68 Chapter 69 Interrogation

("Hallo it's me, i have come back to upload more chapters, the English fest i was talking about actually ended a day earlier, but it was friday meaning it was my break days"

Kurai's POV

"I'll start with the questions" said Sentinel Tigreal "what is your Name, Rank, and Intention?"

("How the f*ck did this guy know i was analyzing him?" said Kurai "did he guessed it? did he know i was using Analysis on him or did he know because i stood up and stared at him?")

Seeing Kurai pondering on something, the sentinel repeats his question "i will not repeat myself again, name, rank, and intention?"

(".....i'll deal with it later" said Kurai)

"Kurai Himitsuno, wanderer, and wandering " said Kurai

"You don't look like your from the Wanderers' race" said Sentinel Tigreal

("Wanderer race? tf is this guy talking about?" said Kurai)

"What? I'm not from this "wanderer" race, i am a wanderer that travels around the continent" said Kurai "what even is a "wanderer" race?"

"Don't change the subject" said Sentinel Tigreal "even if you are just a wanderer, everybody should be aware in the continent's northern region that people can't enter the Winter Highlands except the Highland's citizens, soldiers, and higher ups or people with a Highland Token"

"What's a highland token?" asked Kurai

"...."

Sentinel Tigreal looks at Kurai in confusion and shock before showing him a white token with a lion head

"Yeah i don't know what that is..." said Kurai

"..."

Sentinel Tigreal looks at Kurai in confusion ("The winter highlands is literally one of the major powerhouses of the northern region meaning everyone in the region should at least know some of our rules when traveling near our area and for some reason this guy don't know sh*t?")

"So you're an idiot" said Sentinel Tigreal

"What kind of observation is that?" said Kurai

"You literally came here not knowing the rules and repercussions" said Sentinel Tigreal "and you say that you're a "wanderer" and that your intention is "wandering" do you think I'll fully beleive that"

"From my observations you are wearing mostly elven armor and some armors that doesn't seem to originate in this region,tell me, what is your relation with elven kingdom?"

Kurai ponders, thinking of what to say (" i am f*cked, what would happen if i tell him i was once a prisoner of the elves")

"umm..."

"Umm what" said Sentinel Tigreal "answer or cromsteel won't be the only thing that will chain you"

("Yep...i am very f*cked" said Kurai)

"Well...i can tell you right now that i am a wanderer, in this region i started my journey by traveling to the Xylon Empire then i headed to the Northernwest Forest where the elven kingdom is, a few hours of being there i was then arrested by the elves for "trespassing their forbidden grounds" then multiple dormant calamities appeared around the kingdom that only i was knowledgeable about, then as an exchange of helping them clear it i was able to gain my freedon back, then lastly after a period of observing my map of the northern region, i chose the winter highlands as my next destination and after a period of time i stepped into one of your traps and got arrested"

Sentinel Tigreal ponders over Kurai's statements ("well that could very much explain why he's wearing elven armor, the unidentified armor…..well i don't really care about it as much as this dormant calamity that he is talking about, multiple dormant calamities appearing around the elven kingdom...how intriguing")

"Explain this dormant calamities that occured in the elven kingdom" asked Sentinel Tigreal

"Well if i summarize it, basically four rifts appeared with one each on every corner around the elven kingdom, those rifts contains multiple monsters and evils and if it's not cleared over a period of time, those monsters and evils would be able to come out of the rifts and wreak havoc on the elven kingdom, we did manage to clear all of them at the cost of multiple casualties of swordsmen and mages, one of the four captain's death, and another captain being severely injured" said Kurai

("A captain's death and another one severely injured?!, that's a great loss of power for the elven kingdom but if probably doesn't matter that much because of the elven queen's prowess" said Sentinel Tigreal)

"I'll believe your story for now" said Sentinel Tigreal "but you will remain here for trespassing"

"You'll be here for at most a year, 6 months if your on good behavior" said Sentinel Tigreal "don't think of trying to escaping because it'll just lengthen your sentence, im not afraid of you trying to escape because clearly you don't know our prowess"

"So just stay there until your sentence ends" said Sentinel Tigreal before leaving

Kurai looks at the leaving sentinel's figure ("what kind of a prison arc is this").....
