93 THE FIGHT BETWEEN THE MONSTERS

Upon their arrival in Jamtara, Asura and the other's attention was immediately drawn to the intense battle, especially the duel between Sir Eric and Monster Abyss.

Uncle Blond spoke to Princess Moon, saying, "Princess, you and the others can wait here and observe the battle. I will go and report the situation of the royal palace to the king." After saying that, he flew where the king was.

Princess Moon nodded, well aware that her father would be pleased to hear that the royal palace situation had been resolved. They disengaged, both leaping back to create some distance. Monster Abyss grinned which looked wicked thanks to his ugly face, a toothy smile that sent shivers down Sir Eric's spine. "Impressive, Sir Eric," he hissed. "But you won't stop me."

With a quick, fluid motion, Sir Eric launched himself forward, closing the gap between them. He struck out with a flurry of precise, calculated sword blows, each one aimed at a vulnerable spot in Monster Abyss's defense. Moonlight danced through the air, leaving streaks of silvery light in its wake.

Monster Abyss parried each attack with a mix of brute force and dark energy. He countered with a devastating kick that sent Sir Eric tumbling backward through the sky. But Sir Eric righted himself, using his momentum to regain his footing. He couldn't afford to be on the defensive for long.

Sir Eric's swordplay was a beautiful, deadly dance. His movements were graceful, his strikes well-timed, and his focus unwavering. He pressed the attack, determined to break through Monster Abyss's defenses.

Sir Eric's eyes blazed with determination. He channeled all his remaining strength into Moonlight. The sword emitted a blinding, radiant glow, and with a burst of power, he forced Monster Abyss to his knees.

Monster Abyss howled in agony as the radiant energy coursed through him. With a final, thunderous blow, Sir Eric almost drove Moonlight through Monster Abyss's heart. However, Monster Abyss suddenly roared like a wild beast and punched Sir Eric so hard that he flew a few dozen meters backward. When Sir Eric stabilized himself, there was a trace of blood at the corner of his mouth.

Sir Eric frowned, realizing that Monster Abyss had become deadly serious. The punch he had just delivered was a Battle Skill, and if Sir Eric's strength hadn't been unsealed, he might have died from that attack.

The other strange aspect was that Monster Abyss didn't shout his Battle Skill's name while he used it. he simply roared. While it wasn't a requirement to shout the name of a Battle Skill when using it, most people chose to do so, or at the very least, they would say their skill's name slowly. This was a way to show respect for their Battle Skill and to make it famous. However, it was evident that Monster Abyss had no interest in spreading the name of his Battle Skill.

Sir Eric, already serious from the start, was now more determined than ever. He was resolved to defeat this monster at any cost, and he leaped towards Monster Abyss once again.
