10 Chapter 9: Gundam Mascot - Haro!
It was not until 5 pm that Junichirou finally arrived at his home.
*Doors opening*
As soon as he opened the doors, Junichirou could smell the fragrances of food from the front of his house. The aroma of the miso soup, the sizzling of fried dishes, and the protest of his stomach entered his brain while he put his shoes back on the rack.
"Tadaima! (I'm home)."
After he said so, it was no later than that he can hear Ayase's voice from the direction of the kitchen.
"Okaerinasai! (Welcome home) The food is not ready yet, so you could take a bath first before eating dinner."
"Sure!" Replied Junichirou as he goes to his bedroom to put his bag and take his change of clothes before going to the bathroom.
As a normal Japanese home, this house also has a bathtub inside. It might be because of how Japanese people like to take a bath but this is something different from his previous life culture that uses a different bathing method.
It is surely convenient that he gets his predecessor's memories since he truly has no idea what is the bathing etiquette here without those.
Junichirou washes his body first before going to the bathtub that is already filled. In Japan, you will not waste the bathwater after it is filled and only drain the water until all the family members have taken a bath. Hence, this water is actually Ayase's leftover. Though, he will not do anything to it and just bathe normally since he is not a pervert.
While bathing, Junichirou opened his system as he had already completed his beginner mission.

"Yes," Junichirou said to the system in a low voice as the interface in the system changed to that of a gacha machine filled with oranges capsules.
The machine automatically turned itself as an orange capsule flew out of the machine to the front of Junichirou. After the capsule stops spinning, it opens its inside as orange blinding light fills Junichiro's vision. Though, all of this is just an illusion since only he can see them.
The light finally faded away revealing a blueprint that showed the new technology he obtained.

"Holy Seed!" As Junichiro shouted that out, he realized that saying that inside a bathroom with Ayase cooking outside is a bad idea.
He waited for a while and it seems that she didn't hear his shout just now.
'Fuh… Looks like the wall in this bathroom is quite soundproof huh?'
As he thinks so, information and data from the system enter his brain. Unlike the first time he gets information from the system, he no longer feels the burden or pain from massive information transfer.
This is because his brain has been adjusted by the system before and his brain has become somewhat similar to a person who dopes in NZT-48 from the Limitless movie without side effects. Though, Junichirou still hasn't realized the full capability of his brain right now.
'While it is a shame that I didn't get a Gundam, getting the mascot HARO is more important for my technology progression. After all, unlike Gundam, I can sell HARO or more exactly its peripheral technology, Artificial Intelligence'
As someone who comes from the fifth industrial revolution of mass customization of a product, He knows what is the full potential of Artificial Intelligence.
Haro is the mechanical mascot of the Gundam franchise and is one of the few characters that appear in more than one Gundam timeline.
It is a ball/sphere-shaped robot that has basic artificial intelligence as well as a range of features, including facial recognition, voice recognition, rudimentary speech, and the ability to move both under gravity and in zero-G by rolling, walking, and jumping. As for the more advanced ability, it will depend on the timeline of the Gundam series.
In the Universal Century timeline, or the main timeline for Gundam Multiverse(RX-78-2, NU, Zeta, Crossbone, Victory, Unicorn, Hathaway, etc). One such unit was heavily customized by Amuro, who gave it to his friend Fraw Bow as a present. The features added by Amuro include a more advanced AI, a pair of five-fingered manipulators, and the ability to measure brainwaves. Haro AI continued to advance in this timeline until it possesses a remarkably advanced artificial intelligence in the Victory Gundam series, and is even capable of piloting mobile suits.
In the Cosmic Era timeline, or Gundam SEED (Strike, Freedom, Astray, Justice, etc) timeline. The Haro here has similar capabilities albeit being ¼ smaller than the UC timeline counterpart.
In the Advanced Generation timeline or Gundam AGE timeline, the Haro is created by the main character Flit Asuno. This Haro appears to be extremely elastic and has the ability to bounce as high as a mobile suit's cockpit. It also has a "PC Mode" which allows it to be used as a computer and also links to the AGE System.
Finally, the most advanced Haro is the one in the Anno Domini timeline or 00 Gundam (Exia, 00 Gundam) timeline. Their primary function is maintenance over Celestial Being's technology. They can assist in piloting a Gundam, calibrate systems, repair, network communications, and have their own AI to make certain independent judgments.
While doing maintenance, the Haros usually pilot machines called "Karel" in order to physically facilitate the repairs. While they have legs and arms to travel and walk, they tend to remain in their ball form when traveling around in space or land.
The best-known Haro is the orange version used by Lockon Stratos, who uses it to pilot Gundam Dynames while Dynames is in sniper mode. In fact, the Ptolemaios carried at least 28 Haros. It is unknown how many are carried on the Ptolemaios 2 though along with Lockon's orange Haro and Saji's red Haro, a green Haro was also known to be aboard and helped from time to time with the repairs to both Ptolemy and the Gundams.
And the Haro technology that Junichiro gets consists of all timelines Haro and even the one in the Gundam Build Diver Series where the Haro also has holographic projection technology.
'Is this the so-called buy 1 get many scenarios? From Material, Energy, Artificial Intelligence, Holographic projection, Sensor, and more!'
As he counted the number of technologies that Haro contained, He couldn't help but be surprised. Though, when he thinks of smartphones, this is normal since high tech is usually a culmination of many technologies.
Without a chip, LED panel, touchscreen, Camera, battery, and other parts, you can't create a smartphone. So technology is not a standalone product but an intersection between different technologies too.
Nonetheless, Junichiro still needs to have the necessary knowledge for digesting all this information. Probably going to the library tomorrow would be a good idea to start with since he still has many missing pieces of knowledge.
As he thought so, Junichiro finished his bath and changed into new clothes. He then goes to the dining room and sees that Ayase is almost done cooking.
'Hey!… Looks like it is really good to have someone who can cook in your house huh?'
While Junichirou is actually able to cook from his past life experiences of living alone, the predecessor of this body can not. Since it would be weird if he was suddenly able to cook, he can only enjoy the life of being served by Ayase…
Of course, it was really not because he wanted to taste Ayase's cooking again...Ahem!
Finally, the food is ready and both of them face each other at the dining table. As there are only two of them here, the food Ayase cooked is relatively simple. Though, it was still delicious looking as always.

