63 Before the face off with Lobo
After 20 days...
Vishal has been busy taking care of the company while his dad is on vacation. Carla has been a big help because the company has began expanding into food delivery and transportation business. Since the scale of the business is high, it required a lot of work on his part. Being a nephalem helped him a lot because he need not sleep during the hectic days and he would be fine.
Both him and Carla had the talk about the future. Carla was reluctant at first but he convinced that he is going to have another wife in the future. He told her that he wouldn't make false promises that all the attention will be towards her but he did say that he will cherish as much time as he can with both of them. He also had another idea. He will use the doppleganger skill to spend time with both of them in the future.
The system has informed him that there is only 10 days before the arrival of Lobo. For some reason Vishal didn't feel anything even after the announcement from the system. He was resting in his bed and it was the night time.
He replied "Being too OP will make you feel that even a powerful enemy is not worth my time".
"Don't kill him then host. Just whop his ass and send him back." said the system.
"That's a tough decision this time. He wiped out his own planet for his own amusement. If I don't hit him hard he will cause even more things like that." said Vishal.
"Just listen to me this time host. Don't kill him but introduce him to death itself." said the system.
Vishal fell into deep thought and weighed the pros and cons about killing him and keeping him alive.
He thought it out and said "Okay, but that biker guy shouldn't cause anymore mayhem on earth in the future."
"Understandable. You're being cautious because he can come back with more arsenal in the future and there can be collateral damage." said the system.
"Yeah. I don't mind fighting foes like these myself but our battle can ravage the cities and kill innocents. Even when I removed the curse my dopplegangers handled the spell and killed the creatures without any life loss but the situation here is different." replied Vishal.
"I will teleport the two of you into moon. Fight it out there." said the system.
"That's better." said Vishal.
"Now coming back to the other issue at hand. The rings which have escaped into universe after death of Sinestro and some of his members have found new guys but whenever one wore them they would fear the ring itself. It's a good thing you have put a curse on those rings otherwise there would be someone else that would have become their owner." said system.
"A mage uses tricks to hide what he has done. None of the magicians including Dr.Fate noticed that I cursed those rings because they were distracted by something else." said Vishal.
"Where's Joker now?" asked Vishal.
"He is hiding in the aqeuducts in the Metropolis and is in deep underground cave." said the system.
"Hmm. Looks like he has taken refuge to avoid Superman's X-ray vision. He must have covered it with lead." thought Vishal.
"He doesn't want you to especially find him host. Even though Joker is not afraid of death, he is afraid when his death is not extravagant or glorious. You could have seen it in Batman/Punisher comic where Punisher nearly took his life in an alley." said the system.
"haha. Seeing Joker afraid did put a smile on my face. I curse Batman for interfering that time because Punisher would have removed the biggest stain in Gotham." said Vishal laughing.
"The line "I got all the therapy you need right here, comedian" still cracks me up even now." said Vishal.
"It's bad luck I can't see that scene in live but still when I got Marvel Universe I will have a talk with Frank since he is one of the guys who can help me take on Liark." said Vishal to system.
"Mhmm. Don't forget about Ghost Rider host. The powers he got from Mephisto can turn the tide of battle in the future though you would have to make him submit to you." said the system.
"No rest for an anti hero right. As soon as I am done with Lobo I would have to take out some of the female villains. Only then I would have some time to spend time with my darling Carla and my father. The events after 1 year will be Injustice." sighed Vishal.
"I hate to say it but you are right. You have less time to relax. You should start gathering people on your side. A third faction who doesn't side with either Regime or Insurgence." said the system.
"Yeah, I've been thinking about that. I'd like to go with the Red Hood ending of Injustice 2 before, during and after Injustice 1 and 2." said Vishal.
"I can sense some pride when you are saying it. Can I know why?" asked the system.
"The ending dialogue of Injustice 2 for Red Hood I can never forget. I'd like to utter those lines now.
"With the invasion over, Bruce and Superman starting fighting again.
I wasn't down with either of them.
On one hand Regime's right. Scumbag murderers and Rapists deserve to die.
But on the other hand, I'm no fan of government authority. Especially the dictatorial variety.
So while the world's finest fight each other, I fight for the people.
The weak. The innocent. Anyone who can't protect themselves. When they cry out for a savior I'll answer.
As for the criminals who threaten them? They need to know their actions have consequences. That the Red Hood is coming for them."
"That's one epic line that signifies that he is not with either of the factions who are busy fighting one another instead of protecting people from the villains and I can never forget it." said Vishal.
"Red Hood would be happy to know that someone is rooting for him." said the system.
"It has been an year since I have seen him. He said that there are some troubles in Europe that requires Outlaws assistance. Even I did not probe into it that much." said Vishal.
"The Doom Patrol has asked their assistance against Candlemake in Europe." said the system.
"Damn. They are against a powerful supernatural threat. I hope that they come back safe." said Vishal closing his eyes.
"No need to worry about that host. They will come back safely due to the magical barrier bracelets you gave them an year ago." said the system.
"Let's hope so." said Vishal.
"News about the war between Orange Lanterns and Guardians?" asked Vishal.
"It's a stalemate for now host. The guardians faced a crushing defeat recently due to the expansion of orange rings due to the control Parallax has on Larfreeze. But the situation as a whole isn't leaning on either side." said the system.
"haha. I'd like to look at those politican faces right now. Bastards had the gall to say that Sector 666 wasn't their fault." Vishal mocked the guardians.
"Karma host. You might not feel its affects immediately but it might act in few years or it might come haunting their descendants in most unexpected ways and hit them hard." said the system.
"Yep. They're going to lose one of their own during Injustice. I will be there to see it happen." said Vishal.
This has become his habit. Whenever he is alone he talks with the system. Even system likes to chat with him because unlike the guys it possessed before him he was the only one who treated it with the respect it deserves and did not make any unreasonable demands.
System knows that Vishal is unlike other guys from earth. It could sense the truth when Vishal said that he would ask the Supreme being to punish him after he has lived long enough in this world with his two wives he wants to get.
Vishal did not hide the fact and told it to the system that after his wives pass off with old age he would go back to the divine space to the Supreme being. That was one of the reasons why system did not give him unreasonable tasks.
The system has been in contact with other systems in other multiverses without Vishal knowing and it came to know that it has the best host compared to other systems. The system decided to bring him close to his future second wife as soon as Vishal leaves for India for an inspection trip.
Vishal decided to sleep and the system received a patch which required an entire night to download so it went to downloading it.
