Chapter 1

Once upon a time there was a princess that lived at a kingdom. She was the cleverest of all and the best child of all the children of the king. Her name was Bernadette Foreland, for her knowledge her father, the king, recommended her to be the minister of the foreland kingdom but governor Fernan and governess Sandra doesn't find the idea a good one because they are jealous of her because even though she was still a young lady she was very good at making strategies. Governor Fernan thought of a plan to kill Bernadette, he hired a group of mercenaries to attack Bernadette's patrol group at the Brecillian forest.

When Bernadette receive a message saying that a group of thieves were harassing the merchants that is trying to leave the kingdom by that way, Bernadette planned to go and help the harassed merchants while her cousins were trying to stop her because they got a bad feeling about the quest but Bernadette told them that she will be alright so they don't need to worry about her.

"Bernadette this patrol you're going to do, doesn't seem to be a good idea" said by Hannah

"She's right; you should just leave this matter to the royal guards"

"Don't you worry; I'm a big girl already you shouldn't worry about me like a mother"

"But-"

"Just wish me luck, okay"

"As you wish but stay safe"

"Yes, bye"

While Bernadette's team was patrolling the forest a group of mercenaries ambushed them, all of her guards died while she just fainted because she was heavily wounded. Before she completely loses consciousness she saw a person approaching her then her sight blacked out. When she woke up she can't remember what happened, it appears that she lost some of her memories, while she was being confuse a guy entered the room holding a bowl of soup, she tried to attack him using basic magic but she was surprised when he easily dodge the attack. The mysterious guy introduces himself as Jack the sorcerer, Bernadette asked him about what happened and where she is.

"Who are you? Where am I? What am I doing here?" she ask

Jack answered her questions with another question, surprisingly all she remembers was her name and some of her basic spells.

"Your skills are remarkable"

"Don't change the subject"

"First of all let me answer your question with another question, what are you doing at the dangerous part of the forest with a small group of guards?"

"What do you mean?"

"So you cannot remember anything?"

"All I can remember are names and people faces"

"You can't really remember anything at all?"

"Yes"

"Let me offer a way out"

Jack complimented her skills and offered her to learn the spells that Jack has learned. Bernadette accepted Jack's deal for all she know that magic can help her to found out who she really is and what truly happened, so after Bernadette was healed they started the lesson of magic.

After a few years Bernadette mastered all of Jack's spells, Jack was very proud of her as his student and daughter. While Bernadette was looking for ingredients that she need for her potion, she heard a loud thud that cause the birds to fly away. Surprised and confuse, Bernadette run in order to find out what the loud thud is, while she was running she saw a Minotaur chasing two young men that is riding a palace horse.