After saying the prayer, both of them went on with their dinner.
"So how is your first day of school?" Junichirou asks as he decides to end the awkwardness in the room.
"Pfft?? Now you want to act like a parent? Isn't today also your first day of school?" replied Ayase as she mocked him.
Flustered by the reply she gives, Junichirou decided to ask her more since he doesn't want to be on the losing end.
"Ah… Well, I just want to ask that to find a topic of conversation… Though, does something bad really happen to you that you decided to shift the topic of conversation?" Asked Junichiro as he could smell something fishy going on.
"W-what, No! Nothing happened! It's just that I met someone I don't like on the first day of school." Blurt out Ayase in agitation.
"Oho, and who might that be that can be disliked by our cute little angel Ayase on our first day of school?" Junichirou asked in a gossip tone before he realized his mistake just now.
"C-cute little a-angel?... W-what are you talking about! Anyway, she is just a girl who is a thieving cat and also a delusional girl with an 8th grader syndrome like a certain someone in front of me, you don't need to know more about her!" Said Ayase while blushing from his mistake in calling her earlier.
After all, he accidentally called her using the name of her title from an otaku group in his previous life. Though, he seems to remember that this title seems to stem from the anime itself where it shows a fan website with this title.
'Well, she didn't seem to care much about that title. On the other hand, it seems that she met Kuroneko today at school… If I remember correctly, her relationship with Kuroneko is described as very bad due to their mismatched personality and that time circumstance.'
Ayase and Ruri weren't on good terms, to begin with. During their first meeting, Ayase was shocked when Ruri claimed that she owns Kyousuke; despite having broken up with him, she still remains a true friend to Kirino, which Ayase deemed incomprehensible.
To make matters worse, Ruri inferred that she is not opposed to Kyousuke having intercourse with his own sister much to the shock of Ayase. As their debate grew more and more unreasonable, the animosity between them grew also.
'I don't know if she and Ruri end up reconciling with each other. It will be very shocking to her if she knows that not only Ruri stole her love interest (Kyousuke) and even her brother later on…(me).'
"What about you? Can you even socialize?" Junichirou thought was interrupted by Ayase's question.
"Hah? Are you underestimating your big brother? This big brother of yours already belongs to a game-making club in the school you know! Furthermore, two of its members are actually the two most beautiful girls in our school before the new students come in!" Junichirou said so with a smirk expression.
Though his answer is only met with a pitying gaze and unbelieving stare.
*Jiiiiiiii (stare)
"Aniki… If you want to make up your lie,... Please make it at least believable! How come the two most beautiful girls in our school go make a game with you! I would rather believe you to make a game with an otaku like you in school!"
Ayase said so as she got up from the table and put the dish in the dishwasher.
She then takes her school bag and goes to the front door while saying "You go wash the dishes, I will go back to our parent's house!"
"W-wait! I'm really saying the truth you know! Wait, are you mad because I don't include you in the most beautiful girls in our school? Didn't I say that they are only the most beautiful before the new students come in? If it is now, I think you deserve a place in the most beautiful girl ranking in our school!"
"B-Baka Aniki! T-that's not what I mean! Forget it! You can think however you want!"
*Bam*
The sound of the front door closing reverberated in the room as Junichiro was left alone in this house.
"Well, whatever… After all, I told the truth just now."
Junichiro murmurs as such before washing the dish and then going to his bed. It was a very long day for him as many events from anime happen right in front of him in real life.
