Warmth Amongst The Cold

The glacial wind swept through the huge sports field in Kuoh Academy, signs of the coming winter. The sun had been laying low for a while now, and Fall had lasted for just a blink. Female students wore the famous bloomers, much to the delight of the male population of this school, but they were now putting on jackets to shield themselves from the ambient cold atmosphere. Today was sports day, the whole afternoon would be dedicated to further oneself in terms of physical development, or it would be if the Japanese education system wasn't so lacking in this aspect. As much as Japan's culture abhorred anyone different from thin, they didn't put a whole lot of emphasis on physical education.

I watched the students running around the field while their physical education teacher was observing them with... great interest. Mr Kozuki, the sports teacher, was small, obese, and overall disgusting. He looked like one of these teachers from adult anime animation... the kind that forces themselves on students then blackmail them. He had a bad reputation among students due to his appearance, some wondering why someone that was so out of shape was their physical education teacher. I had yet to manage to pin a crime on him, as the man was quite slippery and didn't leave a lot of evidence behind him but I already caught him doing the same kind of activities you would expect from the Perverted Trio that hadn't joined high school yet.

Kuoh Academy has become a prestigious school that raised the bar for entrance through the roof, therefore most if not all students here were at least from the upper region of the middle class. Some were even heirs of big companies so, in such an environment, blackmail would be extremely effective. If there was some sort of relationship between a student and a teacher, they would immediately blame the teacher, accusing him of rape and ruin his life even if both parties were willing, but that didn't mean the student would get out scot-free in terms of reputation. She would be disowned at best, and simply kicked out at worst.

I simply couldn't let such evil go rampant among my cute students... Who was I kidding, I probably couldn't care less if this happened, the ones I had an interest on would be able to retaliate with ease since they were either devil or practised kendo and the others simply didn't enter my radar at all. No, in reality, I was currently gathering a dossier on Kozuki's behaviour due to boredom in between classes. Ever since I got a taste of fight, I realized that my pool of interests became smaller and smaller. Teaching was one of the few things that I liked now, but most of my other pastimes were uninteresting to me.

I noticed that some students were now looking at me. It wasn't shocking considering my popularity in school, although I was extremely tall, maybe too much for some of these women, it was safe to say that I was prime material for them, and my position as a teacher did nothing to stop them from 'thinking' about me, in fact, the chances that it only heightened their fantasies were high.

Noticing where the looks of the girls running were going, Kozuki snarled and spat on the ground, knowing that the massive English teacher was sniffing around his business. He had yet to manage to blackmail his preys in this school because of him, plus my general disposition and looks made him both hate me and fear me. I simply smiled in his direction, making him flinch back in fright and fall, eliciting mocking stares from the students. As I was about to leave the field, I heard a somewhat sultry voice behind me, from someone I sensed sneaking behind me. " Ara ara Mr Aellias, I didn't know you had such interest in young highschool girl... "

I sighed but held a smirk on my face. I wouldn't consider Akeno for my peerage, but I wouldn't mind having a fling with her, the problem was that she would get too attached to me and if I had no intention to take her more permanently, it would become problematic in the long run. Her attempts at seducing me were working but simply not working enough so that I would change my original stance on her. Too many things in the canon work made me not wanting a serious relationship with her, and contrary to Rias, I wasn't willing to try and change her. It could be different in the future, as we were 3 years away from canon, but for now, I didn't entertain the thought.

But that didn't mean I wasn't willing to play along with her.

" Miss Himejima, I think of you as an exemplary student, thus I would like to know what someone like you isn't in her classroom right now since I know that you are supposed to be studying maths. " I said, smirking, which she reciprocated, knowing that I wouldn't punish her for it. She was too much advanced in her studies for the courses of Highschool, even in a prestigious school like this one.

" Mr Aellias, I am flattered by your thought of me... but I am not as good as you think, I've been a bad girl recently... " she accentuated her chest by putting her arms under it, and she walked towards me, putting an extra sway on her hips, " I think it is your duty as a teacher to... handle cases like me... "

Akeno arrived in front of me, and due to my height, she had to crane her head up to look into my eyes. Her head was at the lower end of my chest, and because of this, her hands at the perfect height, as she 'accidentally' grazed my privates. The mirth and lust in her eyes could not be mistaken.

" If we were to talk about punishment," I said, leaning towards her, and due to my overall stature, exposed my defined chest and arms bearly contained by my suit, making her shiver in excitement as I saw her licking her lips and looking at my body with a lot of attention. " Then I think Mr Kozuki is more fitting to distribute them. " I whispered in her ears, not with a seductive tone but with a mocking one. My words completely broke her out of her fantasies as she looked at me like I betrayed her and shuddered in fear when she thought about the physical education teacher. I laughed, not realizing how loud I was, and simply patted her shoulder before leaving the area. She shouted something about her not being done yet but I didn't acknowledge her words anymore and simply waved at her.

