21 Situation in Gotham and start of a new crusade

In Gotham City...

After 10 months...

The crimes due to mental illnesses started dropping after Amarnath hospitals has mad a contract with a new company called "Reagant Medicals and Surgicals Pvt ltd" which was started by a girl called Luna Williams.

It has both Pharmaceutical, Surgical and also other health related things. Ravindra got the clearance for the two machines only after 4 months as it took a lot of trials to confirm that it is not harmful. With the patent on Vishal's name and witth clearance from medical authorities, the usage decreased a number of patients which are criminal or not.

It's not only mental patients. Many cancer patients in the final stage came out alive and started living happily with their families. When the machine was introduced, there was an uproar not only in medical community but all over the world.

Many scientists took it and tried to understand the science behind it but without understanding the fundamentals of Qi, they wouldn't be able to make progress. Vishal felt happy in his heart seeing the guys being saved and going back to their loved ones to have a happy life.

Wayne Enterprises wanted to partner with Reagant but Luna agreed only on contract just like with Amarnath. Vishal and Ravindra met with her for a share since they are the ones who have the machine politely. She told her own dream to make her company big so they only decided to form a contract.

The reason Vishal and Ravindra even asked for a share is because there are vultures out there who can tear her apart if she doesn't take care.

Vishal did not force the matter further because it is her choice and any consequences good or bad which come with the decision is up to her.

He still has things to do. Though lunatics and other guys are decreasing, there are guys who do crime even without it.

Even with the new law in place, they continue to commit because they knew Mystical Punisher was disappointed at the people and disappeared.

Amarnath security corp has taken over the patrols of Crime Alley, Brunley, Tri Corner and Gotham Harbor

They leave the remaining areas to GCPD as an agreement has been formed with the city hall since the effectiveness of Amarnath security corp is far better than the Police department.

Any crime occuring in places patrolled by the corp will be up to them to deal with anyway non lethally or lethally depending on the crime. To deal with a threat lethally, they need to prove that threat cannot be taken down non lethally first.

Vishal and Ravindra accepted the terms without hesitation.

As Vishal was looking through the window from the top from office, a guy with red mask appeared hanging from a rope and knocked on the window.

Vishal opened the window and the red guy entered.

"You seem to be tired." asked Vishal pouring water to Red Hood.

"Took down an extortion ring with machine guns firing all at once. What do you expect?" said Red Hood with his signature bad mouth.

Vishal gave the water to Red Hood and he took off the mask and drank it.

"You should know that you're welcome Jason but there are times I may not be able to help you." said Vishal sternly.

"I know." said Jason as Vishal locked his door and through his communicator asked secretary not to disturb him.

5 months ago Red Hood came crashing into their house with bullet holes in his stomach and shoulder. Ravindra and Vishal took care of him as Vishal took out the bullets and cured him.

Leaving Vishal aside Ravindra saw his real face that day. Vishal explained that this guy is Jason Todd, the second robin who was killed by Joker and Batman who refused to kill did not bring any justice to him.

Ravindra's face twitched after hearing how a 15 year old was tortured for an year.

"How did you know all of this?" asked Ravindra.

"I have my contacts in the GCPD." lied Vishal.

Ravindra did not care if he was Red Hood or not. In his eyes he was a guy who stood for them when crime alley was a rot in Gotham's map.

"I can't believe a father wouldn't pursue justice for his son even if he is adopted." said Ravindra clenching his fist and gritting his teeth.

"If I were to lose you Vishal, I'll go through the court first. If they deny my justice there, then I will hunt down the criminal towards the ends of the earth and tear him apart even if I become a criminal." said Ravindra with anger oozing from words.

"I think it won't be happening anymore because Mystical Punisher put fear into authorities by the hands of people." said Vishal.

Ravindra nodded. He may not agree with MP's methods completely but he doesn't hate him either because there is no denying that he changed Gotham in a most unexpected way.

Recently he could see things reverting back to before. Though it isn't that severe, it is still concerning.

