totally did not forget to upload yesterday

opening my eyes, I woke up in my usual bedroom, looking at the time it was 5 AM as usual, quickly washing my face and putting on my tracksuit I made my way out and did my usual workout

upon returning to the apartment after my workout I quickly washed up any sweat left on my body and got ready for school, opening the door of my apartment I saw Mahiru also getting out of her apartment, waving quickly at her to get her attention I approach her
"good morning Mahiru, wanna go to school together?" I greeted her with my usual smile
"ah, good morning Hayashi, are you sure coming to school with me is a good idea?" she looked at me with a skeptical look
"what is so bad about coming to school with you?" I feigned ignorance
"well... if you want to go with me, then you're welcome to do so but be prepared for every eye in school to glare at you" she said with a serious tone
"yay, cmon what are you waiting for, let's go" I happily skipped my step to the elevator
"why does it feel like you're ignoring my words" Mahiru quickly followed me to the elevator

reaching the gate of the school, I felt many eyes on us as we walked toward the school entrance
"eh, why are they walking together?"
"could they be dating already?"
"tch, lucky bastard being neighbor with the angel"
many voice was around, some were hushed but others let their opinion out to the public
"It should've been me, not him, it's not fair!" one person slammed the ground with his hand, a bit of an overreaction in my opinion

"Sometimes I wonder how you got into high school with that kind of ignorance" Without turning her head to me Mahiru replied to me
"what can I say, I'm just that special" I smugly reply, reaching Mahiru's class I bid goodbye to her and quickly made my way to my class but several guys blocked my way
"hey guys, can you move I need to get my class" I smiled trying to get out of this situation
"why are you with the angel early in the morning?" one voice called out
"I saw Mahiru going out of her apartment, so I invited her to go to school together" replying to the question
"Are you guys dating?"
"Haha, no we are not currently dating and probably never"
"then why are you guys walking together to school"
"Can I not?"
"bu- ugh" he faltered
"All alright, Q and A is over the class is about to start soon" I announced to dispel the crowd and thankfully all of them quickly returned to their classroom leaving me to go to my class

reaching my class I saw that almost all eyes were on me, I nervously made my way to my seat and tried to ignore all the stare
"what were you thinking walking with Mahiru to school" a voice was directed at me, looking over it was Fujimiyu
"ah Fujimiyu good morning, well I wasn't thinking about the reaction that I would get"
"Sometimes I slowly want to believe you are a crazy person like Mahiru said"
"why does everyone think I'm crazy!?"
"good morning class" the teacher entered the class signaling us to stop talking

"OK, that's enough for today, don't forget to do the homework I've given you"