As I was walking back towards my class, I saw Rias standing in front of the door, looking at me with laughing eyes. She obviously caught my interaction with her queen, I simply smiled and headed towards her. I knew that nobody was in the surroundings due to my exceptional senses, which took time to be accustomed to, so I could act normally with the Gremory heiress, without putting a mask which quite frankly tires me out. Neither the old me nor this new me liked to play a persona, I just wanted women and fights, although I could now imagine myself teaching people in martial arts. But alas I knew how necessary it was to not expose oneself, even when strong, the people behind you would stop at nothing to take your spot, no matter how immoral their methods could be.

That was another reason why I wanted strength more than anything else, to be a bit freer in how I interact with others. It was also the reason why I felt so comfortable with Rias. Compared to Akeno which always had a mask on, despite how seductive she acted, Rias felt more natural, her attraction to me, although I could feel that her arranged marriage weighed heavily on her mind, felt more truthfully. I had no doubt that Akeno was interested in my, but she didn't look for men, a boyfriend or something like this, she looked for a pillar, something that I wasn't willing to be for someone I barely met, no matter how much I've seen of her in the show already.

Rias, on the other hand, didn't seem that much desperate, although she was a bit reluctant at times because of Riser, she at least managed to come off as genuine. Surprisingly enough, even if I was sure that she had heavy suspicions on my identity and my power, she didn't act on it openly and seemed content to simply interact with me. That might be one of the reasons why she started to train so harshly, besides my little speeches, since she knew that if she didn't win against Riser, there would be no future between us, although I wouldn't sell myself so soon. It also seemed like she had planned to fight for her marriage rights quite early, making me wonder why the hell canon Rias didn't lift a finger to resolve her problems by herself.

Even if her peerage was a bunch of deeply hurt people with a lot of problems, they still held a lot of potential, demonstrated by their astonishing rate of growth. It was nowhere near mine, even without the help of the system, but it was still praiseworthy. After all, they didn't have the help of a cosmic entity that wanted them to fight to death other people.

I reciprocated the cheerful smile she sent me and sat next to her. We didn't do anything together yet, expect to visit together Kuoh multiple times under the pretence that I didn't know much about the city on a Saturday, but our relationship was great and still growing. The original interest grew and the teasing from the beginning became seducing. She didn't know I knew what she was, but I have multiple times implicated that I felt as if something was different with her. Since she did the same with me, we entered some sort of match where the winning conditions are who can uncover the other's identity the fastest.

It was fun and I didn't have to actively deny everything thanks to this. I didn't know how she, or more specifically how she and her peerage managed to gain that much information on me, but what she discreetly slipped in our conversation was already more than what I felt comfortable sharing until my plans could start. Maybe I underestimated Koneko's senses.

" Well, what do the most beautiful girl of this campus wants with a boring teacher like me? " I said, a smirk on my lips. Although she blushed, she had gotten a bit used to these cheap compliments, even if she still reacted to them, as she knew I genuinely thought that.

" I think you underestimate your effects on the female population Mr Aellias. " she closed the distance between us and stuck close to my arm. " I'm not sure someone that can swoon the entirety of the female students of this school is exactly 'boring' " she said, smirking back at me.

" I thank you for your praises, but I didn't think my few... charms had such effects. A man has got to capitalize on what he has after all. " I said, flexing a bit for demonstration, feeling the strain it put on the extremely large suit that barely fit my body. The reaction was what I expected, as I saw her pupils dilated a bit and her breath got a bit more intense. She didn't watch my body for too long, however, since we were dancing around each other, an action like this could be considered her loss if she didn't react.

" Yes, I think that you may be a bit too good at... capitalizing Mr Aellias. " Her seductive voice sent shivers through my spine. Even if I was a devil myself, I was far less proficient at utilizing the devil's charm as her, and I definitely wasn't immune to hers, as my inhibition to her was already lowered due to my current interest. " Although we haven't seen each other that much outside of school, I am currently facing some difficulties in English that would require... extra attention from you Mr Aellias, and my current schedule would only allow us to meet outside of school... in private. " she added, looking directly into my eyes, her cheeks coloured in a healthy pink and her chest now enveloping my arm.

I smiled at her provocation and simply grabbed her waist a bit possessively, which elicited a small animalistic moan from her. " What do you have in mind dear? " I answered while I lowered my head and approached her lips, she didn't answer, and simply zeroed the distance between us, no longer paying attention to the conversation. When I saw that I got her, I chuckled and released her while her eyes widened, realizing what happened until a feeling of disappointment hit her. She pouted but also released my arm. " Although you already have my mail, I think a more direct way of contacting me would be better " She slipped a card with what I thought was her number on it in the pocket of my shirt, her hand stayed a bit more time on my chest before she retrieved it and smiled broadly at me.

I chuckled and stood up. " In that case Princess," she widened her eyes at the title, " Thank you. I have a class now to attend. See you later. "
