Chapter 9: Perspectives
Ling Yao couldn't remember the last time he felt so excited, and while he remained as composed as possible on the outside, his insides were boiling with excitement at the new range of possibilities that had opened up before him.
Even though he didn't understand the purpose of this "chat" or why he had been chosen, with everything he was being shown, there was no doubt that all the statements he had heard had an almost 100% chance of being true.
Other worlds, some where there were things like magic or more advanced knowledge of qi, he was no stranger to that term, throughout all of Xing there were people who claimed to control qi, some of whom made up his father's personal guard, elite warriors who had the mission of protecting the life of the emperor, but as far as he knew, none of them were able to do what he had just seen this boy called Kyujin do.
Could this knowledge be applied to his own guards? To all the people of his clan?
Perhaps one of these worlds had a different answer to the philosopher's stone to solve his problem?
Ling Yao didn't know, and although he was incredibly excited, he forced himself to breathe deeply but discreetly, inhaling and exhaling to calm himself down.
While being connected to more than one different world meant more chances of finding solutions to whatever problem he had, it was also painfully obvious that searching for answers in one or more new worlds sounded more complicated than searching in the library of his clan.
So, taking this into account, he decided that he would continue searching for information about the treasure that apparently existed in his world, but even so, the prince was determined to make the most of this sudden blessing that had fallen into his lap.

Rem found herself genuinely surprised by everything she was seeing and hearing, were all these people really from beyond the great waterfall?
She didn't want to believe it, her common sense screamed at her that it was nonsense, the very idea sounded crazy and impossible, but what she had seen so far made her doubt.
First, one of them showing a landscape that could very well be the same as what would be seen in an area attacked by a military force of considerable size and power or one where the witch cult did what those bastards usually did.
But this was not what caught her attention the most, because, although the place was somewhat destroyed, Rem could notice that the buildings were unlike anything she had seen before.
And if what the administrator showed was added to that, then her doubts were greatly reinforced.
She knew the essentials of the 3 nations neighboring Lugunica thanks to the education received as a staff of Lord Rosswal, but these types of buildings and structures were unlike anything she had ever seen or heard of.
None of them had the accent of the people of Kararagi, and neither place seemed to have low temperatures, so Gusteko was also ruled out, leaving only the Vollachia Empire.
But could this be the answer?
The Empire located south of Lugunica was widely recognized for its extremist brand of thinking, exalting skill, and power above all, leaving aside the weakest to be belittled at best and massacred at worst.
But the view she saw on the administrator's screen was not something that matched this notion, after all, Rem could see children, families, and the elderly living their lives peacefully, something that no one would associate with the wolf nation.
And although the scenario of the individual named Kyujin could fit in this country, there was something strange, and that was the power he demonstrated, although impressive, to Rem it did not seem as strange, or at least not as strange as the situation and attitude of this person.
If he were from Vollachia, why would someone with that power live in a place as deplorable as that no matter how peculiar and flashy the buildings were? Someone like that in that country would surely be appreciated and exalted by the violent customs that governed those lands.
In addition to that, she had also seen strange objects on the "administrator" screen, metal blocks that passed at high speed from time to time even when there were no dragons pulling them, the strange clothes of the people, the lack of presence of demi-humans, and all the streets seemed almost as big as the central highway in the capital of her country, something incredibly strange.
All of this together shaped a place that did not fit into what Rem would classify as a "common" place in her world.
No, no matter how she thought about it, it was all too strange, and, as much as she wanted to deny it, everything pointed to the fact that she was really dealing with something that would otherwise seem ridiculous and impossible to her, inhabitants of beyond the great waterfall.