"Do you think the Police can handle the city better than before?" asked Ravindra sceptically.

"Dont know, Papa. The city always attracts negative and it might be related to the dark past this city experienced." said Vishal as he shook Jason who was listening.

"You're still good at eavesdropping Jason." said Vishal.

Jason opened his eyes quickly as he could not deceive Vishal.

"You're a monster kid. How did you know?" asked Jason surprised.

"You don't know but I've awakened my powers to treat so I could see the movement of your pupils and felt your heartbeat." said Vishal.

"Did the league come to take you?" asked Jason.

"They did. But my father used a restraining order on them." said Vishal.

"Damn. You two are savages." said Jason with a grin.

"Oh! I am not going to make my son one of the crusaders among those hypocrites who did not care about the people of the alley before." said Ravindra.

Jason widened his eyes. He never expected such a response even when he knew them.

"You can go on your criminal hunting spree after you recover. We're not going to stop you from doing what needs to be done after recovering. Remember, you protected not only us but the people of the alley in your own way.

As Amarnath security corps has covered the four areas, the criminals won't be making rash moves there. As for the other parts I am not so confidant." said Vishal.

Jason felt his throat heavy. A middle aged father who is nearly 47 years of age and a kid who is 15 years understood him far better than his own adoptive father.

"In the future, you can come and talk to us from time to time. Remember this is not pity to what happened to you. This is lending a ear to vent when you want to do it." said Ravindra with a smile.

Jason could not hold back anymore as the tears came out from his eyes. He cried hard that day after coming back alive. Vishal never expected him to cry but he felt this is better because Jason needs to atleast vent out the weight in his heart.

Jason left after a week of recovery and always came to meet them one day every month since then.

At present he is seated on the sofa. "Don't take out that cigarette." said Vishal.

"You can smoke elsewhere but not hear." said Vishal.

"Man, you sound like Alfie." said Jason.

"Hey I am not stopping you from smoking. I am only asking you to do it elsewhere." said Vishal.

"Alright. No need to get emotional." said Jason.

Vishal might have had a habit of drinking in previous life but he never smoked because he did not want his lungs to affect his mission.

"So, what's the news around the city?" asked Vishal sitting on other sofa.

Jason became serious and said "The Police are starting to back to their old ways again slowly. Though it isn't as intense but some of them are already in the pockets of a new arms dealer "Faulkner".

The rogues gallery seems silent but they have some of the police dancing under their strings. Same goes for some of the judges too."

"I don't understand. Aren't they afraid of MP returning?" asked Vishal.

Jason sighed and said "They know that MP is disappointed and left so they are getty ballsy again."

"For what it's worth that kid was something incredible. Broke the crime lords and changed the system for good but I always feel like Gotham is cursed to be tainted by crime." said Jason with irritation.

Vishal did not say anything as he knows about why things are reverting. The supernatural cause behind it.

"What about Batman and the league? Shouldn't they able to stop the corruption?" asked Vishal.

"Not happening kid. Gordon might have changed some of his ways but it is impossible with my old man." said Red Hood.

"Do you want to come home to sleep today? We have a room for you." said Vishal.

"Some other time, kid. I have some places to deal with." said Jason as he jumped out of the window and used grappling hook to fly away.

"I think the time has come for a new persona to draw the league's attention. To make criminals pay for what they have done." said Vishal to himself.

He went home and went to a nearby sewer to open a wall to see his new costume.

He wore it. It is a bionic armor which can withstand the attacks of Superman himself which can return back the impact of his attack. He did not want to use magical powers this time.

He will use guns and weapons along with Martial Qi to deal with the enemies. The face mask is helmet which had a design of the hero from "V for Vendetta". The insides had a detective vision along with other software.

The suit was in grey colour with a grey cloak. He had the hand guards with all the buttons and gadgets and a utility belt.

"Now as soon as some of the rogues breakout, I will begin my crusade. I will make so much noise for the league to come for me." said Vishal taking out a gun and a Axe.
