And that's not counting this diabolical screen that connects me with 5 other problematic people from other worlds. But it doesn't matter, because I will survive, and I will become strong enough to give fate the middle finger. Chapter 6: Presentations 4

I was taking a pretty high risk with this, but at this point, if I didn't do something to prevent conflict from breaking out between all the chat members I could also be negatively affected.

So I had no choice if I wanted to have the slightest chance that the other chat members would stop thinking of me as a strange guy who wanted to harm them and believe my words, or at least give me the benefit of the doubt.

But pausing my actions I decided to make sure of something, so I got out of bed and walked to my desk to look for a couple of objects, and once I had them I opened the door to my room a little and spoke in voice aloud.

"Touji, come here a moment". I said and waited for a few seconds until I heard my little brother's footsteps approaching.

"Brother, what's wrong?" I heard him ask curiously behind the door, so I stuck out my arm, hoping that he wouldn't want to enter and that he would see the floating panel in front of me because if he did, I wouldn't know how to explain it.

"Can you put this on, please? It will only be for a moment". I ordered, hoping he would.

"Eh? Why do you want me to wear a cap, sunglasses, and a mask?" He asked quite confused.

"It's hard to explain, but if you do it, today I'll make a lot of popcorn, buy some candy, and soda, and we'll have a marathon movie night or the series of your choice, what do you say?"

"Oh really?" His joy was obvious, and I vividly imagined his eyes shining at my offer.

"I promise, but for now". I said waving my hand a little with the objects.

"Alright". He accepted and took the things from my hand.

"Alright, you'll have to keep all that on until I tell you, okay? It won't be much, I promise"

"I understand"

And with that, he walked away and I sighed a little more calmly, this way I wasn't going to run the risk of anyone in this chat seeing my brother.

So I grabbed another cap and another mask, this time for me, unfortunately not I had more sunglasses so I couldn't cover my eyes, but there was no other option.

Taking a quick look in the mirror I nodded and looked straight at the chat one more time before speaking.

The Tag-along (Admin): OK, before you decide to continue threatening each other I have to tell you something, I think I have a good idea of what is really going on and the situation we are all in, but you don't need to believe in my words, I have evidence that will show that what I say is completely true.

And without waiting for an answer, I used the video call function, inviting all chat members.

A new screen appeared next to the one on the screen where I could see my reflection as if there was a camera pointing at my face, so I looked around and found the option to use the rear camera, changing the focus to what was in front of me.

Seconds passed while the screen only showed "connecting…"

And just as I started to feel a little nervous, the screen changed, and a guy's face appeared on the screen along with a small box with a short text.

Unfortunate Princess, Greedy Heir, Maid with Survivor Syndrome, and Rude Big Sis have not accepted or rejected the call, so they go into spectator mode, therefore, they will not be able to intervene in the call or receive video, and they will only be able to listen to the audio.

"Wow, this really is like having a video call". The boy with green eyes, black hair, and a bandana on his head said with genuine surprise.

'So only one took the call? Well, it's not the worst-case scenario, I can work with that'. I thought before speaking.

"Hey, hello, like I said before, my name is Kaname Ryuichi, and you? Because calling you a cool bad student would be a bit strange". I started the conversation with something casual.

"Um? I'm Namekata Kyujin, but I haven't decided yet if you can call me Kyu-chan or not". He said as he crossed his arms and closed his eyes showing a thoughtful expression.

"Kyu-chan? OK, whatever, it's good that at least one of you accepted the video call, especially if it's you, Namekata-san, your story about Japan being attacked by bugs and dolls was quite striking". I finished speaking and noticed how the guy had taken out a small notebook that seemed more appropriate being in the hands of an elementary school girl than in those of someone who seemed to be a little older than me, and began to write in it.

"The bugs were only here the first day for a few minutes, the dolls-chan were the ones that did the most damage". He said without stopping writing, and when he finished, he closed the notebook and walked to a broken window, showing the landscape.

"What?!". My voice came out unconsciously, although I had already accepted that I would be dealing with people from other universes with different situations, none of that helped me when I saw the destroyed city, and I felt a chill pass through my spine.

"As far as I know the rest of the world is more or less like this too, that's why I'm sure you're lying"

"China, Russia, the US, did all the world's governments really fall?" I asked gulping, and Kyujin just shrugged.

"There is still the internet, although it is very slow, but as far as I saw, there are small groups in several countries that still survive"

I unconsciously clenched my fist at the thought of dolls causing the end of the world.

Unfortunate Princess and Greedy Heir have joined the call!

And along with that notice, 2 new screens opened, showing a boy and a girl, and although I was a little used to seeing attractive girls at my school, I couldn't help but be a little surprised by how pretty this purple-haired girl was.

It was lucky that the image on my screen was showing the door to my room and that my face was covered.

"So you guys joined in too? That's good, but Namekata-san, you said that the desolate landscape and destruction are proof that I'm lying, right? So tell me, what would this prove?" I finished saying when I approached the window of my room and opened the curtains, revealing my neighborhood completely intact and without showing anything similar to what Namekata-san had in his version of Japan.

Instantly I could see Namekata's eyes widen in disbelief at seeing an ordinary neighborhood so quiet and with people walking down the street as if it were any other day.

And although minor, the expressions of "Unfortunate Princess" and "Greedy Heir" were also something to take into account, since the girl's expression showed interest and surprise, while the guy did not show any changes beyond the fact that his eyes, which previously seemed to be closed, opened slightly.

However, I did not know if the reactions of these two were due to what Namekata showed, to what I showed, or to the contrast between both places.

"Japan, or at least the Japan that I know, as you can see, has not suffered any attack similar to the one you mention". I said to make the situation in my world completely clear.

"This". She said the girl with short purple hair as she covered her mouth with both hands.

"What nation did they say they were from?" The guy finally spoke.

""Japan"" We both responded at the same time.

"That has to be a lie". The "Unfortunate Princess" said. "Your stories don't match in the slightest, how could not only your country but the entire world have been attacked and one of you not know about it? How could one side say that nothing has happened and show that everything seems to be calm while another shows us a place that seems to have been devastated by war?" She asked, demanding answers.

"That is precisely why I am sure I know the nature of our situation". I replied.

"And what would that be?". "Greedy Heir" intervened with a clearly expectant tone.

"That's because possibly none of us live in the same world". I said finally, and I could clearly see the surprise to a greater or lesser extent in the eyes of the 3 people he was talking to, until…

Maid with Survivor Syndrome and Rude Big Sis have joined the call!

And with that notice, all the actors finally gathered on stage.