'This has to be a bad joke'. Leone couldn't help but grumble at the unrealistic situation she had been in.
When she agreed to join the call, although it was out of curiosity about Ryuichi's words, she thought that she would find strange things and maybe people from far away places who were delirious, but this?
Seeing the ice form on the maid's hand brought a feeling of annoyance that she was sure all those who were against the empire knew because of one name, Esdeath.
If she didn't know what the strongest general in the enemy ranks looked like, maybe for a second I would have believed that this girl was that bitch.
But since that wasn't the case, all of this only left her with more doubts, and although she wasn't the most attentive person with the annoying information, she made sure to pay attention when it came to the teigus, even more so if they were those of the enemy.
That's why she was so surprised, if people knew of one even remotely similar to the one Esdeath had, then it would be impossible for the wielder to be someone unknown.
After that, there were both the landscapes that Kyujin and Ryuichi showed, similar in a certain way, but as if one were peaceful, and the other had been the scene of a fight between several teigu users, but both were completely different from what she knew.
And from the few times that she had heard her boss, Najenda, talk about the situation in other kingdoms and countries, it seemed that nothing fit with what she was seeing about this "Japan".
And at the end was the power that Kyujin displayed, one similar to that only a teigu wielder would wield, because, although there were some soldiers without teigu who could deal damage similar to what she had seen, these were few, and taking into account the ease with which Kyujin had done it, it would be foolish to believe that this display of strength was the full extent of his abilities.
Leone scratched her head in annoyance, she never liked being forced to think about overly complicated things, her thing was ending the lives of corrupt trash, not dealing with unknown situations like this.
'Why didn't this happen to the boss? I'm sure she would know how to deal with this situation better than me'. She thought as she let out a small sigh of annoyance.
'Well, I'm already in this, and I don't know how to get out, I'll have to manage somehow'. She encouraged herself, no matter how annoying this was, she wouldn't allow herself to be knocked down by anything without first fighting with all her might.

"H-holy founder, how can this be real?" Henrietta's incredulous whisper was heard by no one, covered by the noise of the carriage as it moved forward.
What kind of situation was this? In less than an hour, her world had been shaken until she began to doubt everything she knew, all these people were showing things that, according to her common sense, were impossible.
The moment she saw the blue-haired girl doing magic without a wand she felt as if her heart was going to burst out of her chest with fear, after all, the only ones capable of doing such a thing were the elves, incredibly powerful beings who despised to humans and lived beyond the desert.
She unconsciously looked at the girl's ears, confirming that they were not long, and pointed before looking at the others and discovering something that she had not noticed until now.
'Were those cat ears?!' She noted in disbelief looking at the blonde girl's head, was something like that even possible?
And it was also at that moment that the administrator's words echoed again in her mind.
'Other worlds'
The mere thought filled her with doubts and insecurities, and Kyujin's display of power only served to scare her even more, why she of all people in Halkeginia?
Was this the omen of an unfavorable fate for her or her kingdom? The opportunity to make an alliance that would benefit her country? A simple coincidence?
Henrietta honestly didn't know, but from everything she had seen, both the interesting and the worrying things, her instincts were screaming at her that being on positive terms with these people would be the right thing to do.
With that in mind, the princess forced herself to calm down while taking a deep breath, she could not allow herself to lose control of the situation, not now, she already had practice with unfavorable situations thanks to the "esteemed" members of the council.
And although this was a much bigger stage, the situation was the same, and she would play her role in the same way she had done so many times until now.
'Keep calm, no matter what happens, I must make sure that nothing that happens between me and these people harms Tristain'

Wiping the dust from his knuckles, Kyujin smiled with a bit of arrogance, despite his initial thoughts and suspicions he found himself quite excited, after all, he had just discovered that magic was real and that there were more worlds!
Would this be like those mangas that were in fashion before the attack of the dolls? Isekai and reverse Isekai?
Perhaps Ryu, Leo-Leo, and the others would be partners on their path to save the world like in fantasy stories?
Kyujin looked closely at each face and tried to imagine them trying to confront the dolls, and only then did he notice the cat ears that Leo-Leo had on her head.
Yes, this idea of partners from another world excited him.
Now, the only thing he needed to figure out was how they could meet.
And it was then that something that happened outside the window caught his attention.

'At the moment, it seems that things are going relatively well'. I thought as I watched every expression of the members of this chat, for now I was sure that Kyujin already accepted the situation, and if I had to guess, I would say that "Greedy Heir" was also quite open to accepting what I was saying.
And although I wasn't completely sure about Leone and "Unfortunate Princess", it seemed like the "maid" demonstration had shaken them up considerably, so even if they were still skeptical, I could start working from there.
And about the "maid", I still wasn't completely sure, maybe I should show something more striking?
I could go to the mall or in the worst case, go to the station to take a train, I'm sure that the view of the city and the train itself could help me cement what I'm saying as true, although if I do that I'll have to hurry up, I'd rather not leave Touji alone for too long.
With that decided, I was about to get up until Kyujin's voice caught everyone's attention.
"Look, that's one of the dolls I told you about". The guy spoke as he pointed through his screen towards a figure walking down the street.

Chapter 9 and we are close to finishing the introductions part, after that we will focus on Ryuichi for a while to lay out the foundations of his personality, his environment, and some other things.
