak," the voice continued. "Based on your performance, you will receive equivalent rewards. The system will go offline on your birthday after this initial guidance and reactivate just before the outbreak."only the inventory will be functioning in a limited capacity.

Ayush swallowed hard. This was real, and it was happening to him. He needed to act, and fast.

The screen blinked out of existence, leaving Arjun sitting in stunned silence. He glanced around his room, the familiar surroundings suddenly feeling foreign and insignificant in the face of what lay ahead.

He had a week until his birthday, and an unspecified amount of time before the outbreak. He needed to prepare, but how? The system had given him tools, but it was up to him to use them wisely.

Determination replaced his initial shock. He would figure this out. He had to.
